My charmer is Bricked, please help

I have a T-Mobile Compact II which has turned into a brick.
I Flashed the ROM with the HTC Touch ROM which run perfectly, no problems at all. Then i found a newer version of the same software, which Flashed the ROM (no problems encountered on the PC Screen) but when i come to hard reset the device it sticks at boot screen with the following
IPL 2.06
SPL 2.06.0000
GSM 02.19.21
OS 6.0.0.0
and will not go any further
I have tried the boot load (powering up with camera button pressed)
and get the following
IPL 2.06
SPL 2.06
USB
On the 3 colour screen.
i know the PC sees the device but cant get any communication to or from the device with active sync
Any ideas how to restore this fault.

i have sorted my problem out. It turns out that i could not repair through a PC running Vista. Sorted on a XP machine

Bricked My Mda Compact 2
Last night I flashed my MDA Compact II with a ROM in this forum. It's from the thread: Tuning ROM 2.6.2.27 MDA CHARMER(MDA COMPACT II). The ROM update seemed to go okay, but now the Charmer won't boot. All I get is the splash screen, which says:
IPL 1.12
SPL 1.12.0000
OS 2.6.2.27
the i was told by a senior menber to flash it with BUTTON 1.05 (which i did)
and now BATTERY IS NOT CHARGING
and now i have
ipl 1.01
spl 1.12.000
gsm 01.12.10
os 1.5.4.2
NOW I HAVE REALISED THAT I HAVE USED ALL WIZARD FILES ON CHARMER WHICH IS THE ROOT CAUSE OF ABOVE MESS.
i have checked usb cable , main power charger with other pda and it was working ok , i have charged my battery on external charger.
MDA compact is not recognizes if battery
can it be a problem with registry ?

Charmer dead. any solution?

have a charmer. I tried to put wm6. but spl and ipl was 1.12. the phone start up and hang when installing some cabs. i restart ir and it allways crashes at t-mobile logo. i updated the rom to aku 3.3. all ok. but continues chashing on t-mobile logo. i try a hard reset. gives me a fat error. I try to put the rom from prophet to try to format it. but that rom upgrade reach 95% and stop. give me a error. this nbf file cannot be used to upgrade this device. I tryed all types of roms. most of them crashes at some point and give me that error. the rom aku 3.3 german and wwe, install perfect. I think that is the only roms I can send to my charmer. but i can´t format whith that rom, fat error. I have 3.08 spl ipl 1.12 because i sent an old charmer rom. ipl downgrade, but spl don´t. do you think my device can be protected?? I dont know that to do more, to bring the charmer back to life. will sd card method work? please help me.

Charmer dead after wm6 update whitout cid unlocking

i have the same problem.
iam stuped and make an wm6 update from ipl1.12 and i have forgot to cid unlock my charmer.
after the update to wm6 all looks like good. the bootscreen from wm6 i have see.
after the reset the charmer hangs at slashscreen.
now i make a update to aku 3.3 ger.
that works but hangs in the t-mobile spaschscreen.
i have tray all downgrading methodes i have read here but nothing works.
jet i have a ipl 1.12. and spl 3.08.
I think only a sd-card rom update works. but i dont have found an sd-card rom to use.
sorry to my bad english.
please can anybody help me?

Hi, I have a similar may be the same problem!
My phone is a German t-mobile mda compact 2
First I work with “lokiwiz v.02” to unlock the SIM, and it works really well.
Then I installed “Charmer_Touch_ver._2.1” and I could calibrate the screen, and after that Win Mobile 6 installed all the extra stuff automatically. After that the device made a reboot, but it stop at the t-mobile boot screen.
Because the bootload modus is still running, I installed the newest original t-mobile software “RUU_compactII_AKU3.3_38222_382117_026921R_TMO_DE_GER_Ship” but this also didn’t solve the problem.
Hard reset didn't work and always says "Format is
The Start screen shows me this information:
IPL 3.08
SPL 3.08.0000
GSM 02.69.21
OS 3.8.2.22
Is my phone really dead or could someone tell me a trick to reactivate it?

I think noone have a solution for us. I tried to send commands to phone whith mtty. and I can´t send. I don´t know why. so f we cannot send commands the sd card method will not work too. the only olution is to jtag the charmer. but can´t find any pinout information. if anyone knows this informtion, please help.

Is my K-Jam totally bricked?

Is my K-Jam totally bricked?
It is now stuck up in bootloader screen.
I am able to swtch it off with power button. I can also have first flash screen.
On connecting with USB port, it shows yellow light indicating that it is charging & that over a period of time, goes green.
Earlier I had flashed TNT ROM but while reflashing newer it got stuck up as after flashing, I tried to hard reset [mistakenly thought ROM is flushed fully] & could not go further after initail first screen.
Other details:
IPL:2.16
SPL:2.16
GSM:02.07.10
O.S.:11.0.0.2
May some one help?

Nopes ! its not 'Bricked' just had a bad flash. As long as it gets into bootloaders ,its perfectly safe. Perhaps,your phone is not CID unlocked ?
Download the official carrier's rom from its website and flash it in the bootloaders,it'll start to work fine.Then read the guide to cid unlock and upgrade.

i am having serious problems with my kjam.i installed black diamond's rom and now my phone boots upto the splash screen where it shows window mobile 6 and gets stuck there.
i have tried a soft spl, but it doesnt help as the phone cant connect or move from the splash screen.also, i can make call or do anything with the phone.
can someone assist me and also point me to a place where i can find the lastest tnt rom.

