Sum it all up: IPL/SPL+Radio+Ext.ROM+ROM itself - 8125, K-JAM, P4300, MDA Vario Software Upgrading

Hello!
I initially PM'd a few people regarding this but I think I'll get more interaction if I just made it a thread.
I have a MDA. Following the The Definitive Guide to Unlocking & Rom Upgrading G3 Wizards by Dr. Puttingham, I was able to get it unlocked and updated to T-Mobile v2.26 and the process went perfectly *smooth 'n nice*.
Now... I'm targeting XDA Mobile 6 as my new ROM (OS).
Going through the requirements of X6, I found out that it's just the ROM... no IPL/SPL, Radio, or Ext...
Also, in the guide linked above a newer IPL/SPL v3.08 is mentioned... and similarly, in the X6's thread, a note regarding a T-Mobile 2.19 UK Radio is also mentioned.
Now I have all these files but I don't know how to proceed...
what should I install first? <- Very, very Important! teh sequence
Should I go for the IPL/SPL v3?
I already studied the whole XDA Mobile 6 thread and figured that I should stick with Radio v2.19 as per mfrazzz recommendation.
So, as the title says, "PL/SPL+Radio+Ext.ROM+ROM itself"... how am I to mix them all up together?

salaaam! noticed your in lahore!
ok, i was in a similar position to you,
this is what i did:
i started off with ipl/spl 1.01
CID Unlocked and SIM-unlocked using LOKIWIZ (THIS IS IMPORTANT, MAKE SURE YOU HAVE CID-UNLOCKED!)
download the official T-Mobile 2.26 Update
Install the T-Mobile update, your IPL/SPL Changes to 2.26
download XM6,
FLASH IT!
its as simple as that once you've CID-Unlocked
you dont want to be mixing around with anything!
dont worry about IPL/SPL V3, there is very little/no gain over ipl/spl 2.26 (i actually went to ipl/spl 3.08 and then ended up downgrading to ipl/spl 2.26
Radio- use the reccommended one in the XM6 thread, no other radio roms appear to work so well with windows mobile 6
ext.rom is basically the 'extended rom' what this is, is a little area of flash memory in your wizard that, when you turn your wizard on for the first time, it installs some t-mobile customisations like the themese and dial skins and stuff.
so, in summary: after cid-unlocking and flashing 2.26 you can pretty much flash any other rom you want! its only with a G4 its a little complicated, but by the sounds of it you dont have a G4!
good luck!

oh, forgot to add:
YOU DONT WANT TO BE PLAYING AROUND WITH IPL/SPL, this is what bricks most phones
an unsuccessful OS flash can be repaired easily, but an unsuccessful COMPLETE rom update (i.e OS + ipl/spl + ext_rom) cannot be repaired so easily.
ALL of the roms in the 'Wizard Mobile 6' forums are OS ONLY, so you can flash away! just keep the official 2.26 update handy just in case!
i've never had any problems with flashing roms, and i have tried nearly all of the pandora WM6 roms (almost 10 of them i think), XM6 (the one you wish to try), WM6 BE, NBD all of his versions, TNT 2.0, Ti edition, Farias real thing and now ive settled on my own cooked rom!

Thank you so much Duke!
Okay, this just leaves a bit of room for Radio... the TMv2.26 has radio v02.25.11... I downloaded the recommended Radio version.
Should I update the ROM first or the Radio?

i would upgrade the radio rom first
provided you've cid-unlocked,you can flash every rom on the forums as though they were official updates!
good luck!

proper method would be to make sure if you have the phone unlocked first (follow whichever method is indicated on the unlocking thread).
then, flash to an official rom (whether it's the us t-mobile 2.26 or the german/european 3.08). these roms have ipl/spl, radio, and os (wm5) in them.
afterwards flash with the custom rom of your choice. most recent roms on the forum seem to be os only, so you don't have to worry about the other parts (ipl/spl, radio). older wm5 roms use to have ipl/spl integrated in them (faria, molski, xelencin). just make sure you read the corresponding thread by the rom chef for the rom you're looking to upgrade to.
finish off with the radio update. most radio rom flashs are designed to be radio only.
in summary:
unlock --> official t-mobile rom --> custom rom --> radio rom

