Unable to use MMS since upgrade to WM5

Hello everyone,
I performed an upgrade to WM5 on my Orange M2000 on Sunday (September 11th). By the way, I think WM5 is an awesome piece of OS. However, after getting everything to work, I can't seem to be able to configure MMS messenging.
GPRS and SMS work fine. But unlike WM 2003 second edition, MMS container doesn't come up when I go into messenging like SMS and Outlook and I'm not getting any option to configure it.
Does any know how I can get around this? MMS is an integral part of my Blue Angel. Please Help!!! :?:
WM5 - MMS Client Inside WORKING!

Qtek 2020i - ROM 1.11.00 WWE - No MMS Composer

Recently bought a qtek 2020i. All (rf, blue, wifi, gprs, voice, ...) works fine. However, no MMS Composer soft is to be found on the device. When capturing photo, the MMS Send option directs me to an email interface.
Operator Proximus in Belgium cannot help me. Maybe, you guys/girls can.
Thanks in advance, and Regards,
I have friend who has the qtek 2020i and I have an XDAIIi. I have looked at my friends and his set-up is the same as mine. The Microsoft Standard Messaging interface is common for, text/email/mms. If you send a captured photo, messaging should open up in MMS mode. To manually create a message in directly from messaging. You'll see Accounts on the bottom page, tap and you can select from tex/email/mms, select mms and create your message. These do not come with any other MMS software as standard.
Also please find attached a cab file, for automatic installilation of Proximus GPRS/WAP/MMS which you copy to your qtek and tap to install. I know you said it is already installed, its just in case you may need it.
Got it. Thanks.
MMS ok now.

MMS for T-Mobile

I have reverted back to my XDA IIs whilst my Vario II is being repaired. I have managed to set up the GPRS connection and I am browsing the web without any issues. I cannot however access MMS.
Is there issues with MMS on this handset with T-Mobile? The helpdesk seemed to think that it required 'WAP 2'
Cheers
Aidan
install mms enable (however what type of rom do U have?)
Hi Nyuszi,
The ROM is the i-mate v1.40.00 WWE
Included with the ROM is MMS Composer Version 2.0.0.23
Would you recommend mms enable rather than this? Where will I find it?
Thanks
Aidan
well i tought U have a wm5 rom...so anyway i think you won't need it...all you have to do, is to set the parameters for mms...probably U would find it on your service providers homepage (cuz mms communicates on gprs...usually you have to set up a new connection profile and a modem at connections)
Aidan try to flash T-Mobile rom, and all T-Mobile settings are predefined in their roms

wap push on htc p4350

Can anybody tell me how to enable WAP-Push on my herald?
WAP push? Do you mean push mail through a "wap" connection? (Read:T-zones.)
i mean (sms) messages with wap-links. what are t-zones?
T-Zone's is what Tmobile calls their WAP plan.
So you're getting SMS with links to wap sites but are unable to click on them?
my provider is e-plus (germany) - they call it handy mail.
when a new email comes in my herald wake up, all ligthts are blinking on time but no message appears. there is no sms with any link.
i think it´s a problem with the security of windows mobile...

Alternate SMS/MMS App

Hi guys
I'm in the UK and I send a lot of MMS to the US as I don't get charged for sending them because it comes out of my data allowance. I'm finding the WM6.1 Arcsoft client a huge pain in the ass to work with when sending MMS Messages. Does anyone know of any other MMS client that I can use whether it's free or something I have to buy doesn't make a difference.
With the Arcsoft WM6 MMS if I send an MMS with text only it does annoying things like prompt you "this message has no media would you like to send it as text?" which gets annoying after the first 100 times...
