Big problems with my Wizard (MDA Vario) - Flash Problem

Hi i have huge problem with my wizard.
Well i bought MDA Vario in germany so WM5 was german but i dont understand german (well maybe , ja and nien ) so i discover this site .. very nice and full of information but when i did a search and i didt find similar problem so here is my problem.
I updated my phone with Qtek_9100_1_6_7_ENG__OS_ONLY and now every time i power on the phone i see (three color) display and some text IPL 2.21.0001 and SPL 2.21.0001 and thats all (when i connect USB i see text in bottom left corner - USB).
If i want to update with for exmple:AKU_3.2_by_ell_3.32.2 my update goes to 99% and thats all (Update tool on PC is 100%).
And when i take the battery out and in again i see three-color display again :S.
What software do i need to use to get my PPC (MDA Vario) working again?
Can i fix this problem my self or i need to take it to the profesional repairman?

You have G4 Wizard (IPL/SPL like 2.x.001), so you can only flash ROM without IPL/SPL. And now you can see bootloader (utility for flashing ROM). That ROM, you used, is not for your device, that's why you can see bootloader now. You need rom without IPL/SPL. ELL's ROM AKU 3.2 is very unstable, and it is not for your device too, don't use it. I can recommend Molski's ROM - www.molski.biz
SO, what to do:
1. download new ROM - http://www.molski.biz/downloads/roms/RUU_Molski.Biz_226102_22610105_022511_G4_WWE-30MB.exe - it is ROM for your Wizard.
2.Turn on, your Wizard - you will see your "three colors" screen - bootloader
3.Connect your Wizard to usb cable and start flashing. It will stay at 98% for a few minutes, don't disconnect it.
This ROM works fine. Give some feedback, after flashing this one.

Jst One little question.
Is there a list of G4 Roms available?
I know for FPT of XDA but some roms are not labled G4,or G3.
So wich ROMS are for G4 Devices.

If the rom is not speciffically labeled as g4 then it is a g3...g4 is relatively new stuff so in the old times roms where not separated in g3/g4..

as is said above i would recommend molski's ROMs ive had 2 of them both excellent and highly stable and he clearly labels them so if u need to upgrade its obvious which file u need

No, there is no list of G4 ROMs (I think) You need ROM without IPL/SPL.G4 Wizard is IPL/SPL like 2.x.001, and G3 like 2.xx. So, you will have to look for ROMs without it. But Molski's ROM is one of the lastest, and works fine. If you want any other ROM, try to search here, but on ftp there is no list of ROMs for G4

HELP needed changing ROM after installing Molski (2.26.10.2) AKU2.3 ROM

Hi there,
After I installed Molski's 2.26.10.2 AKU2.3 ROM I can't seem to upgrade/downgrade to another ROM. After starting the update utility my screen went black, the update tool stalled at 0% with error [260] UPDATE ERROR and the only way to reset was to remove the battery.
My specs right now are:
T-Mobile Vario G3 (G3 yes!) Wizard
IPL 2.26
SPL 2.26
GSM 02.47.11
OS 2.26.10.2
I tried getting into the bootloader by pressing and holding either one or both of the righthand buttons and a soft reset, but then the screen goes blank (black) as well with the removal of the battery as only option.
I also tried to install button's 1/05 ROM without succes (same 260 error).
I also reinstalled Windows XP + MS ActiveSync 4.1 just to rule that part out, but even then no luck!!
I flashed my PDA on several occassions using different ROMS each time, but this is the first time it doesn't work . Perhaps something to do with the bootloader?
Any help would really be appreciated!