Success
"Success"
monkey_knight, I already flashed according to duke_stix's procedure: unlock --> official t-mobile rom --> radio rom --> custom rom
All went well and I can't be any happier! This is the best ROM I've seen and to all my friends saying that WM6 is for those 600MHz processors: In your Face!
I feel my MDA is faster on this ROM then the official one!
Thanks a million to all you guys. You are all Cyber-Wizard (Level 255)

[How-To] Install any 2.x ROM in a CID-Locked G3 or G4 Wizard

Hi,
a few days ago i wrote on this forum that i had been able to install an italian ROM on a G4, CID-Locked Wizard. Since then, i've received several mails and PM from users asking me how i did. Instead of replying each one, i though it was better to write a tutorial and post it here for everyone to read/comment/correct it.
Here it is. Together with the tools you'll need to perform the update.
PS: in this tutorial i'm not explaining how to CID-UNlock a G4 or G3 (>= 2.21) phone. There is not yet a way to CID unlock these phones. I'm just describing how to circumvent the CID-lock problem by installing a ROM deprived of the IPL and SPL parts.
DISCLAIMER: THE PROCEDURE I’M GOING TO EXPLAIN DEALS WITH ROM ‘COOKING’ AND THUS IT MAY CAUSE SEVERE DATA LOSS OR EVEN IRREMEDIABLY DAMAGE YOUR DEVICE!
THE AUTHOR, NOR EVERY OTHER PERSON INVOLVED (E.G. THE ROM TOOLS DEVELOPERS), SHALL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY MALFUNCTIONS OR DAMAGES THIS PROCEDURE MAY CAUSE.
By following this tutorial, you're removing both the bootloaders (IPL and SPL) from a rom of your choice. This means that, if you don't make errors while 'cooking' the rom, you cannot completely destroy (brick) your phone. Sure, you could end up with a non-booting rom but, as long as you can get to the three colors screen (the bootloader screen) you'll always be able to install a different (or your previous) working rom.
On the other hand, messing with IPL and SPL (i.e. installing a rom containing IPL and SPL in a CID locked device) is EXTREMELY DANGEROUS and MUST be avoided in most cases!!!
Installing a 2.xx rom without messing with your phone's IPL and SPL is exactly what this tutorial tries to explain.
NEVER INSTALL ROMS OR FOLLOW TUTORIALS IF YOU'RE NOT SURE OF WHAT YOU'RE DOING!!!
ALWAYS ASK BEFORE PROCEEDING! A SIMPLE QUESTION MAY SAVE YOUR PHONE FROM DEATH!
Worked perfect!
Thank you very much for the clear explanation!!! 8)

Leave the CID field empty and specify the language you're installing (ITA for italian, WWE for english).
Hi,
I have installed this SW on my MDA T-mobile:
IPL:2.21.0001
SPL:2.21.0001
GSM:2.19.11
OS:2.21.2.6
EXROM:2.21.2.109
What is the best Italian ROM to flash inside?

This is quite Off Topic here, anyway you can use K-Jam 2.18 italian ROM (find it here: ftp://ftp.clubimate.com/K-JAM_ITA_2180901_21809104_20710_ship.zip)
German to WWE
Worked perfect, no glitches! Thanks for the help!
So is there any issues with using a mismatched ipl/spl bootloader on my G4 equipped O2 mini S?
I really want to install Mr. Clean's Clean ROM, but i am afraid of bricking it.
I have done ROm upgrades before by CID unlocking my old Qtek9100 G3 (but my foolish friend dropped it into a cup of coffeee and killed it).
I will admit, the Mr. CLean Rom was WAY faster than my OE 2.21 ROm on my O2.
Is there anyway to go back and uninstall? Ie. download rom from O2 website to restore it?

