Notice that in the icons list it shows tzones and myfaves. Arent these specific to USA Tmobile?

Does anyone know if the Default ROM that the MDA comes with from T-Mobile is compatible with EDGE? I never see the "E" Icon on the phone only "G" (Gprs) and the speeds reflect that. I have tried ver 2.17 and I get the "E" icon and much faster speeds. I needed to downgrade since 2.17 doesnt work with Goodlink. SUCKS!
I believe the stock version is 1.8.

Are you sure you have the registry hack installed on your default ROM? the 2.17 rom may have it installed by default.
The stock Tmobile US rom does indeed support EDGE, it just doesn't change from G to E. I didn't notice any speed difference between roms, just that the indicator would change.

go to the FTP and look in the t-mobile extend cab folder for the file Signed_Edge_Icon.sa.CAB thats all that you need to run.
Don't see it in there...

Probably as simple as going to your providers website and setting up the GPRS and MMS settings in the phone. Or searching the forums for the carrier customization cab files. At least that is all we have to do in the US for T-Mobile and Cingular (T-Mobile's site has an error on it though)
Does anyone know where i can find OEM packages for t-mobile? I would like to have the option of adding MyFavs or t-zones into a rom if i choose so. I have searched and couldnt find anything

I'm on VF in Australia and have had to use the reg hack and change my main network settings manually as the exception rule never worked for me... I'm just interested to know has any one found out a better way, one that will give me VGA VF Live for my diamond instead of the QVGA vomit i'm getting with the N95 browser reg string? Is there a stand alone WAP browser for VFlive or one that could be ported? Or can someone get this working on Opera... Maybe other carriers have similar WAP services?

THE DIFFERENCE IS att rom is specific to what att wants in the tilt i.e support for ptt, att connection settings by default, att keyboard mapping etc. while on the other hand the htc rom is for the tytnII which has a different keyboard layout than the tilt and doesn't have att connection settings by default, lacks support for ptt, has htc home included (att version doesn't).
Asides from this the htc rom also has incorporated support for video chat using the front camera which the att tilt lacks. There are numerous other differences one of which is that att rom is loaded with att bloatware i.e att demo games, att navigation software etc.
There's a plethora of threads regarding this issue so a little search should yield the answer.
