Bluetooth hands-free - PDA2, XDA IIi, 2020i General

Is there any way to get button on bluetooth headset to start voice dial? If I press it once- it toggles mic and sound from PDA to/from Headset (should be voice dial), but when I press it for a second- I get last number redial (as it should be).
I can't find any information about doing it for Widcomm bluetooth stack.

Is any voice dialing software compatible with BT headset (press button on a headset -> speak number -> call) available? I have to start VoiceDial programm manually
Qtek 2020i.
Hi! I have Qtek 2020i and NOKIA HDW2. I am looking for the same software. Something to make voice calls with BT headset. Did you find anything? Maybe there is some program like buttonMAX, which can map bluetooth button to make a voice call or start Voice2Go or VoiceDial to recognize voice command.
Sorry. I've found any suitable software for this yet. Still looking.
hi i have problem with call and bt headset

Switch from BT Voice Speed Dial to headset capability

I like to listen to music or the radio (Resco) with my Jawbone or other BT headset.
I also like to occasionally use Voice Speed Dial by tapping on my BT headset and speaking a name to dial.
How does one turn one of those functionalities off or just switch between the two. (? registry setting). When I have the single ear BT headset on and want to have the music on the Kaiser switch to the headset by tapping on the headset - voice speed dial starts instead.
Obviously, the S9 stereo headset can do both - as you pair it show that you can choose both but other single ear BT headsets do not have a option for wireless music.
I have used it in the past with my old HTC Universal - it was a registry setting change - but that setting is not there in the Kaiser. (HKLM/Software/OEM/Voicecommand/launchapenable (changing 1 to 0) made this work).
Any ideas?
Maybe the question should be - how does one turn Voice Speed Dial off?
Sorry I have no answer that really helps but one thing is clear to me is the difference between one-ear BT headsets and stereo (S9 like) bt headset : they don't use the same bluetooth profile.
the one-ear one connects via the Headset profile and the stereo ones connect with the A2DP one (stereo bluetooth).
My 2 cents : Jabra has released a headset made of two parts : this is a stereo a2DBheadset that brings stereo by connecting a separate earphone to the first one. It sure brings headphone and A2DP bluetooth profiles : maybe it can be used with A2DP profile with only one ear linked ?

Bug: Bluetooth Headset not *really* connected on boot-up

I've been experiencing this problem on my TyTN II with the original ROM. The programs I have installed which may be affecting the problem are:
-CooTek TouchPal 2
-TIInit_4_2_38 Kaiser (Official HTC Bluetooth Fix)
- duttythroy v3 Voip Setup
- Microsoft Voice Command v1.6.17913
Here's the problem:
- boot up the TyTN II (after being completely powered off) or toggle Bluetooth power off & on, with paired bluetooth headset within range and on
- Go to Phone screen. Headset icon is there indicating that the Bluetooth headset is connected.
- Press talk/send button on Bluetooth headset to start Microsoft Voice Command or answer an incoming call.
Result: Headset beeps as expected, but nothing happens on the TyTN II. Voice Command is not initiated. Incoming calls are not answered.
Workaround: If I go to Start>Settings>Connections>Bluetooth... Tap & Hold on my Bluetooth Headset, then choose "Set as Hands Free" the headset beeps again indicated that it made a connection. After I do that, all is as it should be! I can activate Voice Command, and answer/end calls with the Bluetooth Headset. I should not have to set my Bluetooth Headset as the Handsfree device everytime a reboot or toggle the Bluetooth power status.
I suspect it might be the Voip implementation, or the HTC Bluetooth "fix" but haven't done a hard reset yet to test.
Has anyone else had this problem? Does anyone know of a solution??
What headset are you using? I have the same software (except ROM) as you and haven't experienced this problem. I can SR with headset on and it will reconnect once the device reboots.
I tried it with the Nextlink Invisio G5, and Bluespoon AX2, both of which worked properly with other phones (HTC P3300, Nokia N95, etc., etc.,). I can try other headsets, but I'm pretty sure it's the phone software.
If your Voip and MS Voice Command are the same as mine and everything is working properly, maybe it's the HTC Bluetooth "fix". I guess another hard reset is in order soon.

Auto hands free when receiving a call?

T-mobile MDA Compact IV.
SwiftBL WWE 16mb v6.5
I have an 'iqua' fairly cheap bog standard bluetooth headset.
When I make a call with the headset connected it works fine. When I recieve a call, the ringing comes through the headset, but when I answer the call its coming through the speaker on the phone and not the headset. I have to hit options then hands free to get it working.
Very annoying when I'm driving because Tom Tom flashes back up before I even get the chance to enable the hands free...
Tried panosha's rom as well, same thing happens..
Anyone know an app or registry edit which will solve this problem?
Thanks in advance!
Bump. Should I just buy a different bluetooth ear piece?

I think yes. I have a Motorola bluetooth handsfree and it doesn't have this issue.
I have the same issue with my Jabra headset, a solution would be nice.
I'm having the same problem with a Sony headset.
You synchronize the headset and suspend the device. Once an incoming call arrives, the device wakes up, the headset rings (so it's working) but once you accept the call, it won't transmit the sound using the headset, you need to do it manually.
this sounds like a configuration/software problem, anyone has ideas, Please ?
with my jabra BT125 headset, if i press "answer call" on the phone, I'd have to go through menu and select handsfree. If I answer the call by pressing the button on my headset, then it routes to the headset. Have you try answering the call by pressing whichever button on your headset?

Yes i press the hardware button on my headset to answer it (which works). But it still doesn't enable the handsfree. Could this be related to the cyberon voice command ?

Help, Bluetooth Headset Configuration with Cyberon Voice Commander

I have Cyberon Voice Commander 1.5.1 installed on my HTC Touch Diamond.
When I press the button on my BT headset the CVC opens and a prompt "say a command" is played through my BT headset; however, it does not seem to take input from my BT headset when I say a command. I tried the program with a wired headset and it works flawlessly. Please advise if there are any settings I need to configure to make it work with BT.
Thanks!
Any help with bluetooth headset stack/configuration would be greatly appreciated.
