Did this work with my TyTN II?
I have installed it but I only see X icon which makes soft reset.
And if this not work... what sw do the same... dynamic clocking?

Hi PeeHoo,
Nope, the overclocking would not work as it is processor specific, not written for Kaiser. It has been mentioned in other threads..
And... any other possibilities to do this?
why would you want to overclock it? It is already pretty fast...
well, I'd like to have a similar tool, too. Not to overclock, but setting the CPUs freqency to less than 400 MHz if not used.
I did that with my wizard using batterystatus (130-240MHz) and saved lots of energy
Nothing out there that is compatable with our CPU that I know of.

Hi all, i have the Duttys Diamond rom on my Tilt, but the touch is not very good, some times doesn't respond at the first press, or when i press one spot it runs another.
With the original att rom runs just perfect.
i have also a htc wizard and with some diamond rom , and the touch works fine and very accurate.
What can i do to fix or upgrade the touch driver on my tilt?
(I don't have touchflo) But i would like to....
Disable TouchFlo and go to Settings > System > Screen - and realign your screen.
Also use KaiserTweak (I think that one) and adjust the sensitivity of your screen.
I think you lower the threshold to make it more sensitive. At least, that's what threshold should mean.
My tytn2 has the same problems sometime with HyperDragon IIIr most of the time its fine but every now and again i have to press harder than i should or tap the screen 2 or 3 times to make it respond. I have the pressure threshold set to 400 in Advanced config. Maybe its a bug with certain cooked roms.
As for the pressure threshhold, theres a reg key HKLM/Drivers/TouchPanel/ I think and you should raise that.
another problem could be that atleast in my experience, I have seen this happen when I didn't have the correct SPL and didn't hardreset after flashing a rom.
wow i just disabled touchflow and my screen is super accurate.
hmm... that is a horrible thing to find out.
well. maybe somebody can make a hack to enable touchflow only when using certain apps. Like file explorer, and contact, and IE.
Kuz I have been having a hard time dialing. It touchflo was disabled, it would be much better.

I think it worked for me, (i dont know how to disable touchflo with Duttys rom).
will update later.
thanks for the help.

Hallo, I finally dismissed my chicken outfit and flashed htc's wm6 rom onto my wm5 (the thrill !!).
With all today plugins off except for BatteryStatus (the latest beta), and the phone turned on, after a soft reset I get a paltry-ish 15M of program memory, changing magically to about 19M after a while (why ? dunno). Of course that then leaks slowly but surely and I'm sure we wouldn't want it any other way.
Is this the memory I'm supposed to get ?
Also, as a further term of assessment & comparison: the device is OC'ed to 260 via BatteryStatus, and I tried ThrottleLauncher on it (http://www.throttlelauncher.com/portal/index.php/pruebas/34-public-releases/76-092beta#tutorial). In spite of the OC, it seemed slow and clumsy.
Is it because
a) the herald's cpu is slow and there's no BS that can help it
b) throttlelauncher is aimed at faster devices or is still in development
c) stock wm6 is for some reason slower than say a custom rom under which throttlelauncher might work like a breeze
?
Thanks
stock wm6 is sooooooooooooo slow. if u want a clean stable rom, try open touch 5.2 org. that's what i use and u can manually disable the htc home plugin under settings>today and put everything back on to look like stock rom, but itll still be much faster than stock, and if u run bs, itll be smooth and quick
all of the above. period
I have in the past few days read maybe a hundred billion posts, and I am by now almost subliminally convinced that cooked roms are faster than stock, BUT
what is it exactly that makes the stock rom go slow ?
I mean, speaking of computers, short of replacing drivers for this or that feature, the pesky 200mhz cpu stays the same. On a desktop I may gain performance-wise if I turn off services, but I get no cookie for just deleting stuff from /Windows.
And how does the program memory really influence speed ?
(From the presumption that it looks more like "amount of stuff you can run at once" rather than "the more you have the smoother you go", at least to the untrained - mine - eye.)
the build of the custom roms is newer (therefore, better?) and there are less background processes running, which takes up the cpu. This is where the "more memory equals more performance" mantra comes from.
you can overclock, of course, and the stock rom usually comes with this HUGE pagepool thats just plain downright unneeded.
Hi, is possible?someone has done?Bye
Try these

There are to Omap processors,I don`t think it works in P3600/P3600i our device is samsung processors

Uhm, i have to add my experience with the Wizard....i used to overclock the OMAP processor, and after a while i got serious instabilities of the lcd screen and spontaneous reboots even going back to nominal speed. In short, my Wizard went out of use. I know that the samsung processor is less good at it - therefore i decided not to try it...my individual experience, for what is worth...
Hy well i started this thread becouse i recently upgraded from an elf to a diamond... and now i'm not so sure i did a good thing... besides the fact that tf3d its better looking its running worse than the old manila 2d, wich was way way smoother on my elf. thing is i had so few ram on the elf i always runed out of memory when using opera mobile...but on diamond with so much ram and cpu speed available i can tell the difference in opera mobile but thats all... becouse the tf3d it's crap (in my opinion)
So i ask here is there any other rom wich i can use who might not have tf3d or maybe some cube like old elf, or maybe some other gui wich looks preaty nice? or maybe a clean rom and use another gui wich works on vga? i did a lot of search and i only found out SPB wich aint free.
ps i have read people saying that they have theyir diamonds at 30-35% memory afther soft reset, well mine its always around 50% and afther one day of using it (normal usage dialing, calling, a bit of teeter and some web browsing) i reach 90% still i did the tweak with opera preload in registry... but its crap i have to reset it all day at least once... how is this posible ? i mean elf had 64 ram and i still could play with 15 ram from the 64, diamond has 192 and i can play with only of them ? so where are the rest? what is using those 160mb of ram ? was elf using other version of windows mobile (as i remember it was 6.1 same like the one on diamond) is tf3d so much memory hungry ?
thanks hope u understand my english and hope someone can enlight me a bit, or direct me to some links where i can read about this (problem) besides the search, cose (i might be dumb) i canot find anithing relevant...
I'm going to take a stab, and say it might be related to your rom (carrier loaded rom especially).
I bought the US 3g unlocked Diamond (no carrier)..and I was happy with it (faster then my old hermes).
I'm now using Dutty's latest rom..and it is very smooth.
Have you tried turning off touchflo, and sticking with the manila 2d UI?
I have the CT's v 6.4 HD Lite ROM which includes TouchFLO 3D and the speed is good. Highly recommended.
As for soft reset, I normally switch off the phone at the end of the day. That is same as soft reset and I switch it back on next morning, I think.
well as far as i know manila 2d ui aint for VGA... or at least i couldn't find anything to work on 600x480...
TF2D for VGA:

I agree with you, TF3D is absolute crap. The speed doesn't bother me so much, it's just the memory that is used up for no good purpose, given that TF3D has no genuine benefit whatsoever. I can't think of a single feature that works properly or usefully, compared to ordinary WM apps and today plugins.
[/rant]
I think the Diamond's a great little phone - attractive and good pocket size - and the battery life isn't too much of a problem. However, given how slow the Diamond is at graphics and file system operations, it doesn't need to be burdened by a white elephant like TF3D.
SPB Mobile Shell is very popular but I went the tradional route of using SPB Pocket Plus with Phone Suite and some other plugins. DevState 1.5 works great as a Today screen task manager.
anybody has it on there tilt? what they set the mhz to? if you wanna delete the thread then give the answer first
Well the CPU on Kaiser is not OMAP it's Qualcomm so the software will not overclock the device..
o ok thanks
