Securety pin while using Tomtom

Hi does someone has a solution for the follwing?
I use my Kaiser with Exchange server 2003 and direct push.
Because of that, i have to use the securety pin code on my Kaiser.
When i am using Tomtom now, every 15mins the enter pin screen pops up, and i have to enter my pincode in order to resume navigation...
Is there a way around this???
I believe there is an topic for this problem.
You have to change a registry key.
Don't know wich one that was.
If i find it, i will post it here.
Here it is:
Enable changing password lock time:
In the registry do the following:
\hklm\security\policies\policies\00001023 from 0 to 1.

I did try that. It does work for about 2 days. Then the password screen pops up again.
Also the regkey has automaticly gone back to 0...
Then i think the exchange policy is overruling the device.
I'am sorry then i haven't got an other idea

Advanced Config 3.3

Okay, noob question:
How to "Lock" those settings?
The settings keeps getting back to default after for instance reboot.
And also, how to lock settings in the registry?
Thanks in advance!
welcome CanonZouk
when you change settings, the left button is called DONE. dont push x as finish. After pushing DONE, ac will ask you to reboot, say yes and go on enjoying your device.
Search is your friend, think about that next time before asking
Greetings

I did try searching, someone else asked the some question but no one had replied.
For some reason it now seems to have worked, not sure what happend earlier.

A Lock/Unlock ??

Hi all I am new here due to first time with such an advanced function phone.
I have done a search in this forum ( Topaz only ) and came up nothing with quite the same problem I am having
I have a TD2/Topaz
I have lock unlock problem which I can seem to work out.
In Start/Settings/All Settings/Personal-Tab/lock
I utilised it to lock using a password, the phone is asking for the password every 30 seconds ( if unused ) even after entering the password.
Dose any body know how I can turn lock off ??
cheers in advance

The same way as it was locked. But don't have phone in hands right now,but try to go to the power settings and there should be an option "ask code on wake up" or something simmilar...
go to same place that you set lock, remove the tick of "Prompt if device unused for" and click "ok"

When i went back to Lock, I could not find my way back to that screen where you tick and make your password, ounce I had made the password I could not find my way back to this screen what do I press to get back to that screen.
Sorry for newbie type ??
cheers
Just to confirm that prridge is right... access to lock settings are curiously removed once lock is set. I think a hard reset is the way to go or you could also try 3rd party software.
Naughty WinMo 6.1
EDIT Ok this is weird: I pulled the stylus out as I was unlocking immediately after setting "lock" in "personal settings" and suddenly the settings appeared for the first time allowing changes... bizarre but true

Sorry folks, but seems lot of people do not even try to read out device manual.

According this thread, there are no problem to turn off Lock option or to change Lock time.
Take Start > Settings > All settings ... Personal tab ... Lock

[Q] Password not accepted

Hi,
After recovering and setting up my phone again, the password is not accepted. So I can't access my phone, is there a way to bypass the lockscreen?
Did a quick search but couldn't find anything suitable.
Hope you guys can help me
Edit:
Reflashed the device. But if someone has a solution, I'd like to hear it.

[Q] Wifi key

Hello,
Each time i want to connect to my wifi with my G Note, i must enter the key. As it is a long key, it's boring and not useful. I haven't found anything on the Internet or in the forum. Do someone knows the tip or an app to memorize this key? Thanks in advance.
should remeber it, sounds like something might be corrupt on the file that saves this info
Thanks. In that case, which file is it and is it possible to replace it?
backup your files and hard reset back to factory settings and see if it does it then, it might be someapp you have also installed
Thanks Richy, I finally found what was wrong.... it was me! To connect, I clicked on the ID of my wifi lan in the list, and to disconnet i did the same. I received then a dialog box asking if I want to "forget it" or "cancel". (not sure for the translation by forget it, my android is not in English). Now i know that the "forget it" was about the key. And I discovered that to connect or disconnect it's better to scroll down the notification bar...