You CAN install MrClean AKU2.3 ROM BUT only if you first modify it following my guide: you cannot touch the IPL/SPL parts!!!
There are two reasons for not installing the original, unmodified MrClean ROM:
1) G4 phones cannot be CID unlocked. This means that you can replace their original IPL/SPL ONLY with a newer version made by the very same operator: e.g. if you have a 2.21 WWE T-mobile ROM then you can ONLY update this rom with a version > 2.21 made by T-mobile!!! You CANNOT use any other language nor any other operator's ROMs (cingular's, qtek's, etc).
2) MrClean ROM, as all the other home made ROMs you'll find in this forum, can be installed ONLY in G3 models because it contains only IPL and SPL version 1.0 (G4 phones need version 2.0)
Basically then, you have only 3 choices:
a) Follow my tutorial and be able to install every 2.x ROM you like (both stock ROMs and home made ones, every language, every operator). The only limitation is that you cannot install 1.x ROMs!
b) Install ONLY ROMs that are the OFFICIAL update to the one you have currently installed (e.g. if you have cingular 2.25 WWE rom then you'll be able to update it only when and if, a new, official, wwe, cingular ROM will be released). You won't be able to install a different language ROM nor a ROM made by a different operator, nor a home made ROM (like MrClean).
c) you can CID unlock your G4 wizard using some online service but: it will cost you money and you won't still be able to install home-made ROM 'cos they contain only IPL/SPL version 1.0 (you'll still need IPL/SPL version 2.0)
That said, i strongly suggest you solution (a)! It's free, it's very simple (it may seem complex but after the first time it'll be straight forward), it's the safest (because you don't replace the boot loader IPL and SPL) and it let you install whichever 2.x ROM you like!
Bye
Thank you risidoro,
Yes, i do realize the G4 IPL/SPL must not be altered to prevent from bricking the device.
I will try the Mr. Clean ROM tonight using your tutorial. I guess my only question is, will there be an issue using a 2.21 G4 IPL SPL on a 2.24ROM?
DOes the bootloader actual change with new ROMS?

Bootloader and ROM version numbers usually are the same (so ROM 2.24 should have IPL/SPL 2.24) but they can be different. I've used IPL/SPL 2.21.001 with both 2.18 and 2.24 ROMs.
Maybe newer ROMs, greater than 2.24, will require an updated IPL/SPL so you'll be obliged to CID unlock your phone. By then however, i hope there'll be a free CID unlocking tool for G4.

Thank you risidoro!! I was regretting getting my O2 miniS G4, in place of my broken Qtek 9100 G3.
I will give it a shot tonight. I noticed that the 2.24 ROM was much faster when I used it on my Qtek, over any other ROM.

Thanks for the superfast reply, actually waiting for someone to get me this phone, hopefully this week, wil try it out once I get it.
Using Clean ROM, does it just improve startup time, or does it improve performace of the phone in general ?
Do you have to re-install software after ROM update ?

Upgrading the OS part of a ROM cause your phone to hard reset, so yes, you'll have to reinstall everything. If, on the other hand, you upgrade any other part (GSM, Splash, ExtROM, HTC) but not the OS then you won't loose your data.
MrClean ROM and Summitter's ROM are both very fast. The latter contains cingular's customizations in extROM (they don't slow down the phone, they're mainly registry settings), some ringtones and compact framework 2.0 in ROM. If you're not a cingular user then i suggest you take the OS part from summitter's rom and the extrom from the MrClean. Then join the two parts with nb2nbf and flash to your device.
Bye
Any reason to take Summitter's OS is it faster or something then Mr Clean ?

No. Both summitter and mrclean use the same OS ROM (2.24.10 AKU2.3) hence they have the SAME, IDENTICAL speed.
The difference is that Summitter manually edited the original ROM and added a lot of ringtones, themes and, most important, the .net compact framework 2.0. If you install Summitter OS, then, you'll have the same mrclean basic OS plus a lot of goodies that don't take any space in storage since they're in ROM (compact framework 2.0 alone would take about 5mb of your precious storage if you installed it on mrclean).

Upgrading IPL/SPL help

well long story short I used to have a wizard g3 and in a drunken rage I (with the phone) ended up in a lake. I had that phone fully cid unlocked and my ipl/spl was in the 2.xx range and I had an updated rom and what not. anyways I got the wizard replaced with my insurance thank god and i just got the new one today. now I'm going through updating my rom and such. anyways, I ran the lokwiz tool and sim unlocked and superCID unlocked my phone and I was going to go try some new roms, btw this replacement phone is also a G3 version. and so I came across http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=61997 NEW Custom 2.26 ROM with CF2-SP1 Flash7 Java Rings Themes...
but I was reading on there and it said that my IPL/SPL have to be version 2.xx or higher, now on my old phone it was that way, but on this one its like 1.08 and I dunno how I upgraded them before cause I can't remember. anyways, I've been searching on the forums for a few hours... I'll keep looking, I hate posting for help with out doing some thorough research. thanks for your help in advance.
I did some more reading and I guess the ipl/spl are usually included in new roms and it's just not included on this rom. is there any way to just update your ipl/spl, that would be your bootloader version, right?
screw it I cant just find a bootloader upgrade, doing a full rom upgrade just to get the new bootloader... kinda sucks but ohh well.
thats what I had to do I used the official tmob 2.26 rom which did my ipl/spl - bootloader, then I flashed xelencins 2.26 rom which is like a "tmobile light" cooked rom which I'd reccomend for any tmob usa users.
then I did the radio only to get cingulars radio rom
it worked out fine, the less you flash your bootloader the better, if you f-up a bootloader flash your phone is a brick, your bootloader is the failsafe if a rom update goes bad...

