Error 300 while installing Molski - 8125, K-JAM, P4300, MDA Vario Software Upgrading

I currently have AKU3.2-1.0RC1.
What do I have to do to install RUU_Molski.Biz_AKU2.3-226102_22610105_024711_WWE-30MB-CF2?
Also, Molski mentioned I need an Extended ROM - how do I install that?
Thanks guys.
Tried RomUpgradeUtility_noID .....there was an Error 240 =(

O i got that. that's from the Readme file.....
But what does that mean?....like.can you suggest the next step? =)

Well... I'd suggest that you use this ROM to downgrade with. You should be aware that this ROM also downgrades the ipl/spl so make sure that after flashing it upgrade to an official ROM that also upgrades your bootloader.
NOTE: You have to make sure that your device is CID-unlocked before flashing a custom ROM. If you don't know how, look here...
After these steps you shouldn't have a problem upgrading to the latest molski.biz ROM.
Oh, and the extended_rom is, in the case of molskis rom, already included in the download. As it is in almost every ROM available, so you really don't have to worry about that...
Good luck and give us a shout if you run in to any problems not answered in the above mentioned thread

I had my CID unlocked using lokiwiz. Very happy - first time everything just went as described in the thread....!
However I wasn't able to use __RUU_Wizard_1050412_WWE_101_11210_WWE.exe - It gives me an Error 300 again. (My Wizard is newly hard-resetted so I guess I don't mind hard-resetting it again if needed)

ANY1 i think this is so stupid but can't handle it

I tried to upgrade mine xda with ivan's rom but something went wrong so now i cand upgrade it at all.
Allways i get some country or model id error.
I tried to restore image(which i got from another XDA) but says when i enter bootloader & when i should be asked for rom dump it says:
SD Download
Sections=3
Not allow update
I checked ExtROM version but it says 0.0
Please if u have any solution i would be gratefull
stop complaining and start searching for solution.
hint: use MaUpgradeUt_noID.exe to bypass the country code error.
helmi_c has packed this kinda utility in this latest rom (in the folder PH20B1).
good luck.
also read the upgrading wiki. what does it say your meant to do before you upgrade? get ur device data. then what does it say to do with that data?
input it into the upgrade file. helmi's newest rom pretty much does this for u if u follow the wiki and the readme that comes with it.
always follow guides TO THE LETTER, or you're gonna screw up your device.

upgrade didn't work

i tried several times like described here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=285435
but always when i want to downgrade my rom with the mentioned button 1.05 rom it went till 98% an then my wizard didnt do anything until i reboot it.
with the standard o2 rom i have the lokiwiz didnt work. but what could be the fault ? what can i try to get it work ?

Who knows, you didn't tell anything useful about your phone or what ROMs or anything else. Try the link in my sig. Read it, do ALL the steps, if you think you can skip something--don't, if "it doesn't work"--then you didn't follow all the steps.
Best of luck,

I think this may be part of the problem... How long did you wait? All roms stall at some point and can stall for like 5 mins (sometimes more). Don't do ANYTHING, unless your PC gets an error. Its still working. If it sits for more than 10 mins then you probably do have a problem, but it can sit for what seems like forever sometimes. Just be patient.

This is an error that you can get on G4 devices. What are you doing in step G3.4? Read G4.6!
but in the tutorial http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=298613
is described how to determine the wizard type and my ipl/spl is 2.21 and thats G3 device.

That error indicates you aren't CID Unlocked. Is your phone booting now? or are you at the bootloader (rainbow) screen? If you are at the bootloader, then flash your official rom to get a working device. Once you have a working device, then go to step G3.6 and do the CID Unlock procedure.
ALso remove your SD card while you are doing all of this until you get it CID Unlocked and onto the TMobile 2.26 official rom (G3.8).
AND yes, you have a G3, so you don't (and shouldn't) be in the G4.x steps.

This is my last post for the day as I can't handle anymore of this (its not just you peran, but the other half dozen posts I've read in the last hour or so where people just aren't following the instructions they are given. These methods are tried and true, and they work. And yes, this is the way to CID Unlock your phone unless you pay to have it done)... In a previous post to you, it was stated you had to get back to an official rom first. Have you done this (your replies indicate you just continue to do other roms)? You need to get the latest rom from your carrier and get your device working again. Get it all charged up, pull out your SD card, then try flashing back to the button rom (I would also suggest you try pulling the button rom down again in case there is something wrong with your previous download of it).
Its the weekend, I'm going to go enjoy the spring weather
i did it like u suggested mfrazzz. i know that my phone isnt CID unlocked. but that is my problem. i read the mentioned article x-times and did it like described but the problem is : when i downgrade to button 1.05 rom then my pda stuck at 98% and i get the message from the update program on my pc that the downgrade was successful. but it isn't. why? till this step u cant do much wrong i think... :-(
Have you flashed back to the official rom from your carrier? Until you do that and get your device back working there is no point in trying to continue to flash the button rom (or any other rom). You have to get back to your carrier's official rom first. None of your posts indicate you have done that.

