Hi! In fact, I was thinking about the contrary, but I was wondering if this is possible to do. My aim is to unlock the T-mobile SIM, and the PDA2K ROM is SIM-unlocked. The MDA III device and the Imate-PDA2K device are the same. Today a new ROM has appeared for the imate PDA2K, but only imate members can download it. Tell me if I am right or wrong about all this. Thanks.

Do not uodate to new rom. It screws the Hands Free Profile.

Wizard Roms - can you help please? Dutch to WWE

Hi There,
I am buying a Wizard (MDA Vario) for an Australian friend of mine that's coming over for a visit and naturally she wants the wizard in English.
However, I can easily (and very cheaply) get the Dutch version from T-Mobile in the Netherlands since I am renewing my partners contract.
So I guess I need to flash a new WWE rom onto the Dutch T-Mobile...
My questions:
I am aware of the WWE I-Mate Rom that you can download from the club I-Mate ftp site.
1. Is this a good rom - and will it work 100% problem free with the Dutch MDA Vario?
2. Are there any other or better alternatives? any links to other roms? maybe a T-Mobile UK rom or QTEK 9100? which WWE rom is considered the most stable and non sluggish?

Lisa, I am having the same issue ,e xcept mine is Currently with Orange and a French OS.

I have a Dutch MDA myself.
Just flashed the Imate rom today with WWE.
Seems to work great.
No problems at all.
Qwerty keyboard is the same too.

I want to flash my Dopod 838 from CHT to WWE (Eng). Can you tell me which provider ROM (RUU) is latest and fully support the 838 hardware such as Keyboard, WiFi and BT...? Thank you.

The Qtek RUU (2.17) is what I use on my Cingular 8125 (same as Dopod 838) so I imagine you should be good to go.

Why change keyboard code? It's not for same keyboard layout support? Is KJam better support 838 than Qtek? thanks

I was in Shanghai last week and picked up a Qtek 9100 that had a CHS rom on it. I didn't need a CHS device anymore so I flashed the QTEK with the latest Wizard/Cingular WWE ROM and it works fine. You should be able to go to the ftp site and download the latest QTEK 9100 WWE ROM that is posted and you should be good to go.

WM6.0 for MDA Vario III

Hello everybody,
is it possible to find somewhere the WM6.0 version for my T-Mobile (german) MDA Vario III - if possible the original german version, but could be also an english version ? I have currently the original WM6.1 german on it and I am not satisfied with the performances... What would I need in addition to the WM6.0 kit?

Complain to your provider T-Mobile about the issues you are experiencing with the new ROM and that you'd like it reverted. I had this done on my HTC TyTN II under warranty for free but even if they won't revert it for you, they may provide the WM 6.0 German ROM and then you can use the procedures described here to revert it yourself. As already described the WWE ROM already linked to is very reliable and it gets lightening fast GPS locks/performance - hence I'm using it.

if everything fails, i think i have a dump of the 6.0 t-mobile rom my vario was shipped with.

[Q] htc touch diamond vodafone NL

Hello i am new here.
But i got a question i got last week a htc touch diamond vodafone nl unlocked with vodafone unlock code.
System information.
Hardspl olinex 1.40
rom 1.97.172.4 NLD
radioversion: 1.08.25.08
Hardspl 1.40 flash is succesfull and good installed.
The rom is not so fast and the pink is ugly.
but i want a new rom if i install a new rom do i need to get a new unlock code or can i just use that one again?
If i can use it again after installing a new rom, which rom can i use for best?
or which upgrade is good for my htc?
