Anyone else get this to open?

I also downloaded the file and found it corrupted. I had a look inside the file and about 80% consists of empty bytes (00 hex).
I hope they upload a valid version, soon.

The O2 support guys must be a right bunch of monkeys to mess this up so spectacularly!

Yeah, I tried to examine it too, it is so typical of O2 to do something like this. I emailed them this morning, has anyone else? I hope they sort this soon!

most stable/fewest problems 3.x rom out?

hi, im new on here and new to upgrading these phones i have a Cingular 8125. so far ive upgraded to the newest cingular rom (2.25.11.1 WWE) I would like to upgrade to one of the newer 3.x roms but still keep it stable and be able to use most programs. i also need to SIM and CID unlock my phone still so any help on that process would be appreciated too. ive looked on here quite a bit and it seems like there are a lot of conflicting issues about SIM AND CID unlcking phones that have IPL/SPL 2.xx (i have 2.25 for both) again...any help on any of the subjects is greatly apprciated!! ::edit:: also ive read about haveing to install cingular settings to get the MMS/SMS to work correctly again. is that for all ROM upgrades other than shipped ROMs? and if it is needed, where can i find it?

wow.... 122 veiws so far and not single comment :-/ not even to flame the noobie for not noticing the CID/SIM unlock instructions untill immediatly after he posted the thread. ohwell, i will persevere

ive tried them all, but the one that's the most stable so far is Molski's 1st Edition 3.0.0.0 AKU3.2 Rom, in fact its lasted the longest of all the roms I've installed so far. I hope that helps

People are being nice!
As a noob....instead of asking.....read! If you READ through the threads, you'll notice different people have different experiences with the same ROM. What's stable for me may not be stable for you.
All the roms you may be interested in are all clean roms which means you have to install your carrier settings......do you know what they are? Start with this and until then.....stay with your factory rom............

thanks guys. the CIS/SIM unlock was an oversight on my part, but i figured i would ask since no matter waht ROM it is it seems that a few people have certain issues with it and i was hopeing to kind of get a feeling for which one most of the people are happiest with. i have a .CAB with the carrier settings in it. another option that im thinking about is just waiting untill crossbow is out and seeing if cingular puts it on the 8125 so that i can get it as a OEM rom. I am most likely not going to be doing all the things that you guys are with the wizards, but i am interested in keeping it updated with the best ROM and radio ROM and being able to personalize it. i hate haveing the same thing as everyone else...
::EDIT:: and i've been reading for the last 5 days lol. TMI to digest all at once on here

I agree with Dr P. This is the longest I have stayed with a ROM The Molski 3.0.0.0 very stable.

Okay - now I'll ask you a ? - How do you have a cab of your carrier settings. I would love that.

Concur Molski 3.0 but replace the radio to 2.19 rom to resolve the missed call/frozen buttons issues. Then it's near perfect but for a few apps that need to be resolved by their developers

For Cingular download the P_Conn_CWS_APR12_Wizard and rename to zip to cab.
<hint> Keep this on your SC !

thanks for the opinions guys, and thanks for posting that for me doc, my computer has been down for a few days and i couldnt get the file off to send him. im just trying to decide now if i want to use that rom or wait untill the WM6 WWE rom is available..seems like it should be pretty soon.

In what way is the 1st edition AKU 3.2 more stable than the latest AKU 3.3 that faria just released?

Hey guys, first post. Im looking all over for the tmobile 2.26 rom in order to start flashing other roms on my tmobile mda. all the links I found across xda and the web seem to point to the same tmobile site that is not up. If anyone has a link it would be a great help thanks!

HTC 3600 new user, please help

Hello all,
Today I picked up a new HTC 3600, or as it's know in France the SFR s300+ and here-in lies the problem.
The phone is currently all in French and I would like it to be a UK spec (or US at a push )
I have no information to lose so am prepared to do almost anything to it, can anyone help me or steer me in the right direction?

Pick a WM6 ROM from the Trinity Mobile 6 Forum, then reflash it.
I currently use ADW's:

I find it to be the most fast and stable ROM I've tried.
Download the ROM with Radio:
http://rapidshare.com/files/60678608/P3600_WM6_1.1_WWE_ADW_incl_RADIO.rar
Then just run the update exe file in there, and follow the instruction.
Make sure phone's charged and you don't unplug the cable before installation finished.
Plenty of information around the forum, just browse around and you'll find really interesting things.

Depends on your operator name:
- Orange and SFR: you can pick the radio you want
- Bouygues: up to radio 1.41.x.x it's OK. Above (1.46.X.X, 1.50.X.X) users reports some dropped calls and other troubles.

that version also has peru in it. i leave to peru in about a week, hopefully i can also get a hold of it. thank you

The actual application is version 1.5.35353.1, however the 'provision.zip' file is smaller than an older Connection Setup I have in my ROM. As the .ZIP file is password protected I can't check the contents, however I assume they are just .XML files with connection settings for specific operators? Is this .ZIP file updated independently?