IPL/SPL 2.21 vs. IPL/SPL 2.26

Hi to everyone,
Does anybody know the differences between IPL/SPL 2.21 and 2.26?
As I read in the Wiki section IPL/SPL are the bootloaders of the phone, like the BIOS of our CPU's nada I dont want to mess with that!
Why I'm asking this?...
My PPC is an O2 XDA MiniS AKU2 IPL/SPL 2.21 and want to install Faria's ROM.
I will have to CID-UNLOCK first.
There are 2 threads of cid unlocking:
1) One for AKU2 PPC (call from here THREAD 1)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=263116
2) and other for those who has older rom (call from here THREAD 2).
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=285435
I was going to follow the steps that are include in thread 1 wich recommends to downgrade your rom, cid unlock and then install your manufacturer ROM (mine has IPL/SPL 2.21).
But reading thread 2 I found that is recommendable to have IPL/SPL 2.26 to run cooked ROM's just like Faria's.
The author recommends to install T-Mobile ROM to have strong IPL/SPL 2.26.
Here comes my doubts:
1) Is really necessary upgrading from IPL/SPL 2.21 to 2.26?
2) Will T-Mobile ROM gonna work in my O2 XDA MiniS or is going to screw my pda?
The idea is to get IPL/SPL 2.26 and then flash Faria's ROM.
Sorry if it's a double post, but I really couldnt find the answer.
Thanks in advance,
Paulo

1) not really. But you DO need to flash A carrier rom after downgrading to 1.x to unlock. The reason for this is you need to get your phone back up to AKU2 or higher. The T-Mobile rom is the recommended rom as it has the latest version of the bootloaders.
2) if you CID unlock your phone it will. The whole point of CID unlocking is so that we can flash roms from sources other than our own carriers. Now flashing another carrier's rom or a custom rom you WILL have to set up your GPRS and MMS settings again, they are most definitely different than your carrier's by default, and most custom roms don't include this information as it is easy enough to get from your own provider and many people across many different providers use the roms. Faria has included as many as he has the files for in his rom.

a) good -- Just follow all the steps and you will be successful (make sure your phone is a G3 if you aren't using a pay to unlock website)
b) , c) you only need to flash one of these. Once you are unlocked it doesn't matter which one, they will all get you to a version that you can flash Faria's rom from. Most people recommend the T-Mobile rom as it has the latest bootloaders and is a good base to build from
c) You can do this at any time after you have successfully flashed a carrier rom.

If you unlocked your phone properly with the method for your device type (G3 or G4) it will not hurt your phone to flash any ROM that is compatible with your phone version (G3's can flash most anything without issue, G4's can only flash certain ROMs)

I was using 2.25.11
2.61 shows better performance (speed) downloading and uploading over EDGE.
I live in rural Vermont USA and I can get 140kbps / 40kbps at my house. It used to be 110/30

I live in rural Vermont USA and I can get 140kbps / 40kbps at my house. It used to be 110/30

Where did you find it? I have downloaded it from the thread RADIO ROM 2.61.11
It´s been hosting by Rapishare and the file calls REAL_RADIO_2.61.11
Do you have another link where can I download it?
Can you send me a pm?

