Hi,
I'm quite unhappy, because the update process with the original T-Mobile ROM from their website failed. No, the device will not go beyond the splash screen. I tried to update again (bootloader screen is accessible), but this does not help. Strangely, On the PC the ROM-Version is not shown. After a hard-reset I get the Error
Format FAT partition

Old ROM:
IPL 1.06
SPL 1.06
GSM 01.12.10
OS 1.6.2.1
New ROM:
IPL 2.21
SPL 2.21
GSM 02.19.11
OS 2.21.2.8
What can I do?

I talked to T-Mobile and I will get a new device soon. Let's see which firmware is on that one...
T-Mobile: Brilliant! Just 30 hours after my call, I got a brand-new MDA Vario in exchange for my old one. It has already the newest official ROM on it.

I can't seem to get the upgrade to this ROM to work properly. Sequence of upgrades over time is as follows:
1) Original from factory: 1.08 (G3 ROM)
2) CID unlocked and upgraded to custom 2.17 months ago(CUSTOM_RUU_Prodigy_2170702_217_20710_TMO_US.exe)
3) Recently upgraded to the T-Mobile provided 2.26
4) Attempted to upgrade to xelencin's custom 2.26, but fails at 0% with RGB screen on Wizard
5) Attempted to downgrade to 1.08 (RUU_Prodigy_1081002_108_10910_TMO_US.exe), but fails at 0% with RGB screen on Wizard
Although the Tmobile MDA (WIZA200) isn't bricked, I can't seem to flash any alternative ROMs. Any ideas???

I am having a weird problem. I am unable to reflash back to the stock cingular 2.25 rom you get from the htcamerica.net site. Here's what happened. First of all I started off with
ipl 2.25
spl 2.25
GSM 2.25
OS 2.25
I was interested in istalling Faria's Aku 3.2 rom, So I downgraded to CUSTOM__RUU_Wizard_1050412_WWE_101_11210_WWE then I ended up with
ipl 1.01
spl 1.01
GSM 1.12.10
OS 1.5.4.2
Then I CID unlocked the phone with lockwiz 02b. Then I installed Molski's RUU_Molski.Biz_AKU2.3-226102_22610105_024711_WWE-30MB-CF2, which gave me
ipl 2.26
spl 2.26
GSM 1.12.10
OS 1.5.4.2
All seem to go well when I saw molski's flash screen, and his ext rom installed. But I was skeptical when I saw the GSM and OS still at 1.12.10, and 1.5.4.2 respectively. Anyways, I figure thats the way it should be. So then I tried to Flash Faria's FARIA-HTC-WIZARD -3.2-RC1-8MB, but nothing installed but the flash screen. The ext rom tried to installed but ended with a "windows cannot find autoconfig.exe" error. After several attemts I gave up and try to reflash back to the stock 2.25 Rom, and I am getting a "Upgrade error, invalid nbf file." Well something like that. Anyways, after several attempts, its a no go.
So what do I do from here. Do I start over with the downgrade rom and make sure that it was CID unlocked then start over again, or is there a step I am missing.
Ok, I figured it out. Finally. Apparently lockwiz 2.0 didn't CID unlock the device correctly, so I tried using lockwiz 2.0b and it Correctly CID unlock the device. I have finally been able to flash Faria's AKU 3.2. Yippeeeee.....
Ok I have an old MDA and a new one.
The new one is:

SPL 2.26
GSM 02.25 11
OS 2.26.10.2
The old one is:
IPL 1.08
SPL 1.08
GSM 1.09 10
OS 1.8.10.2
Basically how do i get the new one to read what the old one does?
I want to completely switch the software or rom or idk what its called.

I have a real problem after update my MDA Vario (T-Mobile) with AKU3.3
I have follow Version on my MDA Vario (german)
IPL 1.03
1.03
1.4.10.0
1.3.2.5
Then I used LokiWiz Version 02 for unlock - works fine!
After this I go to the T-Mobile Page and load the AKU3.3 Update.

I followed the instruction and after 95% rise an error:
Error: 326 - Wrong statement, the NBF file doesn't fit to your phone.
After the reset I see a color screen (Bootloader?) RUU
IPL 1.03
SPL 1.03
The communication to the update program works, but the same error rise.
I try it two times and tried it with AKU2, too. The same error.
What can I do?
If there another ROM Version (german) available for my MDA ?
I see here many wizzards and updates.
I only that it works!

I have a O2 Mini S with black diamond 3.1 installed i would like to upgrade my IPL SPL from 1.05 to 3.08, I am asking this as some time back i had upgraded my radio rom to 2.71.xxx & had to reinstall the OS again after doing so..
any helps appreciated.

for me, the following worked:
- downgraded to WM5 AKU2 according to the description shown in all WM6 release threads
- updated the thing with the latest T-Mobile update
- re-flashed the OS partition (via pdocwrite.exe, you can use "shelltool" or whatever other names they gave for their wrappers). but the typho5/nb2nbf couple just does as well. only remember to leave out the unnecessary ipl/spl and not to flash the G4 one by accident. or leave out those entirely, it wont harm since you should already have a 3.08 SPL (and probably IPL) at that point.
