USB doesn't stop working only because a certain software was installed! There must be something else.
and NO, it's not possible to flash via SD card unless it's an image from your own phone.

yeah, its true!! what we did is install a nintendo games emulator and it
did stop.. after a reset, the radio rom isnt working anymore..
the unit is no longer detected in other computers too..

I know this is obvious, but did you try to uninstall the emulator?

Ahhh, the radio isn't working maybe because you messed up the RIL.dll which is also needed for RAPI communications.
I think you must flash a new ROM via bootloader to get things they were before

i have tried to update my htc with a new . after several times it start to upadate while it stopped at 2% and told me connection error. i tried to start on my htc and now it says "you have illegally gained this rom, this rom is only for ace-hellas"

flashing migh work but i dont have an sd card.
and yes i have tried to run sspl in device and it didnt worked.

There's a way to add an external camera(at least I heard there is), so pending that's true, why wouldn't there be? You'd just have to come up with a proper way of adapting it.
Than again, I'm not sure if there are or aren't specific drivers in one that aren't in the other. I personally would like to find out for sure.

yes i think it is because the kaiser doesn't have a built-in host-controller for usb as edi said.
The Celio Redfly would give USB host capability to the Kaiser, maybe try installing to drivers here.

u cant use ur kaiser to replace windows os
so u cant connect kaiser to hdd or any other devices

the idea is to browse the hdd ot flash not to boot from them
Couldn't somebody try extracting the drivers from said Toshiba PDA that would make it possible to use the USB to hook up an external drive?

No, it can't be done,
Usb Host functionality is not just a piece of software you simply can install.
If there's no USB host controller in the Hardware you can install whatever you want.
If it can NOT be done why do some of you say IT CAN BE DONE ???
I think it could be done because frankly people are always seeming to make hardware do what it wasn't designed to do.
You need a USB-Host Controller ... Kaiser dont have it ...

There's a demo if you only need it once (or to test it works).
It's the only one I've had working.
Other than that your stuck with crappy active sync I think

My m1000 is able to sync but when i put it in boot loader it dont show USB instead of serial. Even the device manger does not show any phone device. So any help anyone?

Are you using Windows XP or any newer?
I hv tried three cradles and also XP, Vista and W7.And diffrent computers too. but no luck.
The contacts might have decided to not work in bootloader.

I guess, you use a USB-crandle, not a serial one. You might have a damaged bootloader !?!

try to make manual synch then install netframework, for me SD method never worked, i always flash with pc method,
and last thing: I actually use Dynamics rom, is the best I tried with NRG and x826
also try deleting net framework from pc than relaunch for making it install on pc and on phone together (that worked for me)
i don't think flashing hardspl over stockspl via sdcard works. hardspl 0.72 used a special exe, not suitable for everything else.
flashing hardspl 0.78 over hardspl 0.72 via sd works fine. and no, stockspl 0.78 doesn't make it any harder, i got it back from service 2 times with it.
but i already told you, you need a fully working connection with activesync first for usb-flash to work. (device center from Vista onwards), you might need to search for usb-drivers for x1 first (which also allow the pc recognize the phone if you attach it in bootloader-mode).
iirc, after starting flash-process with winmo running, there was a popup on stockrom if you really want to let some exe reboot the phone (to enter bootloader).
yes you need to fully synchronize with a server or pc
server doesn't have to do anything with it.
and no, he doesn't need to do a full sync with pc. but he needs to be able to do that.
