I have a qtek 9090 on wich i have installed the Helmi BA WM2k5 AKU3.2 Beta (v.1.3.2 Beta), All Rights with all and many thanks to helmi.
I have only a problem, my "energy bluetooth headset" that is on bluetooth v1.1 don't pair with my qtek
sometimes the qtek don'see it,
sometimes the qtek see it but when i inset the pass 0000 say incorrect pass,
sometimes the qtek see it accept pass but don' show any service, so i can't choose headset service and use it.
How i can do, please?
I' read that there is some pach form helmi, who says me wich is good for me?

Hi all,
Since I think we all can agree to that Bluetooth on Qtek 9090 is ****e, I've been snooping around a bit, and eventually I managed to get a brand new upgrade from Dangaard
This patch upgrades the Bluetooth Stack from build 2200 to 3500, and I have experienced some great improvements since I upgraded the device. I’m not done testing yet, but I’ll let you guys know if I find something interesting. I can’t post the file right now because the only link I have to the internet at the moment is my GPRS connection, but it was my understanding that Dangaard will post it on their site within a few days anyway.
I’ll get back to you with more information soon.

The site is in Danish, but it says that you have to copy both files to the Qtek and then execute them from the file explorer. First do the WWE one, then the Patch file, and then make a soft reset.
That'll do the trick ;-)

I have installed them. Before these patches my Qtek 9090 would turn on by itself when I have paired to the bluetooth carkit. Now it does not do that anymore. I never had problems using the bluetooth carkit together with bluetooth TomTom. So I can not say whether the patches have solved the issues when using bluetooth headset together with navigating using TomTom bluetooth.
've installed and tested the BT patches. I had several problems with the BT headset that are now solved.
- Headset was not reconnected after power off and on again: solved
Now it behaves in a strange way, that the BT keeps connected while the device is powered off and when you turn it on again, BT turns OFF and then On again in a second and the headset is reconnected.
Let's see if this has an impact on battery, as prior the patch, the battery was going down dramatically if the headset was paired!
For the moment I can recomment it, I have a Qtek9090

It's a shame to make a path after selling a defecting device.
Each patch that i have tested doesn't work enaugh for me.
It resolve some bugs but audio quality and crackssss are already here.
I have qtek 9090 and motorola 850. Poor audio quality and i have to stay front of the device to speak. If i stay front of it work well.
Is there another patch to test after v3000 and V3200 because it doens't resolve audio quality and distance.
Im using the update from windowsmobile.no ( aka mywindowsmobile.dk )

I wont/cant do anything with it, since it will only install on Swedish 9090, but maybe some off you guys can get the important files out of it??

I have Swedish QTEK 9090 and i also had installed this new ROM.
It wont fix this well known Jabra and Qtek crackling problem.
It's english, the above ROM 1.22 and instals on english Qtek... I've just done it.

All Rom's released in Scandinavien are English.
The installer checks the country code on the phone and wont installed if it's not Swedish.
Well it is suppose to not installe, but for some reason a Norwigean guy over at windowsmobile.no got it installed without problems.
It wont install on mine, bought in Norway.
Does anybody know where to change the country code??

Just got the Qtek 9090, with the latest ROM version, 1.22.00WWE, and the BT stinks.
Connection til JABRA 250, goes from good connection to zip, and it is not possible to use it.
Using Holux 230, same problem.
All in All the Bluetooth do not funktion and is not useable.
Hopefully there will be an update SOON I mean VERY SOON, as this product otherwise goes directly back to the reseller.

Help, I bought a hbh-600 bluetooth headset but am not be able to connect it to my Qtek 9090. I can find the device and authorise it, but I am not able to connect to the device. Everytim I will connect to the device my Qtek 9090 says: Connection failed...
Help what can I do...
Had this problem yesterday with my step uncle's Harrier, and the HBH-600.. Just took a lot of fiddling around by turning bluetooth on/off, re-pairing, and it eventually worked.
I haven't seen this with my Harrier/HBH-600.. but I have had some general bluetooth issues.. About to try an upgrade to the 3500 build.
Can you tell me specific what you have done? Because I have tried that repairing and Bluetooth on and off also a few times...
Is it the authentification? Or is it something else.

Well, no, not really sorry.. I was just mucking around, because he was in a hurry to leave... It just worked in the end. It may well not be the same problem anyway.. sorry.
the range on HBH600 sucks - mount it on the ear, and put 9090 in your trousers pocket or extend your arm while holding PPC - you will have very poor sound instantly.

First of all I'm really new to the BA world, so be patient if I make stupid question
I have a brand new imate PDA2k (see ROMs versioning in my signature) and I have just bought a bluetooth headset (Motorola HS820)
It seems that I can paired it to the imate but it doesn't get connected.
The error message is "connection failed". The HS820 works fine with my Nokia 6310i
The current BT software version is the BT3500 provied by the original imate ROM
Please help me. Any suggetiion will be very appreciated

oops sorry my friend, My BA is dead backthen, but now my ba is alive again... hopes I'll post a good news about broadcomm and BA, fyi, I've successfully transmit all audio (stereo & non stereo, like notification etc) to bt headset, but on universal device its conflict with ril system (gprs module and stuff) I'll try to start testin on BA again... hopefully It'll end up good..

I've test many version like 1.7.1.3400,1.7.1.9000,1.7.6.0500 and used your patch1 and patch2. All version are support stereo very well. but with headset mode connecting headset like incoming telegram. So I press switch. The headset icon display connecting. Next I call, but the voice is through BA either headset.
This is my test.Hope helpful and wait for your good new.

That's very good!
But the version is WWE. So I need a cab file and install it in my CHS version.
4 months ago, PP and many other R&D tried to modify Helmi's rom from WWE to CHS. Since learning rom kitchen PP start creating rom from OS,LOC,OEM... and use .0804 chinese language file. So if Helmi can make a widcomm cab file which support phone and stereo, PP can make it into CHS rom.

I just use this version. Stereo is connected, but MP3 is flash. I can hear the "di..di..." when I touch Start. I hear some system sound. Mp3,avi and more media, I can't hear.

what i did was after pairing the device i do not use the bluetooth icon in comm manager to on the bluetooth. try to connect from setting -bluetooth setting-mark the turn on bluetooth box.(also from comm manager).i dont know why i can get trough but working fine-hope somebody with more experiences will clarify this problem maybe Helmi_c could
regarding the radio stack last time i used 1.15 then down grade to 1.12 .may be in next i try with 1.15 again.

when i install this version of rom, my wifi are not available.. means cannot activate via wireless manager (i will be diverted to comm manager) at connection tab of setting n no wireless icon available.. however, kerio teaches me to activate via system tab.. will try soon