You shouldn't go back to the 1.05 unless you need to downgrade your IPL/SPL for some reason or another...
I'd try the T-Mobile 2.26. (That's what I do when changing ROM's, because when I see the T-Mobile splash I KNOW that all parts of the previous ROM are gone.)
Always works for me, YMMV though ...

after downgrading to buttons 1.05 rom and used lokiwiz to cid and simlock unlock my vario g3 i flashed it to t-mobile 2.26 after that i flashed it to crossbow reloaded v 1.7 but got alot of glitches with the keypad and the alarmclock did not work at all so i wanted to try another versin but i cant get activesync to work,no connection no nothing....also starting up in bootloader with soft reset and camera gives me a nice colourfull screenie but no usb text at the bottom so can i get another version on my mda or did i bust it up big time lol

What are your current IPL, SPL, GSM and OS versions? Your description makes it sound like there is a conflict, though you said you did flash the T-Mobile 2.26 prior to your WM6. Maybe you flashed a modded one that doesn't have IPL/SPL? Does the radio/phone part of your device work?
Don't worry about activesync. Just boot into bootloader (see the wiki if you don't know how) and flash from there as long as USB shows in the corner you are connected. Your issue may be as simple as a bad flash of the rom you are trying to flash. I would suggest re-downloading it and trying again if both your IPL and SPL are 2.26. (or picking a different WM6 rom)
Ok just saw that you aren't getting USB on your bootloader screen you can always try the SD card method. I myself have never done it but many people have revived their devices using this method. Wish I could be of more help.
Also just in case you haven't done this already: reboot the PC. If you haven't upgraded to ActiveSync 4.5 I think you need to do that before you can get a connection in WM6. Google Activesync 4.5 and you should get the MS download page. Download that and install it and that may fix your issues.

ive tried to reboot the pc and upgraded my activesync offcourse the rom cant be flashed from sd card i get a error when i try this also the usb is not working my ipl and spl are both 2.26 gsm 025.11 os 2.18.00
crossbow is still starting propperly but there is no way i can upgrade/downgrade

Please Help Me to Fix O2 Wizard

I have tried to upgade my O2 XDA Mini S (WIZARD) with Faria Crossbow 6 Rom.
It was loading fine till it hit 99% and got stuck there.
Now all i get after i soft reset it is three color screen and i have tried several times to run faria's rom it gets stuck at 99%.
How can I fix this. Can someone please help me

when I connect USB Cable it shows "USB" at the bottom of 3 color striped screen.
As I have tried to upgrade it to Faria Crossbow Mobile 6. I have tried to load Xda_MiniS_LaunchROM_v154102 but it gives me an error. I guess i have to down grade it to windows mobile 5 to run Xda_MiniS_LaunchROM_v154102. Which I dont know how can i do that with it being Stuck at 3 Striped color screen.
Your help is urgently needed.

Put it in the cradle, if activesync pops up, just cancel. Install an original rom to get it working first.

Hi All, tried to updrade charmer to touch flo ver2.1 but had error that host disconnected, now will only boot to tmobile splash screen with this info (noticed os has changed but cant remember original) also tried soft and hard resets to no avail

I can also boot to the three colour screen and it recognises when the usb is plugged in but i cant seem to flash anything, i have tried a number of RUU but get different error messages, mostly that i need a newer upgrade tool or invalid vendor etc.

UPDATE: managed to flash this rom, (charmer_wm6_vlono_004.4) says all was ok but still stuck in tmobile boot screen??? info still the same

UPDATE: Managed to load latest tmobile charmer rom RUU_Charmer_38221_382116_026921_TMO_UK_WWE_Ship.exe

i got the same problem and i fixed it^^
1. i started charmer in bootloader mode (press and hold power button while you reset with stylus)
2. i installed T-Mobile AKU 3.3 from handy-faq.de
3. i installed [vlodeck TouchFLO WM6 ver. 2.1]
works perfect^^

oh yeah.. i forgot

I used a crude method of fully charging the battery. I downgraded to the default T-mobile ROM that came with the unit. After the flashing process, was complete, the unit rebooted (as it was supposed to), then switched itself off after showing the SPL/IPL data for about 3 seconds.
The battery, was fully charged in a universal charger. To get it to turn on again, I have to remove the battery for a few seconds. A hard reset, doesn't fix the problem. I can still enter the boot-loader though
I've tried all the various ROM files on this site, with no success. Any suggestions?

I've PMed you saying that you can try flashing WM5 prophet rom. It should work.
