Does anyone know where to get a version 2.0.29077 Biotouch Cube like that found in Duttys new ROM with the custom FPS feature..I've searched throughout the forum and I've only been able to locate the older version biotouch cube which does not allow a custom FPS

thanks but the cube he has on his server is the same cube as the one found on http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=343583
Unfortunately that cube seems outdated compared to the one on Duttys new ROM. I checked in the registry and that cube shows up as "BioTouch Ver"="05102007 V2.0" whereas duttys show up as 2.0.29077

Hi Marius -
You are looking at two different pieces of software on that phone.
The first one is the HTC Home screen for the TyTNII, which HAS been copied over to the Trinity. You can tell if that is the home screen used in the ROM because it will usually be shown as HTC Home Kaiser or something similar. You can also install this using a standalone CAB file. Search the board to find the cab, it's in the Trinity WM6 portion of the board.
The second one is a piece of software called Touchflo. The real Touchflo software requires that the touchscreen hardware be the same as the Kaiser or the HTC Touch. Those two phones use different touchscreen hardware (physical chips and the digitizer screen) than the Trinity. So, no one has been successful using the real Touchflo software on the Trinity, and probably never will.
However, there have been some attempts to get the same functions from other software. I've seen something called alphatouchflo, and there are other packages. Note that they do not have all of the same functionality. For example, I haven't seen any of them that could allow use f the scrolling feature to replace sidebar scrolling. I've only seen good scrolling of a third-party contacts list (see PocketCM as an example). This software is also available in a standalone CAB file if you like.
There is a thread devoted explicitly to using Touch Flo on the Trinity in the WM 6 section. If you take a minute or two you can easily find it.
Good luck!
Mike

Hi Marius -
The other devices that use Touchflo have different hardware which is why the Touchflo works for them. The device shown in the video is the HTC Prophet series, which uses the same touch screen as the Kaiser/TyTN II (which is different form the Trinity). You will not find any software or ROMs that can run the Touchflo software on the Trinity. As far as CAB software compared to a ROM, the only difference is in the method of installing. It doesn't matter if you install the software using a CAB file or if it is already included in a ROM, except that you can remove software installed using a CAB if you don't like it.
I suggest you continue watching the thread about Touchflo on the Trinity in the WM6 folder. That thread contains the most current information about using Touchflo on the Trinity.

ok.. thanks for informations
Hello
I tried to find suitable Cube application for my HTC Kasier(genui from HTC)
Please advice me which one is the best for not advanced users...I mean way of configuration needed after instalation?
regards
I'm going to be really annoying here:
Search the forum.
Not only are there numerous posts about the various cubes, there is even a wiki.
Perhaps we can close this thread now.
There is something to know about the cube applications : they do slow down your device.
Each time you will press the screen, it will slow down the running application, because the cube application will interract to know if by pressing the screen you try to access to the cube application ...
I discovered that by using a paint application. When I was drawing pictures, it was very very slow. I deinstalled the cube application, and then I could draw pictures with no problems...
So you should think twice before installing these apps !
The only animated today plug-in I've liked so far is Ultimate Launch - but I guess that's not a true cube. I know Dutty's buddys seem to love his implementation of the cube. Why don't you check that out?
Also you should try dutty's vista suite, the cube and touchflo are integrated there, no need for configuration and works really well and stable. Although, it doesn't have four pages or fancy animations as in others.
Hi,
Yesterday I flashed Dutty's Diamond V1 Build 19588 to my Vodafone v1615 NL phone, only to discover that JAVA wasn't included. So I looked around in this wiki and found this link.
It links to several cabs of Esmertec Java which are supposedly the same as the ones included standard.
After installing I immediatly noticed that the splashscreen of the JAVA app wasn't very clear. The letters were grainy etc. I tried both with and without cleartype. I figured that it wouldn't matter. However, when I downloaded Opera Mini, I found that it was SLOW. And not only that, where I used to be able to pan around using my finger (ie swiping it over the screen to move the screen fluently) it now doesn't work. This is because of the lag there is. So on the original ROM it was able to pan without ANY problems. Does anybody have any idea how this problem can be fixed?
I tried all Esmertec cabs that were listed!
Thanks!
Confirm that Opera Mini is slow. I think Dutty is onto it on his fix/next ver.

I have manage to fix the windows media player in the Rom, took ages to figure out,
I have added Remote Desktop and Esmertec java
poorlyduck diamond windows media player skin
I will create add on cabs for add on languages like gullums for diamond keyboard.
I'm still considering to remove the htc album out the rom, its very nice but a bit buggy for now,
everything remains the same, I might update the CE OS for next release
PS. IF ALL GOES GOOD I WILL RELEASE A CUBE AND LITE VERSION AS WELL

While Nandowong is correct, it is well known that actually using a rom with Manilla 2d cooked into is actually much more responsive. If you install the cab file it may act too laggy for your liking. I use 2D now from Laurentius26 Here and It is much faster than when i was experimenting with my own cooked ROM. There are things Chefs have done to optimize Manilla in a clean rom.
Just my advise, but I would back up your info and flash an actual M2D rom. There are a few to choose from and I am sure once you go to Manilla you will never again want to use any other home screen
Here is the link to the original Manilla 2D just in case you havent found it yet.
Here ya Go
I saw this post about installing the *NEW* Touch Flo 3D from the Touch Pro II onto a pocket PC (link below). Has anyone trid this on a AT&T Fuze (Touch Pro), does it work cleanly? Any problems?
http://pocketpc-live.com/pocket-pc/how-to-install-touch-flo-3d-from-touch-pro-ii.html
Thanks
yes it runs clean(suggest XBMOD TF3D 2.1) if u want just the touchflo, but for me though after flashing EnergyROM with 2.1 Manila TF3D which is VERY similar to the ones on TP2 and Diamond2 it ran soo much better, just expect that manila wont auto rotate, you have to configure it yourself using a change screen software....
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=542113
Read through the first page.. Thats the newest release V2.1.5
It also explains how to get it to auto rotate.
The cab file for 2.1.5 should be out any day now. 2.1 is released already though. But just wait for the newest one is what I would recommend
