Problem with Card SLOT!! - Tilt, TyTN II, MDA Vario III General

Hello
I've got one of this Kaiser since a few days ago.
But I dont know if my micro-sd card slot is broken or not: I had just introduced my micro-SD card into the slot (with the pins downside) and it didn't make the usual "click". The problem comes now, because I'm not able to extract it from the slot.
¿Anyone with the same problem? ¿Anyone who can help me to extract it?
Thank you in advance!!

You have to work it hard and pop it's cherry.... they are always tight the first few times you insert the card. I had to use tweezers to remove it the first few times. Each time you use it it gets better...

Yeah...push it in with your fingernail to release it, then use your nail to pull it out with the lip across the top.

8125 Broken SD slot

Issue: when i try to insert my mini SD into my 8125, it doesn't "lock" or secure the card in place. it just kinda jumps up and down as i continuously try to press it down.
Reslove....?: anyone know how i can remedy this promblem. i assume it's some mechanism/spring locking issue, but i'm unsure. there is a place here in town that will do the repair for, surprise surprise, $60. am i gettin' cheated or should i just fork over the money? THANKS!!!!
I have a fix for you, it's not pretty, but it's simple. just wrap a piece of electrical tape once around the top about 2/3 of the card and it should stay in their fine. I had to do this to a loose card I had and worked great for keeping it in there. Just make sure you don't wrap any of the important parts of it and you should be ok.
Yup!
did the same, but I inserted a small folding made of tissue paper on the upper side of the Sdcard after inserting into it's slot,it made the sdcard to stay in the slot firmly and firmly connected to the connectors, did did the job and remained like this and working for almost six months.Only precaution here is to be sure that the connectors don't get covered and make good and firm connection,
Bonus!
THANKS for the quick reply guys! i really appreciate it. i'll give your advice a go and see what happens.
Well, i took the advice and i must say its not too bad of a rig, if ya just wanna get the job done. i usded a single strip of electrical tape and put it once around the mini sd card. it seems to be "goin no where" for the time being. whats nice is that i have a micro sd w/ with mini and regular sd adapters. so when the micro is in plugged into the tapped mini in my phone, all i need to do is simply remove the micro from the top of the "trapped" mini sd and place it in my regular sd adapter and then into my laptop sd slot. it seems like a happy medium for now. we'll see how it goes.

Stopped recognizing SIM card, any ideas?

Greetings,
I have a Diamond that had been working perfectly and suddenly last week started giving me a "Missing SIM Card" message and never worked again. It didn't fall or suffer any physical shock, just happened after a battery discharge and soft reset.
I assumed the card terminal went offline for some reason. I tried hard reset and installing different ROMs and Radio ROMs, both stock and cooked. I tried different SIMs. Nothing worked.
Anyone knows some way to try and solve this or further diagnose the problem?
Thanks in advance!
I also suffered a similar issue with my Diamond. I managed to fix it by gently and carefully blowing into the Diamonds SIM slot to remove any dust and debris that might be in there (Although you should probably use compressed air to avoid getting moisture inside the slot) and that did the trick.
I also remember with an older phone of mine, the contacts on the SIM card became corroded because it was quite an old SIM card, so I used a little bit of Brasso and a cotton bud (Q-Tip, whatever) to gently shine up the contacts again, removing the oxidation. This helped quite considerably!

Thanks for the tip, but that was actually the first thing I tried, as I would normally when a SIM card stops responding... blowing didn't help, nor did running a cotton line through the contacts. As far as I can see (which is not much because of the metal SIM cover that I can't remove) there is no physical obstacle in the contacts.

Thanks again, but it is not a card problem. The card works fine in other phones and other cards don't work in the Diamond...
Any more thoughts or suggestions?
Got the same problem. The SIM card is sometimes recognized, sometimes not. Service seems the only option for me (tried both cleaning the SIM slot using pressurized air and cleaned the SIM card contacts)

HD7 Sim Card Error & Low Space Error

Good day folks
Have anyone encountered a sim card error or an internal storage error (low disk space) on your HD7s ?
And what solutions did you find or attempt?
I think I found one solution for this issue. But would like to see first if anyone beside me got this problem.
Regards,
Xeno
I also encountered sim card error. But no space error.
How did you managed to fix sim card error?
In order to fix this I had to unscrew the warranty sticker, so this means your warranty will be gone. (If you care about the warranty at this point anyway)
You need to follow Wolfman017 guide to upgrade the SD card, but you will need to take it up a notce.
You will need to remove the whole back of the phone, until you see the phone's board.
Once your remove the whole back, notice right above where you insert your sim card. There should be small black piece which connects the sim slot to the board.
Use your fingernails to pull it up gently. Then press it back down with your finger until it clicks properly. A bit of force but not too much.
Once done no need to assemble the whole phone yet. Just put the back cover and sim card, place back the battery and test.
Hopefully this fixes the issue.
Let me know how it goes for you. If it does take a couple of pictures of the process and post them in the thread.
Regards,
Xeno
Hello.
I have same problem. Can you make some photo of this process?
It did not help me. I'm not sure that I do everything right.
Excellent job mr Xenohart i confirm this work 100%
disassembly the phone ( you can search the video in youtube ) then only need remove the socket connector sim card board and put again. test and enjoy

MicroSImCard doesnt Fit, help plz!

Hey,
just got my Z1 yesterday, everything runs fine. Expect I cant fit the Micro Sim Card into the Slot -,-. WTF. I tried it several times and it's always stuck and i cant close the cover of the Micro Sim Card Slot. I got a delicate dissecting forceps with which I can pull it out again, but seriously, if it doesnt work im going to get the Samsung S4 Active.
EDIT: OFC Im using the MicroSim "Adapter" which is integrated in the MicroSIM slot!
Never had such problems with any phone yet...
Any advice/ experience?
Thx in advance,
TCIG
Are you trying to put it in the sd card slot?
The sim card slot is on the opposite side to the charger slot.
I also found it has to go in just one way and it goes in easily. If you have to force it, turn it round or turn it over
Its all there in the instruction booklet you got with the phone

Thx for ur answer. Im not trying to put it in te sd card slot. Micro Sim Slot it right upper the Power Button. Unfortunately the instruction booklet doesnt help me, because im following the instructions just like displayed.
Thx Anyway, maybe its just problem of the phone as it doesnt slides in easily...
Heading for an S4 active, because I think it fits my hands better, still its more fragile...
Okkk, the fool speaks again: I rly got it to put it in the wrong way! The thick end of the SIM card adapter should be head to the top of the phone. I always put it in to the bottom of the phone -,-.
Thank u gregbradly, u rly helped me .
So typical for me...

Micro SD Card Issue

I have the latest Kindle Fire 8 (OS 5.6.0.0) and I am having an issue with the SD card slot. Sometimes the cover will open when I am not trying to open. It doesn't open very far, but it is far enough open that the card will move enough that it will not be read by the tablet. I am a little worried that I could lose the card because of this if it happens when I am not paying attention. I suppose I could put a piece of tape over the cover but that seems like an inadequate way to fix the issue, and the tablet is a recent enough purchase that it still has a warranty on it. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone else had this issue and how they resolved it.
If the card can move the slot cover, it may be not properly inserted - there's a spring to help remove it. When inserting, you should hear a slight click sound, and the card should not move on its own anymore.