i always went back to the official rom from my provider and this always works perfectly. i tried it today again but always the same stucking at 98%.
i did it STEP BY STEP but it didnt work.
is there another rom i can use than button 1.05 ?
Is there no other rom then the one from button to downgrade my ipl/spl to 1.xx ?
please help.

now i used Xelecin's 1.08 rom and this one worked. then i used lokiwiz and it was successful. but then i flashed the tmobile 2.26 rom and this worked but i couldnt use my sim-card any more. always when i insert my pin it said unknown sim and then crashes. i thought i sim-unlocked the wizard? another problem was when i want to flash the official o2 rom it said unknown vendor id...but i used before lokiwiz and there were no errors...and the last question, i know there are many now, where do i insert the sim-code i got from lokiwiz?
i hope someone have some answers...thx before

Cannot seem to flash blackstone??

Hey all,
I currently have the original ROM Version: 1.19.61.1 WWE and i am trying to update the SPL to a HSPL so that i can use cooked ROMs, can someone tell me why this isnt working? I used the HSPL from the sticky thread on this forum yet it hasn't changed anything......do I have to hard reset my blackstone after doing this? I am getting the error [240]:FILE OPEN telling me to update utility.
Thanks
What type of operation system do you have? Is it vista?
http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=RUU_Errors - doesnt really apply to HSPL package though for your error code?
I have XP does that make a difference?

Should make it easier as you don't need to update vista drivers as you're using XP.
Have you followed cRaCKwHoRe's guide to get HSPL or USPL onto your device. Follow link to his guide in my signature.
ERROR [240] - When this error message appears, check whether the downloaded image is placed in the directory of RUU. If, for some unknown reason, you find that the ROM image is not located in the RUU folder, you have to download the RUU and retry again. Check that the contents of the folder is a CustomRUU.exe file and an .nbh file. If you put the os-new.nb file in by mistake instead of the .nbh, this is the error that shows up.

after flashing the new O2 rom the hspl-flash-tool (1.56.OliNex) breaks up with the message "update error".
it seems that the new rom locket it.

look here: [USPL] - Blackstone USPL, or how to keep your stock SPL and flash cooked ROMs
Please post rom flashing problems in the Dummies Guide to flashing thread.
There are a few different Update Error codes though. Did you get a number with the error eg 262 or 280 as they mean different things

thx 4 ur fast answers. i don't want to get a uspl, my prob is that i can't flash any other spl anymore.
after trying out a new 6.5, i had to reflash it because of an green-screen problem.
and since i flashed the new O2 version 1.57.207.1 im not able to flash any spl or rom. the only error i see is "update error" which seems to be a lock problem...

As I asked earlier? What is the number of the error you get as there are different meanings to each one of these?
Also, the mods will close this thread down, so please take any other questions to the Dummies Guide thread.

ERROR [262] : UPDATE ERROR
This error occurs during the CE ROM code upgrade process.
Solution: If this happens, you can just soft-reset the device and run RUU again. The update process will then continue.
Note: At this stage, the Wince is destroyed; instead, it is in upgrade mode.

btw: soft reset didn't help
Please post in dummies guide thread. No need for another thread

Phone Stuck on RGB/Bootloader Display

Guys,
My HD has an issues, it appears to only go to the RGB screen/bootloader. The error says:
"Upgrade ROM code error
Please try again"
It appeared after trying to downgrade from HardSPL after my screen kept being miss aligned and I was onable to use the phone properly.

hello,
you should provide more information of what you're doing, or what you've done.
For example, telling us which rom are you using now and what rom you want to flash to.
Also, 'trying to downgrade from HSPL' to what?
And maybe some other relevant infos so that we all can help you

Does it still show hspl as being loaded? If so, just flash the rom again, as it says. That error usually happens when the rom update process is interrupted.
I presume you are trying to flash back to a stock rom to correct some issues you are having. If so, follow the steps at the end of this post.
It was from a stock ROM - I was on Miri's v35 before then. I wanted to change SPL to stock so I sued the stock 1.15 file and when through the process and for some reason it didn't complete and now I get the error.
Bump - I kinda want my phone BACK!

Okay, let us all make things clear again, shall we?
You were with Miri's v35, then you decide to go back to stock. So you flashed back a stock rom, and now you want the spl back to stock spl.
So did you restored your radio too?
3. run the hardspl exe but do not click anything in RUU yet. just let the hardspl EXE extract the files for flashing.
4. the SPL you want to revert to is a .NBH file, put the stock SPL NBH in the extracted hardspl package, overwriting the original NBH file in it!
Click to collapse
Now the other question: Did you overwrite the .nbh file as mentioned?