[Proven] upgrading IPL/SPL version does affect wizard performance

As a follow up to this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=295915#7
My wizard is G3 and has IPL: 1.01 and SPL: 2.26.
I've seen many people here experienced and posting comments that WM6 Crossbow is "faster and stable" than wm5 and other roms.
At first i cant belive why people say that, because in my case, once i flashed crossbow i always experiencing lockups. Had almost 6x force soft reset because of system not responding.. And Its too slow!.. i cant imagine why other people saying its fast and stable.. Ive used Underground and MostBeautiful crossbow edition but still same result..
I called up may friend which also have a wizard and told him to come here in my house and ill upgrade your wizard to crossbow..
My friend wizard is G3 device and IPL: 2.26 and SPL 2.26 (mine is just 1.01 and 2.26)
when we are done flashing.. ive seen big differences..
indeed!.. WM6 is more stable and faster for his wizard..
Its because his wizard has a newer version of IPL and SPL..
I soon rush to unlock my CID then upgrade my old IPL/SPL to newer 2.26 IPL/SPL
and now i can also say that WM6 CROSSBOW IS MORE STABLE AND FASTER..
no more lockups (maybe less). stable and wow!..
Conclusion:
we have proven that upgrading IPL/SPL version affects the device performance..
Latest IPL/SPL version: 3.08"
question before i tke the plung
can you try 2.25 and 2.26 to see if thier are any diffrences
i recommend you to upgrade to 2.26, its the latest..
As it has been said a lot of time ago, ipl/spl v.1.xx are not allowed for newer versions of os and might cause conflicts...
Also i guessed you had a cid-locked device?!
It's a big luck that you didn't get a brick ignoring this information.
Its because at first i have 2.26 SPL. with that latest SPL even if you have an older IPL you cant brick you device.
I tried flashing Crossbow in my device after ive downgraded my SPL to 1.01, and the result is temporary brick..
temporary because i know how to revive it..
Could anyone post a link to a firmware with version 2.26 of IPL & SPL?
Its an official ROM from t-mobile..
go grab it on their official site..
good luck!
Duh!!!!
I guess someone felt they needed to pass that tidbit of knowledge along ...
.... and people wonder why I drink ...
While this has been stated too, I'll state it in this thread... When you decide to upgrade to a knew ROM, reflash the stable 2.26 (or whatever) version. Yeah it takes extra time but it gives you a clean base.
I was running Faria's 3.3 and it was fantastic. Decided to jump to WM6 Most Beautiful Edition and just loaded that ROM. I had all sorts of problems with stuff. Decided to go back to Faria, but reflashed TMobile 2.26. It hit me I didn't do that before, so I put WM6 MBE back on and its now stable and I don't see all the issues I had before (contact database screwed up, issues with ActiveSync, etc). YMMV, but this taught me to lay a clean base on before moving to a new ROM.
Best advise in all of this? Read and follow (EVERY SINGLE STEP) in Dr. P's thread on CID Unlocking. Its proven, and it works!

no chance without a valid tmo phone number.
got one? ;-)
You dont need any valid t-mobile number..
Ok here's the link..
http://www.t-mobileapps.com/downloadcenter/Software_List.cfm?selDevice=24
It's also in my tutorial (where I specifically say to upgrade IPL AND SPL to 2.26....
sheesh!
Lets reinvent the wheel, no?
.... sometimes this place drives me to drink.... luckily it's a very short drive...
Thanks!
First the link didn't work and redirected me to the phone shop.
Tried the one from the unlock thread, too...
Finally got it now ;-)

IMHO (having tested about every IPL/SPL out there) the only thing you've proven is that 1.x IPL and 2.x SPL (or viceversa) can't live together.
If your phone is CID unlocked, it is STRONGLY SUGGESTED to use 2.x IPL and SPL (preferably the same version for both).
Bye
I dont think it should be STRONGLY SUGGESTED. It should be mandatory that both your IPL and SPL match. People seriously need to read well and see that it says if you get 1.xx and 2.xx flash phone again till both are 2.xx. so simple. "Just set it, and forget it". hahaha. just wanted to use that line. but anyways so simple and thorough reading should get you by my friend. and yes i use this as an excuse to go drink also ;-)

