Due a little brawl with the dutch Orange Empoyees. They said not to distribute new firmware for my SPV M2000, which is rather strange cause the old Roms are a big buggy ;-) I patched it to a real QTEK 9090 1.40 ;-)

Hi all , My K-JAM is showing an ExtRom Ver. 1.1.9.105 , while in club imate is it only ExtRom Ver. 1.1.9.103 for ARABIC!! any one else have this!!
On the i-mate site, in the update section for K-JAM, the names of the download files and description has not been changed and still shows ext-rom version 1.1.9.103
But if you look closely, you will notice that the link for the download has been updated with new version 1.1.9.105 for Arabic and 1.1.9.106 for WWE

I am buying a Wizard (MDA Vario) for an Australian friend of mine that's coming over for a visit and naturally she wants the wizard in English.
However, I can easily (and very cheaply) get the Dutch version from T-Mobile in the Netherlands since I am renewing my partners contract.
So I guess I need to flash a new WWE rom onto the Dutch T-Mobile...
My questions:
I am aware of the WWE I-Mate Rom that you can download from the club I-Mate ftp site.
1. Is this a good rom - and will it work 100% problem free with the Dutch MDA Vario?
2. Are there any other or better alternatives? any links to other roms? maybe a T-Mobile UK rom or QTEK 9100? which WWE rom is considered the most stable and non sluggish?

Lisa, I am having the same issue ,e xcept mine is Currently with Orange and a French OS.

I have a Dutch MDA myself.
Just flashed the Imate rom today with WWE.
Seems to work great.
No problems at all.
Qwerty keyboard is the same too.
Hye i'm neewby in your forum, and i've found the answer in forum's topics.
The Spv m3000 (Qtek 9100 for Orange france) is blocking some soft's execution (as wishbar) because there no signature.
Do you know how to remove this boring function ? :twisted:

Hi, I am new to the Windows Mobile PC world.
I bought a used SPV M2000, which has WM3. I dont have a system disc.
Is it possible to make a system disc, so that if anything happens i can reinstall the wm3.
My second question: Is it possible to upgrade from wm3 to wm5, if yes where can I get WM5 to install?
