i'm having trouble (that i didnt have with the HTC 6800) issuing voice dialing command with the blueant supertooth II and the Tilt.
the blueant initiates the Voice Command application on the Tilt but the tilt never hears the contact/command.
does anyone else have the blueant supertooth II handsfree speakerphone and if so are you having the same problem?
my problem seems to have been resolved after moving to rom 1.56.405.5

Hi,
I'm unable to perform commands through my bluetooth headset. Paring is successful, i can have conversations with the bluetooth activated. But i can't redial the last number, nor do a voice speed dial. I have the Kaiser SFR branded ( v1615 )
I have the latest Cyberon installed. Anyway i don't think the redialing has anything to do vith cyberon or voice command.
I have a bluetrek G3 headset, and i also tried a nokia hs11 headset i borrowed from a colleague. i still the same problem, so the problem doesn't come from the headset.
Help anyone, please !
Thanks
I've been experiencing this problem on my TyTN II with the original ROM. The programs I have installed which may be affecting the problem are:
-CooTek TouchPal 2
-TIInit_4_2_38 Kaiser (Official HTC Bluetooth Fix)
- duttythroy v3 Voip Setup
- Microsoft Voice Command v1.6.17913
Here's the problem:
- boot up the TyTN II (after being completely powered off) or toggle Bluetooth power off & on, with paired bluetooth headset within range and on
- Go to Phone screen. Headset icon is there indicating that the Bluetooth headset is connected.
- Press talk/send button on Bluetooth headset to start Microsoft Voice Command or answer an incoming call.
Result: Headset beeps as expected, but nothing happens on the TyTN II. Voice Command is not initiated. Incoming calls are not answered.
Workaround: If I go to Start>Settings>Connections>Bluetooth... Tap & Hold on my Bluetooth Headset, then choose "Set as Hands Free" the headset beeps again indicated that it made a connection. After I do that, all is as it should be! I can activate Voice Command, and answer/end calls with the Bluetooth Headset. I should not have to set my Bluetooth Headset as the Handsfree device everytime a reboot or toggle the Bluetooth power status.
I suspect it might be the Voip implementation, or the HTC Bluetooth "fix" but haven't done a hard reset yet to test.
Has anyone else had this problem? Does anyone know of a solution??
What headset are you using? I have the same software (except ROM) as you and haven't experienced this problem. I can SR with headset on and it will reconnect once the device reboots.
I tried it with the Nextlink Invisio G5, and Bluespoon AX2, both of which worked properly with other phones (HTC P3300, Nokia N95, etc., etc.,). I can try other headsets, but I'm pretty sure it's the phone software.
If your Voip and MS Voice Command are the same as mine and everything is working properly, maybe it's the HTC Bluetooth "fix". I guess another hard reset is in order soon.
I recently purchased Jabra Bt8010 BT. So far, it has worked flawlessly to make and receive calls when paired with HTC TyTN II. However, when I use it as a stereo headset to listen to music, it cuts off. It plays for a minute, then cuts off for a second or so. It does it very often.
I do not know, if I need to upgrade the firmware of it or its just a DOA.
Any suggestions will be helpful.
Thanks
I have the at&t Tilt
I have a Tilt (with the stock at&t ROM) and this same headset (Jabra BT8010)and I'm not experiencing this issue.
Hope this is helpful somehow.
I have the same devices and found that this happened to me. it turned out to be due to also pairing it with my desktop.

Same problem with Spanish ROM ... ¿Any idea about what happends?
Same problem... And there is the same problem also on Touch Pro model.
I have noticed that it will work for be if I use the button but I have to only hold it about 2 seconds or it just beeps.
With button and long time hold, CVC works, but from phone and not from headset.
The problem may be in bt audio gateway driver or in an wrong AT bluetooth command send to the headset. I've try CVC 2.5 on HTC Tytn II, and all works fine with the same headset.
Same problem with French ROm et French CVC
Hi, which Rom in here has the Bluetooth Voice Dailing funciton.
I installed one but it does not have the OEGAGW.dll for using with Cyberon Voice Speed Dial.
Please help. I upgraded from Tilt to Tilt 2 and now I lost the voice dialing through bluetooth.
