You can either use your own domain/register a subdomain under them

Sorry if this breaks any rules, feel free to delete this thread if it does. Good luck and thanks!
Best one I ever ran across was 110mb.com
You can find a list of all the free web hosting sites here

I am using 000webhost
Though i encounter one of their ip a downtime problem...
Hitting search button for freehost, you can find much more better and bigger space/transfer for free...
Referr to the PREVIOUS LENGHTY POST and the one you find on this page below:
http://www.webhelper4u.com/scams/spywarestromer.html
It seems like we have our site OWNER...
It did a whois serch.. followed by a high level telephone# search and got address and company associated with the exact telephone number as stated above in www.000webhost.com whois info.
I don't know but from the entire database of that single phone number thedomain is hidden behind the PROXI....this may be a deliberate deed to "not get caught"... or something elas...who knows...
The amazing part is that some people actually said they got paid for their referrals...one guy got $330 from them... so he said... and allot of other people had and are great full for success and their "great" service ...it FREE right..TOTALLY FREE thats why they don't offer upgrades and so on... it like having free online storage.
BUT ITHINK THIS IS A SCAM... so be ware guys...!!!! better to PAY or use freeservers ad supported.pages... a great hosting company is www.dot5host.com
SPREAD THE WORD ...they are wicked people out there....lets make a change!!! XDA-Developers.. Keep posting your findings...lets protect our fellows...
Since post is not is this thread Help ful tracking results have be acquired for 000webhost.com's possible orgin.
I also am using 000webhost.com
but i am keen about security... whle doing intense investigation i found out that the EXACT "website whois" of this hosting server belonged also to a number of sites of which one was LABELED SCAM... because they steal passwords adn user info and sell these.. stuff or send you SPAM.
You have to admit its not worth it...
Stop flooding the thread my friend...
Anyway godaddy is a good host server company.
I didn't find 000webhost wrong with their free services...
For your security don't use your very important pw(used in email) and info using the server.
OK xda2jojo (Moderator)
i'm sorry dude... just wanted to help.. and ... being a first timer... Info overload got the best of my time...
Kool man...

XDA-Dev equivalent sites?

Ok, as does everyone else here I absolutely love this site, to quote another forum member, you guys made my $800 brick work. The only problem is that now I am spoiled on all other forum sites. I really realized this as i started researching my new toy, a fujitsu tablet PC. As a tablet newbie I was, and still am, looking for a site like this one...but for tablets. It's not the first time I've been looking for a site "like XDA but for [insert topic]".
I thought it might be beneficial if I could find out what other, non-WM phone related forum sites the geniuses among you are also active on. Hopefully I could find a similar community for tablet pc's or whatever. Sooo, lets sound off on what other forums/sites you might be active on and/or have found really usefull for other things techno-geeks are into.
My XDA-Dev for China news and biz info site is www.chinalawblog.com
My XDA-Dev for online mandarin language material is www.csulb.edu/~txie/online.htm
My XDA-Dev for oogling other people's photoshop skills is www.somethingawful.com
There, I showed you mine, now it's your turn
My XDA Dev for Everything related to Xbox Hacking --> xbox-scene.com (nothing illegal on this site either )
hmmm... where do I start....
Tek-tips = http://www.tek-tips.com - for almost anything pc related, free registration and rather helpful...
sorry, drawing a blank now.. will have to edit post later when I am not hung over...
yes of course.
http://www.ppc-welt.info/community/index.php
a very good and large community in the german-speaking area.

GOD Damn!!!!
coolest cabs????
I got the coolest cabs, but since I won't share unless it is freeware, I would suggest reading up on various programs then head over to Handango. xda has a strict no warez policy, so if you were hoping for some freebies, warez style, I won't be able to help. Pimping your device is easy and the dev's here have some really awesome beta's and freewares. Just search...
FreeCabs
I stumbled across this site
http://www.freecabs.de/
a while ago, I don't know how good or "cool" they are since I don't think I've used any of them. But they are Free!
The page is set out for viewing on a mobile screen, in one long column.

