Hi guys
I use my phone a lot for business and got many countries to follow up ... therefore I use special numbers (prefixes) to dial.
Is there any sftware equivalent to O2 one for dialling which can be installed on the machine?
As long as I'm concerned the best I have founded is Sunnysoft Calling Card dialer but is stupid spend money when it should be the OEM providing this very basic function: any idea?
Thanks for your cooperation on the matter
I implemented a software that should qualify your request, it is free.

Does any one know where can i find "voice dial" utility for MDA III English version
I'm using Vito VoiceDialerPE and it works great
Hi,
the English ROM for the MDA III (which is IMHO german, it's sold under different names outside of Germany) is the one for the i-mate... this version doesn't not have voice dialing integrated, you will need to buy additional software. I use MS Commander and like it a lot... it's a little hard to use in public as the commands are not always recognized right away, but it still is pretty good.
Treo
Fonix Voice Central works well.
Voice Recognition Software
I have just downloaded VoiceCentral V2.0 just started to use it, but it seems you have to train it if anybody could give me some pointers on how to use this software while i am driving, coz so far it's not been that accurate for me (only had it a week).
Also, if anybody wants it, i could upload it for you to download and try out?
Al
I use MS Voice Command, works straight out of the box with no training.
Controls most the major features on device by voice

Hi everyone
I work for a very small mobile operator, we purchase through the O2 UK sales channel so therefore sell the UK version of the O2 XDA2S, which comes pre-installed with the O2 UK ROM, but we have our own GPRS APN connection details etc.
We don't usually sell a huge volume in any one month, due to the fact it is a small market, so setting up our own connection details and 'today screen' on an individual device basis hasn't been a huge hassle.
However I have now been asked to investigate delivering a large quantity (hundreds) preconfigured to a customer. Apologies if this is obvious to some of you (and I did do a search hehe but don't quite understand some of the apps and tweaks I've seen), but is there an application that allows me to tweak the ROM to change the preinstalled O2 connection details to our own? If so I would be hugely grateful if someone could explain in a relatively simple way how to achieve this.
Very many thanks in advance for any help!

You need to have a better understanding of the device and how the applications are placed on it (that come from the operator o2 as well as your own ones).
What you are trying to do we refer to as cooking the exteneded rom.
What we mean by this is taking out components that are not needed or wanted and adding others such as today plugins.
Thus you can create a Exteneded rom and ship this with the update utilaty provided by the manufacture.
Please read the threads in wiki in the exteneded rom kitchen.

As an operator can you get hold of:
"Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition Adaptation Kit Update 2 (AKU2)"
This is shiped to HTC and then passed on to the operator (o2) thus you.
Hello all,
First off, sorry for the long post, I'm sure it won’t happen again. I'm new to the forum & Cingular 8125. I had a Treo 700w for about a week but I got rid of it because of ActiveStink & Verizon's poor service in my area. Now I have a shiny new Wizard and am anxious to get it all dialed in. So far I have not purchased anything for it except the Plantronics 640 BT headset & BoxWave screen protector. I'm in real estate now, so I'm in car a lot and plan on getting TomTom5 & a vehicle mount. Easy access to call & e-mail contacts, hopefully sorted by FIRST name and using my own custom Outlook forms would be GREAT! Is this available anywhere?
 I guess what I'd like from experienced users is a brief list of really basic useful software & accessories that have been proven to work by you. Just basics, like backup, contact mgmt, SD mini cards, SmartKey(?), etc. In my brief Treo days I found a really useful thread on a Treo forum ( http://guide.treonauts.com ) that really helped me plan & budget for stuff I might add to the device, and it would be really cool if forums WM users could have a similar thread....maybe this can be it?
:?: Also, I've been reading a lot of threads about custom ROM updates here, which seem to be helpful to a lot of you, but it sounds like there may be a new "official" ROM from Cingular released soon, so I am not sure of whether I shoudl update my ROM right now. I don't work for a company with an Exchange server, so I just set my e-mail acct to check IMAP every 5 minutes. SO, the only feature I really want is voice dialing over BT. Is that (A2DP) part of the HTC ROM with radio vs. 01.16.11?
Thank you all, I really appreciate your feedback!
Voice Dialing via Bluetooth can be accomplished with the shipped ROM.
If you are happy with Cyberon voice dialer then you're already set, just record your voice tags.
For real voice recgonition, buy Misrocost Voice Command and find the Cab file or Registry Hacks you'll need to hi-jack the button ffrom Cyberon )posted many times in these forums).
For me the reasons to flash one of the 2.0 Roms: speed, stability, inproved battery life.
hi rom cookers,
is there any way to build a anti-theft tool like iiwpo in the jade roms?
exist an application based on GPS, anti-theft. is called w.i.m.p - where is my phone. when is stollen, and is inserted another sim in it, you will receive on your number the gps coordonates, and everything that is doing with that sim (where has called, where has sent a sms, which one has called him, etc).
At first: WIMP is not freeware or opensource.
Second: how it works after hard reset?
yes, is not freeware. and after hard reset will not work anymore, but, usually thiefs is stealing a phone, and then faster has been selt.
Hello, I am not abble use the O2 SIM Tool Kit application. Anybody has the same problem? Any idea? Without STK I cannot log on to the bank web interface.
not even seen the app
It looks, that nobody here needs SIM Tool Kit...
I dont know how its used elsewhere, but in Czech republic its commonly used for bank verification. What about in Germany, UK or US? Do you use it as well?
don't think we use that here in the usa.
Am I still the only one who is missing this feature?

Wouldn't this be more of a question to the providor of that app? Considering what we have seen with other apps, marketplace, other programs, I would think compatibality with WP7 would be a 'known' issue that would need to be resolved by the providor.....I mean...everything else has changed...why wouldn't this.
I have spoken for long time with WP7 team. They have no plans for Sim-Toolkit. Damn...
really Narrow minded
absence of STK in the short term will make the phones unusable in 3rd world countries as many users will suddenly miss this great functionality.
Not sure if the feature used to work on my old WM 6.5 phone is related to STK or not where i have a SIM card with dual phone numbers (Business and Private).
I was able to switch between the 2 numbers and also was able to see some list of features pushed by my service provider.
Now on WM7 its not working anymore
Well.. whatever I found is that STK Sim Tool Kit is not available in WP7 yet and there is no plans for future release. But maybe MS will change plans. In other way, you can change the bank or account type to use SMS autentification so STK will be not needed.
BUT... if you are using STK tool to unlock the credit card - it is no way how to do it, as SMS autentification is just for entering webbanking.
That is really BAD..

STK Sim ToolKit is very useful. In most of countries, operators offer Dual phoine numbers SIMs. Very useful: you can toggle from private to Business numbers with a single phone.
Best,
