Seriously though, it can't be used for the Wizard. Two totally different beasts.

Can you interpret the most important parts for us? (If there are any)
What I gather from my spotty mandarin, these guys managed to get their hands on an internal version of WM6 and have flashed it onto their devices.
Will read more and find out.
Managed to snag some photos by signing up at their forums...
Apparently its a chinese version of WM6 from Dopod...
This dude twinsdove mentions that WM6's speed is way better than WM5's...
Google is your best friend and also your enemy. Just use it the right way and everything is priceless...

It makes them sound really communistic. Haha.
Still, having a knowledge of mandarin as a second language helps a lot.
It'd be really nice to see WM6 on our BA's!!
Will we be seeing a release of the base OS so people will be able to create their own froms from this? (Sorry, but google is playing up and I don't have enough time to use babelfish and read everything in that thread).
Best of luck Winyong!
Nice to see more enthusiasts, but it is almost impossible to make crossbow works fine on blueangel (remember Motorola MPX200 and WM5) it will be something like this, but (there is always but) you will all have problems with porting crossbow core
Crossbow download, Download Link provide
The original thread does not exist anymore, I have no idea it was deleted by the poster or the Admin. of the site. Here is the new Link. You can download
18 rar files from it.
http://bbs.pdafans.com/thread-313480-1-3.html
P.S. The Rom is for Wizard, Not BA.
@lukecheng - I can't seem to find those 18 rars. Could you upload them to the FTP?

Apologies Vijay, I wasn't really thinking there. Good catch.

According to the *highly* ;-) reliable news source that is msmobiles.com, a universal rom has been leaked.
Looks like their highly patronising style of journalism strikes again, as the last time I checked came under the following category, but searching revealed nothing (EDIT until I went to Universal Upgrading forum) not that I have a Universal but was intrigued nonetheless.
"(but any Internet user who knows how to use search engines can find it easily)" - msmobiles
Am I right in thinking that if Crossbow ROMS turn up for other devices like Universal, then a port to BlueAngel is possible?

Hello Everyone!

hey everyone, this is my first post here ive been reading up on this forum for a week now and ive learned more stuff about my phone than i ever could otherwise! i have an o2 xda thats g4 and im trying to put most beautiful on it, thru the shelltool but it hangs at the o2 splash screen now so im downloading the original shipped o2 rom for it, thatll fix it right? cause i installed the crossbow rom by faria a couple days ago and it worked like a charm but being curious and all about all this i HAD to try this new one and now my phone hangs, simultaneously my friend who has a kjam, also had crossbow put in by me, and then i flashed his crossbow for most beautiful which let to his phone hangup, reading more i downloaded buttons rom and cid unlocked his g3 phone which worked like a cinch and now hes happy with most beautiful and im trying to get it on my phone as well. anyways i have three questions
firstly, whats the difference between radio roms and adn the ones made by faria and all? is raio rom just for the mobile half of the xda? and where can i get the original wm6 for my phone? and lastly which one do u personally th ink is the best and most complete wm6 rom on this forum
Thanks

Look around in the "Wizard Mobile 6" forums -> http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=356
IMHO it's not really worth it, WM6 is rather sluggisch on the Wizard, but hey, you can switch back whenever you want it's has some good things I guess, better support for this and that.. but just try to get your own bearings in the appropriate forums.. I noticed that liking or disliking WM6 is kinda personal......

Have you ever tried TNT 5.0 with 8MB of pagepool? That's a ROM you can't call sluggish even without over clocking...
hi mestrini
i have been having an issue with my imate kjam g4. i have tried a number or roms in order to upgrade it to Wm6 however if gives me an error of Windows\autoconfid does not exist. i am not sure what i am doing wrong. i have tried the CID unlock and that doesnt help. is there anything that i can do in order to upgrade from wm5 to wm6.

Hmmmm,
Although,I can answer this very precisely, and I'm tempted to,but I'll just say that after 236 posts, you still can't find official carrier's wm5 rom of your phone, that's even more Sick !
Cheers!
What does posts have to do with this?
why don't try finding it? maybe you'll know what i mean.
I did my search fool. i'm not some asshole that made a new topic to make others search it for me.
I looked on the HTC site and i looked on the XDA FTP.
I Can't find the latests WM5 rom for the 8125 that uses Tmo.

That proves it ! Never heard of a latest wm5 8125 Rom that uses Tmo.Posts have got everything, with that number of posts, you shud have known, there's no such Rom. Cingular 8125 and T-mobile MDA are basically same devices build by HTC.Any Wizard wm5 rom, either from cingular or T-mobile will flash and work perfectly on it.You searched you never found it,just a 'Hint' , you'll find all the latest official wm5 stock roms here,"Read the freaki'n forum":-

Secondly,I wud rather advise you to check your language, abusive words won't get you anywhere.I can also be very abusive, but I prefer to be polite, respectfull and calm. This Forum doesn't encourage and promote abusive and hostile attitude, you might get penalized if reported or 'Moderator' finds out. Be careful there.
thank you for the link.
I know either frimware can be used on the 8125, but i wanted the most stable one for the 8125 and used the t-mo frimware. because for most of the frimware i tested shows t-mo on the load screen. for the ones that doesn't show t-mo it wasn't that stable with my network.
Also, was not being hostile or abusive to you. unless you consider the word "fool" as abusive. then im sorry, I say the word Fool often to people.
and i didn't call you an asshole if thats that's what you're thinking, I was simply implying i wasn't one. and people that usually ask without searching are.
so no need to feel offending.
anyway, thanks for the link. and i don't see how posts costs for experience. Most of my posts are asking questions in topics.
if you want to know why i'm sick of WM6 frimwares, here are the main reasons:
*phone hangs when i'm doing something, and then a call comes in.
*typing too fast on the keypad or keyboard will case the phone to soft reset, like typing an email reply.
*the phone hangs when an alarm starts and I never get to hear my alarm.

[OFF TOPIC] using Kaiser flashing process for Wizard

Hi,
I have an old Cingular 8125 lying around the house not being use and I want to flash it with Android. There is no instruction anywhere in Wizard forum.
Since Wizard and Kaiser seem to be running on the similar bases (WM6.x) Can I use the same process with the SPL/radio and ROM from Kaiser to flash it on my 8125? Or, is that a NO! NO!? Just wondering...
No. HTC Wizard has a completely different hardware. If you flash the kernel intended for the Kaiser (assuming that it is possible) you get brick.
However, there is a thread on xda for a Wizard. Check this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=403015 or google for project named Wing-Linux.
Thank you for responding, guess I won't be doing it this way then.
I'll see what I can do with Wing-Linux.
Off topic indeed, but you found another Wizard lover!
Contact Ham3r - he has done some pretty serious experimentation with Wing Linux. I think that the project is totally dead now. Ham3r's WM ROMs are the best English ROMs for that device.
I keep two Wizards around. The hardware is quite obsolete by now, but it rocked for 2005.
Yes it is.
Thanks n2rjt. Yea, I noticed that myself. And too scare to use it. There was no action on Wing-Linux at all.