Always post vital data of the phone,which is your device G3 or G4.Have you Tried Soft Reset or Hard Reset.it sometimes help.
Well,if it's a G3,is it SIM/CID unlocked,cuz its required to get the phone CID unlocked to upgrade to wm6,but if its a G4,then use method 'SoftSPL' or 'HardSPL' as it cannot be CID unlocked.
Post IPL/SPL...? of the phone here.

'Hard Reset' the phone,hope it'll work fine.
Well,I assume,you cudn't do the SoftSPL correctly the first time,try to apply the SpftSPL again correctly,if it works,ok,otherwise you can upgrade to wm6 with HardSPL method.

O2 XDA 3 DE - failed upgrade on WM6.0 - need help pls

Hello,
I have a serious problem.
I've got a HTC blue angel PPC (O2 branded version XDA 3 from Germany)...
This PPC has a WM 2003 SE with GER localization. And i want to reflash on WM 6.0 in english.
Now i know, that i made beginners mistakes.
1) was i tried to flash wm6.0 under Windows Vista x64 with WMDC.
2) was i tried to flash english version of ROM on german localized PDA (which was unfortunately locked)
3) and i am such idiot, because i don't backup original ROM!!!
After this steps i turned on this PDA. I saw 4 coloured strips. And that's all... Since this time I can see only this stripes (after turn on) and on this screen i see only R 1.10.00 and not G or D parameters.
After all i tryed next things which crossed my mind.
Under the Win XPSP2 i tried to reflash it again.
1) to WM 6 - and i almost got country error
2) back to WM 2003SE, but english. I got country error or it was not function.
3) i tried to download ROM upgrade from DE.o2.com (German version of upgrade) and i got country error.
Now i don't know how to restore this device after my fatal advances.
Please help me, if you can...

UpGrade ROM

Hello everybody !
I have a G4 Wizard (Qtek A9100) and I'm trying to update its ROM after read a lot of topics on XDA-Developers (Wizard Windows Mobile 6 for newbies), GFórum and PlusGMS fórum.
IPL: 2.22.0001
SPL: 2.22.0001
GSM: 02.46.11
OS: 2.22.17.1
I already used two diferent chips from two diferent telephone companies which means SIM is unlocked (is that right ?)
After sometime reading I concluded that CIM was locked.
I downloaded HardSPL software and run yesterday.
Now, after HardSPL
IPL: 2.21.0001
SPL: 2.21.Olip
I believe that now CID is unlocked. (Is that right ?)
Then I used RUU from three different ROMs and the same error appears:
ERROR 300: Invalid Update Tool.
"This Update utility cannot be used for your PDA Phone.Please get newer Update Utility"
What does it means ?
What is wrong ?

Replace the RUU in the Rom with the Mun's RUU provided in the HardSPL thread and run that RUU,it'll work.

Now it time to learn about WM 6.1 and the new ROM features.
I flashed with Diamond Edition. I know there were a lot of ROMs to be used but this one has info safe for G4...
Does CID unlocked even after the flash I made or if I intent to flash another ROM I need to CID unlock again ? As I used HardSPL I understand it is unlocked.

Thanks! you are most welcome.Yes! it'll will remain semi-permanent Cid unlocked,untill you remove HardSPL,you do not have to apply HardSPL everytime you flash a new rom,just flash as many roms as you wish straight away

Now with the new WM 6.1 several questions come up...
1. When I start the Smartphone, a number appears on left upper corner (72410). What does it means ?
2. Wizard doesn't has internat GPS. I have a Deluo GPS antena and I use Destinator software.
Bluetooth is working once Deluo blue light is not flashing (if it is flashing means bluetooth is not connected), but I couldn't until now start using GPS because antena can't find much satellites. There is a set up on Destinator software to configure the GPS but on WM6.1 there is a GPS icon too. Do you know if I need to configure something on WM 6.1 ?
3. Some softwares I had installed on my Storage Card doesn't appears (ShortCut) but they are running when I run using file manager. How can I add these shortcuts on Programs area ?
4. The Wheater tab brings me temperatures in F. Is is possible to configure it to bring in C ?
I noted that battery goes down faster than when I was using WM 5.0 Is it normal ? Is it related to the version of the ROM ?
What differs one ROM from another ROM (considering WM 6.1) ?
I'm sorry for the questions but I'm trying to learn...

Hello,
Some of the problems above I solved, but now I'm facing a serious problem with sync.
I use a Notebook (XP) @ work and another (Vista) @ home.
Everytime I sync with one of them, the other doesn't sync and vice-versa.
What is happening ?

Synch problem
Hello everybody,
I'm still facing synch problems.
Now one more problem come up: Fail to synch due to a register on calendar.
I deleted it on Wizard and on Notebook. Still happening.
Removed and instaled ActiveSync.
Still happening, but this register doesn't exist anymore !
What is happening ? What can I do to fix it and sync with Vista and XP on both Notebooks ?
