Is the touchflo/cube ACTIVATED by button or by sliding finger from top of screen to bottom? I might try this later tonight

wait. whats the difference between this one and the PDAVIET Touch Flo Professional one.

after bricking my wing twice i finally got it working some problems though .... the top right corner seems to not work well with hands you have to use the stylus to close stuff ...... the keyboard layout is all messed up the alt keys dosnt match up to what is pressed ....so far thats all i can tell ...storage is 26 MB on hard reset and Program is 12.35 MB .. not sure what page pool that might be maybe its default 12...kinda fast no real lags....thats all i can tell from now ..hope i was helpful

There is a problem with the keyboard and the wing, its diffrent then the p4350, I dont know how to adress that issue.
If you go to options on the x-button, you can decide between holding x down a short time to end program <---(default) the other optionis end by clicking on x.
As told before, I was not gonna do WAY to much on this rom, ppl change and altar anyways. Pagepool is by default, but on this very site there is info on how to deal with the pagepool.

I was way to late up last night upping this, so didnt have the time, but ill do them later this evening

I was falling asleep already during the upgrade and turned everything off and was going to reply in the morning but on my way to bed i started to play with it and i had to come back on to compliment you. Great job! if this is your first run what a great job you did. You made me feel like i got this from Windows themselves. Easy to use and all the start ups were as Mobile 6 are. i like the layout and settings. I will agree that the file seems heavy but i think its the pagepool.
Very impressed buddy. If you accept donations i would gladly give cause this version has alot of what people have been aslong for. PDA still offers more options for people that need more gadgets but you kept it simple and thats great.
One thing though dude whats with the little green monster man... Not the first thing i wanted to see waking up lol Again nice job and honestly i would look forward to future work of yours!

Awww, why did you change the default theme wallpapers?

Maybe i'm forgetting something but with this rom the touchflo isn't working for me either, i selected it also manual by clicking the program icon, tried to press every button on the device but nothing shows up.
Is this a common problem and is there something to do about it ? I had the same problem with the PDAVIET roms.
Rest of the rom looks nice, will change pagepool to 6 and runs very smooth.

regarding heavy size. i figured by reading around the forum, that ppl experience diffrent results on same device when flashing in.ex a 6mb pagepool. So I decided to leave it up to you guys to flash the pagepool you want, since thats so easy now flashing the pagepool via activesynk.
regarding the little green guy in my theme, was just 4 fun, I have not decided what to use when I release my future roms.
I will spend some time on research 4 awhile, I really want to og deeper into tweaking the rom, and try to gain more knowlege about the registry and how it works.
I will do alot of testing on the rom as I modify it. i want to be sure that everything (as good as) is working properly before I give it out

Sorry if discussed before, but is there a possibility to have a Finger Scrolling (in standard Contacts, IE, etc.) without installing the whole ROM? In a sort of CAB file?

if its got the foundations already and is still development i think mizilla could make somthing brilliant here. ther is a list of dev points and a key 1 is to speed it up. as for i player duno have a play arround see if u get it working.
suppose the key thig is do u think it will be as brilliant as thier firefox. and can it overtake opera.
ithink if they get a lot of ppl interested in addon dvelopment it could be amazing thier taking about a sync app to sync bookmarks etc with firefox. also posibility of a thunderbird mobile

no idea there isnt a date yet thats offical Beta but not sure when ther gona the first RC ready. theres still a little work to be done... but i think its gona be a awsome browser

just gave it a try... rendering wise it's quite good but unfortunately it's also quite slow... doesn't chew much memory (~10%) so I'm actually able to have TF3D up at the same time too

have a look in the fennec folder at some of the preferences, it can be made faster.
xulrunner has pipelining off by defailt for example..

It takes a huge amount of time to launch, and the scroll speed is very slow. Didn't even tested more.

had the Universal on WM5 but then my last phone was symbian ... i love having the huge amount of customisation and much more development back million and 1 roms to choose from

yeah I've been looking at a couple of the JS scripts, but didn't want to edit b/c they look a bit messy (on MobilePad anyways at least!).... did find that you can access a about:config page like Firefox but that one didn't have much options in it to tweak.
will poke around a bit more and see how we go...

yea keep an eye on the pages id expect regular updates. i messaged mozilla about the bad links and i actually got a reply off one of the fennec devs! you tend to jsut be ignored by the big developers. and it got fixed within a few hours the download link on

Hi everyone! I recently bought a T-mo Wing on ebay and as it's my first pda phone I did exactly the same every newbie does: I've messed things up.
The first problem was that I started to download and install every app I thought I would use. Soon realized that IN FACT I would use 10% of all that ans started uninstalling things. Till there, I was good, but then I found pocket mechanic pro and its "registry tweaker & cleanup" killed my voice command and made the phone loop forever on bootup unless I remove the memory card. Besides, I have memory shortage problems and lots of things I will never use like myFaves, t-zones, tons of icons and silly images .... So my questions are ....Is there any T-mo "official" ROM with all the T-mo stuff removed?? I don't have problems with the rest of the apps and bricking the phone is not an option: I'm latin american!! used wing was really a financial effort for me!! The second question would be: Is there any way to restore the registry keys that pocket mechanic erased?? I know the answers might have been already posted but I've been browsing the forums for about 6 hours with no success ..... Can anyone help me on this??

