Hi, I have recently bought a new HTC Kaiser.
I have encountered the following problem:
Whenever a sound plays , the rear speaker starts by making a creaky noice.. It continues to produce a low output vibrating sound that can only be heard if you put the phone near your ear and at the end it produces a new creaky sound like the first one. This cycle of sounds continues whenever the rear speaker is set into action.. Whenever it starts or ends working it produces this creaky sound and in the meantime it produces the low output vibrating sound.
Does anyone have the same problem?
Is this a general bug of the device or is my device faulty?
Any help will be highly appreciated.
Thank you in advance.

Hello,
I bought my One on Tuesday and it's been great so far, but today I've noticed that playing it on the top 3 volume levels causes the sound to kind of fluctuate, as in, some parts of the song play louder than other parts.
This is less prevalent with beats audio turned off, however I believe I can still slightly hear it.
It's most noticeable when I plug it into my car's aux port and turn the volume on the phone up to its max.
Has anyone else had this problem? is it a software issue? or will I have to take this phone back?
Thanks
the phone have 2 speaker one in top on in bottom.
2.1 speaker working in phone perhaps the song getting change between to speakers and you think that happened.

Sorry if I wasn't clear, the problem only happens with headphones plugged in
Hey guys,
If during a call I put my HTC on speaker, the person on the other hears a lot more whitenoise / background crackle than normal (I think all sound captured through the HTC mic gets louder for the other side). Does anyone experience this or have I got a faulty unit?

I had a similar problem HTC one, had to RMA it for repair, HTC replace the upper main board which house the microphone.
Do you have problem when taking picture with Zoe and video recording? Mine was not record any sound but crackle and noise. All of these problem relate to a defective microphone.

Just tried recording a video for the first time - seems OK, a bit soft but not sure if that's a defect. So in your case, was it that normally the other person could hear you fine, but if you put the One on speaker the other person would suddenly hear more background crackle?

Yes normal phone call was ok. When put on speaker phone the other end only have bad static noise and crackle. Bad static noise and crackle when recording video and taken zoe picture. Seems like you may not have my issues since you can record video with sound ok.
Ah OK Do you still have issues with crackle when on Speaker? I really don't want to do another RMA, done about 7 so far, so if its just a feature of the Ones then I'll just live with it
Hi All,
I have recently purchased this phone and am very pleased with it.
The only issue I have is that in calls when the volume is turned all the way up the earpiece buzzes slightly.
Does anyone else have this issue?
thanks.
Nope, but from what you describe it sounds to me like there's contamination in the earpiece speaker, when the speakers membrane vibrates high enough, the contamination vibrates along and that could be the buzzing sound you hear... unless it's a different kind of buzzing... like continuous buzzing, is it?
The buzzing only occurs when the volume is turned up loud. It is as as if the speaker is loose and is vibrating inside the housing. Also occasionally when i make or answer a call the speaker doesn't work and there is no sound from the other caller.
I plan to return it to the store I bought it and try and get a replacement as surely this is faulty hardware?
It surely isn't a software issue, and unless you have a very poor signal while in call, there should be no reason to have a crappy (or absent) caller sound, other than the possibility I mentioned below, which sounds very likely... Hope they can fix or replace it for you
I contacted both motorola and Three UK (whom I purchased it from) and they both said it was not normal. I returned it to a Three store and got it replaced. The new one has no buzzing so i think its all sorted.
So i have had the replacement for nearly 2 weeks now and the issue has started again. there is a buzzing when in call. it varies with the pitch of the other callers voice but it sounds like there's a bee stuck in the earpiece or the speaker itself is loose and is vibrating.
Im not rough with the phone at all and most of the time it sits on my desk at work.
apparently there is a similar issue with the RAZR M in the U.S
surely I cant be unlucky enough to be the only one in the UK to have this issue and to have it twice....
I've had my phone replaced 4 times now, each had a problem. I'm on my 5th Nexus 6 and this one has speaker crackle in the top speaker. I noticed it when I had a Facebook notification, but I haven't heard it since, so obviously. I can only hear it when I play some sort of sound, and afterwards, once the particular sound has finished playing, I hold it right against my ear, and it's sort of like white noise with like crackles and pops in. I can't hear it when it's away from my ear and it doesn't seem to affect call quality.
I've noticed the bottom speaker outputs normal white noise once audio has finished playing, but again, only when holding it up to my ear.
I've read a lot of people have had this, but their replacements seem to do the same thing. Is this worth a replacement (in my case a refund, I don't want a sixth phone) or is it just one of those things that won't really affect the phone?
Move doesn't appear to get any worse when the battery is lower either. It's constant when Google Music is open, when a song is on pause, but I only know this because I held it right against my ear.
Surely, if it was a defective speaker, the speaker wouldn't sound as good as it does playing audio?
Anybody else's so this?

Hello,
I have the same problem. It's a low frequency noise... after each sound, but only if you hold it to your ear.
Let me tell you that, that does not affects the overall product. I have deal with lots of FACTORY BUGS (like Sensation 4G BT antenna) and so on, but this 1 sec low frequency does not affect as much.
For me is only more noticeable when on low battery.
Hope this helps!:good:
I think it's more of a software issue, are you completely stock? I flash a lot of Roms. There are some I get the crackle noise some that I don't. I also use lean kernel which has updated audio and display drivers... No crackle or pops for me in quite a long time
Is it definitely a software problem? I read online about people saying its hardware, but if it is software I'll keep it. If not I'll have to send it back Monday... would a factory reset do anything?
And yes, completely stock.
And same, mine is worse when on low battery. If I play a game with sound off, there's this constant buzz coming from the top speaker.
As the subject states.
I'm noticing my bottom speaker is massively louder then the top speaker when playing music and when in call on loudspeaker.
I test by simply covering one of the speakers. The effext is very evident.
The top speaker is very low compared to bottom.
Is anyone else noticing this or has my top speaker failed on me?

I'm noticing the same thing. Balance seems to be off.
If you have had it like that since the beginning you are most likely experiencing the same problem i had.
When the phone was built in the factory, a small plastic piece above the speaker wasn't removed correctly so it muffled the speaker. It went under the warranty cause it's a a problem from the factory

Starting to think this is normal?!
Which is weird.
I say normal. Because I just ran the rest on my girlfriends z3c and she notices the same low sound from top speaker.
Lame.
Gonna go test this is store on the demo models see if this is indeed normal...
Tried the demo model in store today I can confirm that both top and bottom speakers provided an EQUAL level of sound (when playing music at least.)
Unlike my phone which has clearly suffered over time through no direct fault of my own.
Sending it back tomorrow