Suggestions Please

Hello all,
I recently inherited an HTC Wizard (Cingular 8125), IPL/SPL 2.25 (So its a G3 right?) running WM5. Ive been doing a lot of reading over the last week or so and have decided that this phone is just too boring as is.
Ive been looking over all of the roms/themes that I can find to spice it up and have narrowed it down to a few. But before I start messing with it, I have decided to run it by all of you and get your opininons.
From what I understand, before I can load any roms, I need to CID unkock the phone, which will require me to first load the Button 1.05 Rom (can I load the Button Rom with the phone locked?). Then I will run Lokiwiz02b to unlock it. Reload Button 1.05 if IPL/SPL are not both 1.05. Then load the T-Mobile 2.26 for a solid foundation. (I will be working step by step off Dr. Puttingham's Definitive Guide to Unlocking and Rom Upgrading G3 Wizards.)
If my process above is incorrect, please let me know. I will hate to brick a phone I just got.
Next I am considering which rom to install. I really like TouchFlo and am strongly considering TNT Pro, SNN Diamond and Black Diamond 3.1. I want this phone to have a sleek interface and lots of functionality (extras) and it needs to be quite bug free; if it crashes everytime I try some routine task it will not be worth doing.
Here are the files that I have and how I will use them.
Wizard_Button_Rom.exe
-I will run this first to downgrade my current rom to 1.05.
-I will likely run it again after the CID unlocking to match IPL/SPL @ 1.05.
lokiwiz02b.zip
-This is run after the Button Rom as per instructions from Dr. Puttingham to CID Unlock the phone.
ruu_prodigy_226102_22610105_022511_tmous_wwe_ship. exe
-This is the T-mobile 2.26 rom which will be installed after the phone is @ IPL/SPL 1.05 and CID Unlocked.
Question: Will this rom install a bunch of T Mobile Crap? I know the Cingular/Att Roms always have a bunch of stuff to get you to sign up for and spend your money on things you dont want. Making your home screen ugly.
IPL_SPL_3.08.rar
-I do have this file, but don't plan on using it. Is there any reason why I should? It was mentioned in Dr. Puttinghams guide as an alternate option to the T-Mobile Rom but the file size is 1:100th the size so I dont understand how it could replace it.
Next is the final Rom.
I have 3 versions of TNT:
TNT.19199_Professional_Wizard.rar
TNT.19209_Professional_Wizard_TouchFlo_FREE[www.ppcplanet.net].rar
TNT.20273_Professional_Wizard_HTC_Home_FREE.rar
Black Diamond:
BlackDiamond_3.1_Touch.rar
SNN Diamond:
SNN_Diamond.rar
Does anyone have any suggestions on which rom to choose? They all seem good to me.
Can anyone verify my steps above? Have I omitted anything or are there any steps that I can omit? (Like the T-Mobile 2.26 Rom.)
I plan on using this phone in the US through ATT. Will there be any conflicts with these roms?
Thank you guys so much. Especially you chefs!
-Steve
Unlock Necessary?
Is it even necessary to unlock the phone? I plan on using it on the same network it was designed for and I believe that these roms do not effect the the IPL/SPL.
There is just so much information and so many possibilities that I am having a hard time figuring out what info is for me and what is not.
Of course I would like to move away from WM5 and on to WM6.1.
Search for the Wizard Service Tool, it will CID unlock your phone, I did mine.
I downloaded the file WST_v4.2.2.zip. I am waiting on the Data Cable so I will be unlocking in a day or so. After unlocking with this program, my phone will be exactly as is, but unlocked correct? There will be no need to go through the downgrade then upgrade steps?
Since you have a G3, you must do the following:
Actual Status: IPL/SPL 2.xx
Download and flash Button 1.05 - to downgrade
IPL/SPL 1.05 will be your status after that
Download to your PC WST -Wizard Service Tool (can be used only with IPL/SPL 1.xx)
Follow the instructions
Unlock CID - you must be Supercid after that
Unlock SIM - If you want
Download and flash carrier rom you must be 2.xx after that
and then, you are able to flash any cooked rom you want
Do the steps...
Yes your steps are great understanded so do it!!!!
Answers to your questions....
1.- YES YOU HAVE A G3
2.- YES YOU CAN LOAD BUTTON ROM WITH A LOCKED CID/SIM
3.- ALL ORIGINAL ROMS HAVE THIS KIND OF STUFF 2.26 LESS THAN 3.08
4.- NO A STRONG REASON TO FLASH WITH 3.08 OR 2.26 IS THE SAME (...Well not the same the 3.08 WM5 original rom has push email and 2.26 dont has it, the diference betwen this is not important to flash a WM6 or 6.1)
5.- TNTs rom... try the TNT .20273 but beta 3 is better just click on the Mr TNT's picture and search it. About all roms the one that has less issues is this WM6.1 new icons and diamond style!!!! personaly I dislike the other but I can tell you and its for sure!!!!! you will reflash your phone to much times searching for the one that match to your convenience... all of we do it so... your PDA will crash so much times untill you get the one that matches to you... Like GIRLS MEN!!!!!!!!
You are ready to reflash your PDA...
I extremely recomend you to unlock your PDA Totally for all the ROMS. the signal will change is normaly... so remember the Radio Version GSM on ipl and spl Screen at boots, wich one you have now, and try search it... or get other that works ... of course if you have troubles.
Please edit your profile to see more info about your device and can help you eficiently.
