I searched for an answer and found none. My IE is freezing up my TILT when I open it up on wifi or edge.

hi, since quite sometime every time I turn on the GPS, my phone tries to log in the net, anyone know why is this and how can I stop it, i'm on Windows Mobile 6.1, I remember it did not happen before, maybe a little help thank you !

I've recently bought HTC Diamond, but I have a problem I can not run GPS:
I'm doing this by going in tools and i click on the QuicGPS icon after i click i appears a window which is asking me to download data from the server i used to download this datas for more than 1 hour but nothing hapend after each the page it is asking me to download and download again can anybody explain what to do or haw this thing should work thanks
You're not going to get a lot of sympathy around here asking a question like that. You really ought to have searched around... right now on page one there's at least two concurrent threads concerning GPS issues.
Anyway, seeing as you're new at this... when you've downloaded a QuickGPS update once, that's it; just close it, leave it alone, and don't run it again... this is not your GPS, it just gets some settings for it!
Then go away to an application that uses GPS (like Tomtom or Google Maps) and set that to use your GPS.
If you're still stuck after this, then search around, the answers are here if you look... Though there's so much ****e talked about GPS around here that you'll need to try to filter the good from the bad I'm afraid.

For some reason, every time i get a phone call or make a phone call TomTom opens up. Its kind of annoying. It launches whenever im on a call and starts getting my location, satellites,..etc. Ive been searching around but cant seem time find a solution and i don't know too much about editing the registry on my Tilt. Any solutions or registry tweaks anyone know about that could fix this problem i have??

i would say, you are not clOsing tomtom properly
that's a feature of tomtom to come back to screen after making a call, to let you talk and navigate at once.
make sure you end tomtom by exit button in program menu.

I've just reflashed my phone today. Before I did this, any application that needed a connection could connect without any issue. Now, only certain ones can initiate the connection. This is probably a simple fix, but for the life of me I can't remember what I did to fix it the last time. I've searched here and the Wiki but no luck finding the answer again. I've used Advanced Config and Kaiser Tweak, thinking the setting might be in one of those but it isn't.
Can someone help me with this? I think it might have been a registry tweak.

Hello all.
I first want to say that I have read this forum until I thought My eyes would bleed before posting any question.
I have a cingular 8125 (Wizard) that I recently upgraded to CR96 Touch HD Version 6.5.0.1.7 RC3 and I love the rom for the most part.
After installing it, I had internet access until just a few days ago. I assumed that it was that I was still running the old Cingular config file Cingular_Wap_Medianet_MMS_Settings.cab file that I have used for years, and maybe AT&T was trying to get rid of there old settings. I have searched the site, and searched for the settings to configure the connection.
I did not find a cab file for the wizard, but found the settings and manually entered them. I could not connect, nor could I access the internet.
I then located the htc HTC_Network_Wizard_Kaiser.CAB file, and tried running it, and could not find where it installed a program to run, nor did I see that it configured a connection for me. So, Back to reading.
I finally found an AT&T_Wap_MEdiaNet_MMS_Settings.cab file that actually allowed my phone to connect to the internet for my e-mail from my work. I still however cannot access the web. I thought maybe it was caused by an registry setting that I changed trying to move the bulk of my mail to the SD card. So, I did a hard re-set on the phone. I still however am only able to get the e-mail without web browsing access.
I have not been able to locate another person that has had this issue. Please help.

I also want to say that I have 90% signal strength, and am still unable to connect to the web.
does anyone know where I can find the ]HTC_Network_Wizard for the Wizard phone?
Does this mean that no one knows, or that I just did not ask correctly?
Could someone please send me the HTC_Network_Wizard for the Wizard file? I will beg if needed.
