Can please someone provide me with a cab ou rom update that Removes/Replaces the vodafone splashscreen?
That splash is the one that appears in second place when booting, with the rom radio info on the bottom, this for a kaiser from a friend of mine.

Hi, I currently have ROM 1.40 and radio 1.15 from the official Qtek website but I have the occasional "no sound" problem with the phone, solved by a soft reset.
I have seen some of you have ROM 1.42 which apparently solves this issue but I don't know where to download it from and would like a clean ROM, i.e. not branded O2 or anything...
Is that possible and will that fix my issue? Thanks

If anyone could provide any help that would be great. My phone did not ring at all today although people tried to call me - I only got a voicemail indication after doing a soft reset... It's really annoying.

I just finishing upgarde radio rom of my dopod 838 with cingular radio rom
btw after finishing & restart the device, they can't going up to the windows mobile system, and still runnting at booting mode with cingular booting picture.
also i cant see the radio rom version at boot screen, did they lost?
then I ask to the servcie centre at my place, they say my dopod must be buy a new dopod mainboard $300 US. and chenge them
Did the service centre haven't hardware/software installer for repairing my dopod?
Well you will find that if you use a Radio that has not been made for you phone, it could do alot of damage. So you may find that the service centre is right!
If you used one of the Radio Only Roms then the splash screen would not have changed.
Download and flash one of the Roms for your exact Device & Carrier.
Then find the sticky post on Radio Only Roms and download and flash the one you want.

First, if you have a Cingular Splash Screen then you used the wrong Rom since you only wanted the Radio updated.

Second, the problem is not that your device is locked but rather that the Cingular Rom reports version 2.25 which is higher than the two Dopod Roms (2.19 English & 2.23 Chinese).
What you need to do:
Download one of the Radio Only Roms (from the above link). Extract the contents to a folder on your PC.
Download the desired Dopod Rom Upgrade Utility from here: http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=Wizard_Upgrades
Change the file extension to from .exe to .rar and then extract "nk.nbf" file to the folder from step 1 (overwrite the existing file).
Enter Bootloader Mode (Press Voicedial button + comms manager button + soft reset. You will get a screen with 3 colored bars).
Connect your phone to PC with USB Cable.
Run "ROMUpdateUtility_Wizard_NoID.exe"
Let us know if you get it fixed.

i have searched more than one hour for a solution of my problem but i didn't found anything that can help me. So here is my problem:
Everytime when i reboot my Kaiser i will get a Carrier Bootscreen on the position where the Softwarereleases (Romversion, Radioversion, ....) will be shown. I have flashed different Cooked Roms and Splash Screens. The Logo from my provider is always here. Is it possible to remove or replace this screen with an other picture ?

Hello again,
thanks for this link but i have tried this before. After the bootloader screen was flashed the provider screen is also here again. I will see short the flashed bootloader screen and after this the provider screen is upcoming. My provider is ONE from austria.

In active sync, open file explorer.
look in \windows, I found an animated.gif (HTC) and a animated_KPN.gif (this is my operator)
So if I am correct you should find one like "animated_ONE.gif"
try to replace these files with a animated.gif you like

I try update my windows 6.0 to 6.5 yesterday, i fallow all steps and during the update, when the update is in 16% a error happen. I try user the recovery but doesn't work, and now when i start my phone, show the tri-color screen and stay.
What i can do to fix this?
Important remember, i need to use the jump spl 1.93 to get out of the white screen for update the windows.

Reflash your original carrier rom. from the tri-color screen.
Since WM 6.5 has not and will not be released for the Kaiser, I am assuming that you are trying to flash a custom 6.5 rom, and have followed all the steps described here:

Did you follow all the steps in the link I gave you above before you tried to flash the Hyperdragon rom ?
What I mean is to find the original rom that came with your phone, in the Kaiser Wiki and reflash that on to your phone.
How can i know what is my original rom?

Where and when did you get your phone and who is the carrier ?
I from Brazil, the carrier is CLARO, i buy of a friend in this month, i have no idea when he buy.
In the box of the phone, is write: "Windows Mobile 6 Professional"
have another way to fix this?
What is the built of your tytn II i.e. its HTC TYTN II or AT&T Tilt ???
if its of HTC then try to update the latest rom 6.0 or 6.1 with radio (as both are official) of HTC available on kaiser wiki page and vice versa for AT&T Tilt.
Hope it'll sort out ur problem.

Hi I have just got a breeze off ebay and want to put the SPV C700 rom on it but everytime I try I get Error [260]
I get the tri colour screen but it doesnt go any futher than this

Is it for sure Orange SPV C700 phone? Maybe it's an another brand equivalent (Qtek 8600...)

Your SPL is higher than upgrade file SPL... Its your problem (i think). You have to first use SSPL and then try install favorite ROM. Usefull informations you can find also HERE
