Sorry for the newbie question, but I cannot find where to change that.
I'm not sure if it is because I installed a new rom, but usually when I'm typing something, the key pressed appears twice.
I would like to change the 'Repeat delay' setting just in case that's the problem, but I cannot find it.
Thanks
It's in Settings-Personal-Buttons-Up/down control
Thanks RPG0.

Does anybody know how to change the setting for the dialpad during a phone call? I need to have the dialpad on all the time, even during a phone call.
Thanks.

Hi,
KaiserTweak can do it:
Call -> disable both "Fast Sleep" and "Sleep" options!
Try this great application, with many other tweaks!
PS: Nex time, however, use better the forum "search" feature!!
Ciao
Thanks for your help. But I have KT installed and the first two settings are disabled. The only thing it did was solve the phone going black after 10 seconds. My dialpad is still replaced by the status page. And I need to have the dialpad up all the time.
I also check the registry settings that KT changes, and they were changed. So I don't know if this is an issue with my phone or all Kaisers.
Any registry tweak that you know?
oh, i get it........you mean the keypad dont you?

Ok, sorry, but i didn't well understand your bug, or requirement!!
What do you mean for "Status page"??
Can you post some screenshot?
Sorry, again, dude
don't need screenshots, i understand now!
But only one question: after you start a call can you tap the left softkey and show the dialpad? if so, you would like to always show the dialpad tab, and not the status page, also when the call start without pressing any key, right??

I believe this is exactly what he meant, and I for one would like to know also.
Dom; that's exactly what I meant. 99% of my calls I make through my pbx, and because of that, I need to keep inputing numbers. The fact that I need to click on the "show keypad" on every call is annoying and dangerous (when I am driving). Yes, the show key pad is on the left corner, but it would be more convenient to have it on all the time, and when and if I need the status page, I would press the show status page button.
I am sorry I was not clear on my first post.
Thanks.
I can't adjust the volume with the scroll wheel during a call. I am sure it worked in the past. Any help? Thanks.
Do you can adjust system volume by the scroll? Please let me know beacuse i can't make anything by the scroll...
you probly have the large title bar thingy installed, that seems to mess up the volume control. Simple solution is to remove it. I was never a big fan anyway. I am sure someone must have worked out a solution by now. I cant be arsed to go looking for it though as i dont use it.
Hope this helps.

Thanks Rob,

Why get out a Large title bar. My tytn2 is a orange poland.
Guys,
There's something bugging me.
Is it somehow possible to define the keyboard sensitivity, mainly the delay before a key is repeated?
I keep having keys typed several time when using the keyboard and it's bloody irritating...
Help greatly appreciated
Matt
Yes, it is possible. Under settings go into "Buttons" and than to the "Up/Down Control tab. If I'm not mistaken the Delay and repeat rate you define there is goes not just for the up/down buttons but for the whole hardware keyboard as well. HTH.
There is a reg edit. HKCU/Control Panel/Kebd/InitialDelay.
I set mine to 300. Found this today on another thread...
thanks a lot
i'll try that
Hello eveyone,
I´d like to know if there´s a way to change the two buttons beneath the horizontal touchflo3d scroll bar.
I use the bElite99b ROM version and there it says on the left "Telefon" and on the right "Programme".
I´d like to change the "Telefon" button to a calendar button. So that it reads "Calendar" and when I press it, the calendar opens up.
If it is not possible to change it through an already written program: does anyone know if there is a registry key for this button?
Thanks in advance for any answer.
bye,
Thilo
solution found
ok, I found the solution myself while reading other threads.
Here it is:
change the registry key values:
'\HKLM\Software\HTC\Manila\HomeLSKText' to e.g. "Kalender" and
'\HKLM\Software\HTC\Manila\HomeLSKPath' to e.g. "Windows\Startmenü\Kalender.lnk"
bye,
Thilo
Hello, it's my first post, I would like just to say hello.
I've searched forum but I haven't found solution to my problem. As said in the title, I cant change text input method. Whatever I choose, the option comes back to full qwerty mode. Am I doing something wrong? Or should I take some additional steps to get it working?
Regards, fck.
Input methods...
How are you trying to change the input methods? I may be missing the obvious, or you may be, so we'll start at the top.
Open up any app where you can access the SIP's (soft input panels)... try Word or Notes. Tap the keyboard icon at the bottom centre of the screen, now tap the tiny arrow to the right of the icon and choose an option here.
Let me know what this does
Ah! Thank you very much! It does work. I was changing it in settings/input/then chosen keyboard. However, it still doesn't work for me to change input method from settings tab. Why? The same problem occurred on stock t-mobile rom and so as on custom one..
