Not as far as I can tell. Besides, battery life being as it is, you don't want the additional drain.
hi:
i looked thru all settings. even w/charged at 90% and turning off w/power switch (not completely off), tilt is dead overnight..
what else should i be looking at?
thnx
edit:: the post right above mine shows that this bug is common.. we re screwed..
whatta suk box

Do you have any radios on? (like cellular, wi-fi or GPS or...) I find that leaving the wi-fi radio overnight does drain the system heavily.
Also, do you have Activesync set up to update your email on a schedule or manually? If on automatic, this would kick off the cellular or wi-fi radio as well...
Also, battery burn is also heavily affected by which radio you are using. Do you happen to know which one is installed?
Some faulty programs can also prevent the phone from entering standby, which will drain the battery quickly.
well,,
i just now disabled auto email check..
even tho i hope that checkin every 4hrs or so doesnt kill a battery overnight..
maybe thatll fix it..
thats the only thing i see to do..
i ll turn off auto check for weather .
i ll also turn off wifi..
thanx for that reminder
im running l26 v 11 standard
tahnx for the replies..

true.. turn off all things except power pretty much fixed it
What can more save the power as below?
Turn off wifi
Turn off data
Turn off GPS
Turn off vibration for gestures
LCD setings
pm.sleep_mode=1
Underclocking to acpuclock.oc_freq_khz=400000
Better launcher ? If yes how much it help.
Have shortcuts instead widgets? If yes how much it help.
Something else ?
Thanks for your tips.
Turn off auto-sync.
Do not install too many apps.
Use stock launcher.
Whether widgets run heavier on the battery? - I don't know, but I can imagine that, so try to use a "clean" homescreen. pm.sleep_mode=2 is better for Over/underclocking (then calls work perfect although the device is in sleep-mode).
Try not to use it for just a couple of seconds, which means do not press wake, sleep, wake, sleep within a minute.
Kill every notification which is there - this takes battery-life too! :-O and let a taskkiller close every app every 5-minutes or when the device goes into sleep mode.
Turn off the cell and do not use it at all

Hi everyone!
I've been using split screen feature quite often, but when I placed it under sun today with this memory consuming feature, it turned slow and after 5 minutes, the screen went out. Still can hear the rings and vibrations but LED isn't coming back.
Can someone please help me how I can work this around, any shortcuts or hardware DIYs?

Looking like it's shut it's self down to stop over heating, put it somewhere cold and hopefully it will come back to life, switch it off first. Did you mean LCD screen isn't coming on?

It's working now. I turned on the flashlight (by taking guesses on position of the icon) to drain the battery faster, then when the battery died, I charged it and it worked.
Thanks!

But why drain the battery. You can switch the phone off pressing the power button 10 to 15 sec.