The easiest way to go back is to do a hard reset. (Hold the two softkeys and press the soft reset key.) As far as "official" ROM, there isn't, but there are a lot of third party ROMs. If you hardSPL your phone (which runs the slight risk of bricking your phone) then you brick-PROOF your phone.

The thing is that if I hard reset my wing all the T-mo stuff will be there again, and some of it is non removable. There are lots of pictures and icons that I won't ever use. What if I take the latest T-mo ROM and delete all that without modifying anything else?? I mean, no t-zones, no my faves and no TONS of avatar pictures.... would that be possible?? It's possible, you have to dump the ROM and then recook it, though.
You could also wait for my SuperJustKitchen and build your own custom ROM. ^_^ But either way, you HAVE to HardSPL. There are no ROMs that can be flashed with the stock SPL other than the stock one.

That's exactly what I'm going to do!! I'll wait for your SuperJustKitchen and remove all unneeded stuff from the latest official T-mo Rom. In the meantime, I will try to recover my voice command without hard resetting just for fun. I really don't need it because my spoken english is horrible and by the time it worked, almost never recognized what I said . Anyway, it really annoys me that a supposed registry cleanup made by pocket mechanic messed up the system that way. The Wizcode forum has a solution that actually works just for the full version of MVC. Nor upgrade nor OEM are fixed by that "patch". I would like to know if there's any way to decompile it and make the corrections manually. It's supposed to restore some deleted registry keys but I couldn't find wich ones ....Would that be possible??

If it's a cab, it can turned into a OEM/EXT package which lets you see the registry keys by themselves.

Hi again! It was not a .CAB .... It was a [email protected] .exe file. Tried to open with winRAR and 7zip but with no success. Finally i found the dump of the .reg file that voice command uses. I was not able to import it (there are some path errors and I know NOTHING about reg scripting), so i had to write all the keys and values manually. It worked!!!! After a soft reset voice command was there! After that I disabled it because my english sucks and VC could not understand what i said ..... but still works!! Still waiting for your kitchen to make a new ROM for my wing .... Thanks again for taking the time to answer me ...

I don't know well, but...
Maybe you can have good luck in hard-resetting and do not enter into customization, but soft-resetting.
Another way is going into Extended ROM and analizing the .cab files there, and erasing some of them (better if you save them into another place).
Please wait till someone "better than me" will confirm those data I told.
On the other way, if you don't like T-Mo ROMs the best you can do is Hard-SPL and flashing a new radio+ROM. You by yourself realized Ivan has good ROM's. And the one I'm using now is also good.

Signing Help. I KNOW, I TRIED Q&A. Its About Themes!!

Hey guys .. well i have a pretty sick ass theme put together, and i am at a loss here .. and i have PM'd almost everyone and the new flag-away response is gtalk me .. psh .. if it were only that easy ..
now question one .. when i go to sign my *.zip, it will let me apply the zip, boot, function almost 90 percent correctly, and than i will proceed to get a multitude of errors in my OS. Mainly my GApps. I have found that this only has happened on recent Cyan .2.3.1, and .1.2.3 - as well as EVERY 2.0. 2.01, and 2.1 build.
I NEED YOUR GUYS HELP. it just keeps telling me that i have a f/c and the usual shmiiit in between.. i am ready to pull my hair out. i have used Stericsons tool, and the cmd.exe method, and the right click. WHICH ALL USED TO WORK FINE..

but the first thing i did when i clicked this thread is clicked back but then i thought id give it a chance, next time try not to type in rediculous sized fonts it doesnt get you any more help than typing in regular sized font

the reason your theme doesnt work on eclair is because most of the files in drawable within the framework-res.apk have been moved to drawable-mdpi
edit: nvm i think you said they work 90% on eclair roms? if so, disregard this post lol

yea i didnt think the massive font showed through the Header all the way through to the XDA welcome screen, damn im good...

This isn't going to be a signing issue if you can flash your theme. You may want to post your theme or at least the images you edited so people can see what you did, you may have editing something you shouldn't have or did it incorrectly. Do you know what .9's you edited before? Did you look at any changes between the images from one version to another? In 4.2.x some thing have changes and images needed to be reprocessed and such for certain .9's. Btw, most willing to help would rather do it in gtalk over PM's. I know I do because it is easier to explain things on the fly rather then keep going back and forth on a PM.

FUSION

Ok I just flashed Fusion seems to be a very cool ROM by the ond and only adam whatever his last name is, the guy that spits roms out like snoop spits lyrics, anyway really like this ROM alot, but once again I am having issues with my gallery when i click camera folder the photos come up in order of last to first, so I shoot a picture and I want to edit and post it, but I have to scroll through 500 pics to get to it, this is a pain in the a** as I am doing this all day, so i have come up with 2 ROMS that dont do it, Continuum and Supernova, I really want to hang out on this ROM for a while as I think its really cool with the blue theme and honeycomb feel to it.....I am beginning to think its my phone as no one else seems to have this issue.......any help would be great...

ok I went into pref panel sorted it by date, nothing, went into it via mounting to computer and changed it via date, nothing the gallery is stuck on some jack a** setting and i cant get it working the way i need to i guess i am off to firefly

It may not be just your phone but you are the only one that notices as you use it differently then others. Your best bet it to use one of Adams Q&A threads instead of opening a new thread.