Big Ups to XDA-Developers

I just read a closed thread in the X1 forum involving a WinMo hater, and I did find it a little amusing, and I understand it was closed with the statement not to bring it up again, so I decided to bury this in the off-topic section.
My point is, though, that WinMo has its issues as does every other phone platform, but I have decided to stick with WinMo not simply for its technical advantages that I prefer, but primarily for the outstanding service and support that is provided by the very accomplished contributing members of XDA-Developers.
Most (if not all) of the people who contribute here do it as a labor of love, and I have not found anything else quite like this anywhere else on the web.
So for all those who make this in my (somewhat biased) opinion the best online community on the WWW, BIG UPS! Good Job!
Most importantly Thank You for making my trip through the PocketPC world as fulfilling as I could have imagined.
Agreed. I dont venture to that forum as i dont have one but having support from XDA and PPCGEEKS has made my device, whatever it has been, the best out there.
I agree, xda-developers is the best mobile community.
However my next phone will be the Nokia N82. I'm going to try the Symbian OS. Nothing against windows mobile, but I'm sure many of us can agree that most HTC and other phones just quite aren't powerful enough to handle windows mobile. I'm sticking with the N82 till there is a blazing fast windows mobile device packed with great features. (Maybe it's the tegra chip I'm waiting for?)
Plus, switching to S60 gives me something new to learn about! And now I can play quake 3, doom, GBA, SNES, and everything else I've always dreamed of playing on a phone!
i loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee xda

1800PocketPC.com -- What do you guys think ?

Hi fellas
I have a windows mobile site 1800PocketPC.com, its just over a year old. I was wondering if you guys have heard of it ?
We usually post about freewares and the latest hardware news about windows mobile. We dont have a forum for people to hang out coz we think as long as xda-devs and ppcgeeks are there why would anyone need a forum for windows mobile. I was hoping to get some constructive criticism about the site and ways we can improve the site.
You can also subscribe to our RSS ot Twitter
I know your site for some time and it´s very good, I like the format (exept for a narrower line of adds on the right)
Congrats!
I go all the time
I really like the site,
only thing is you could be be a little bit more "selective" or "picky"
At least what I think this could be "Pearls and beauty" of xda-developers.com for the average guy.
- I really like the category style!
- The Wallpaper stuff: Naaaahh I think you will catch some fishes with this but is it really needed? I think it makes the site look a bit cheap.
- RSS and twitter is great: every Headline was a hit so far (well some exeptions but I think beauty is in the eye of the beholder).
- Customisable rss and twitter by categorys and user would be the ultimate I think (but this would almost need the power of a socialnetwork)
- You are already on the top scores of google! (at least when I search for something)
- You can discover the real beauty of google translator when visiting your site Microfi Nitrogen -> Microfi Stickstoff (Germans get the joke)
but besides of the jokes it can be really usefull.
- I can´t test right now but have you checked "freedom from barriers"? The new "touchscreen generation" of phones might be great for handicapped persons. Would also be great to have a rating system for them as well.
So far really great
THX for this site
thanks for the kind words fellas.
@ moesfeld : Customisable rss and twitter by categorys is a great idea, I will look in to getting it done in the near future.
I am in the dark about "freedom from barriers" , do you have any links from where I can read more regarding this ?
Hi sajio,
You have really done a great job with the site, i actually am now quite addicted to your site to catch on the software which i miss on XDA. So keep up the good work and i hope with all the frequent updates and personal attention, you have made it full of valuable resources. What i think is keep your site fresh alway like you do now, and you would not need anything additional.
Regards
Sharif Ansari

Well it pretty much depends on what cms you use. Many have the "accessability for disabled" already inbuild.
I found the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines
Also I found the Web Accessibility Toolbar that lets you check if you meet the guidelines.
I know your site a while ago, and I like very much.
Keep it up
I go there @ll the time nice job!
thanks guys
i love it and subscribe to rss for it. thanks for you hard work.
you are welcome
