HELP! i bricked my 9100 after installing the Molski.Biz 2.26

so i downloaded the wwe version found on the Molski.Biz site
it installed ok then after the count down to intalling the extended rom it start installing stuff then it restarts.... that was the end of my 9100 i tried to turn it back on so many times...
is there any way to fix this...
please some one respond

Which rom do you have in the first place.
Gotta, know more info to know if you really did brick your phone.

It looks like you flashed the wrong Rom!
Do you have a G3 (IPL/SPL 1.xx or 2.xx) or a G4 (IPL/SPL 1.xx.001 or 2.xx.001) Wizard?
If you flashed a G3 Rom into a G4 Wizard or the other way around you bricked your Wizard.
Please provide me with as much info as you possibly can about your Wizard.

I flashed my G3 phone with the wwe rom yesterday. After the flash the phone booted fine, then installed some software and my contacts, did a soft reset and bam, phone would not boot. Every time it would freeze at the post screen. I tried about 30 times, then i did a hard reset with the top two side buttons and the soft re-set. The phone then booted and has been working fine since then.

I dont know for sure if it can be fixed. Look around on this particular forum, there are a lot of topics with people with the same problem as you.

Big Time Panic!!! Help please!!

I am not sure what I have done. I have a cingular 8125 G4. Downloaded the Risidioro g4 rom upgrade and my phone was not probably CID unlocked. Thought that did not matter cause I was able to install Mr Clean ROM couple of months back. I read some users in the forum who successfully upgraded from Mr Clean.
Everything went nice and smooth, the upgrade completed 100% and when it finished and rebooted it stopped at the blue, red screen and got stuck there. I did soft reset, hard reset but every time that blue, red screen comes up and gets stuck.
Has my phone become a "nice but dead piece of furniture" ? Oh! man..that would devastating!
Please help!

All right, no response yet but it is only a hour since I posted but for me it seems eternity already. I did something further reading and got some hope. My phone might not be dead yet. Somebody said, if I can get to the bootloader mode, I still have some hope.

Got another guy who successfully got out of the jail by having a SD image. Do you think it would work for me too? If it works where can I find it? I already e-mailed the guy, seems like a nice guy, let's see if he replies.

Do you see a USB connection if you connect it to Active sync, normally it is showing in the lower left or right corner, I'm not sure.
If so, you should be able to re-flash again, best would be to do this with your previous installed ROM.

Thanks a lot Vilem for your reply. Yes I see a USB connection..but I guess we can't get to activesync because the OS did not load yet. I had the Mr Clean ROM installed and I tried to go for it but failed. What should I do now? Go for the original shipped Cingular ROM?Anybody knows which version it was and where can I find it?

Means connected, try it. Mine crashed a couple of times like that and managed to get it going again.

You mean I should run the Mr Clean update utility which is the last successful ROM update or the orginial Cingular shipped ROM?

Bigmonty - after getting into allsorts of issues after trying to upgrade my G4 to various 3.2 based ROMS, i also got to the bootloader screen with the USB indicator in the righthand corner.
This worked for me - take the battery out for an hour or so, put back in and soft reset. make sure you have a good charge. reboot the PC and plug in the device.
Now the only ROM i can recover a working device from isto use the latest ROM from the phone supplier. in my case from the club i-mate site (my device is SIM unlocked).

Thanks AirWol. I was able to go back to Mr Clean successfully, which was a great relief. What I was doing wrong was, I was using the wrong update utility of Mr Clean. I should have used the one which was modified according to Risidioro guide for use in g4 chips. But I was using the original Mr Clean instead.
BTW, anybody knows whether it is possible to update g4 phones to the latest Risidioro or Cingular 2.26 ROMS? That is, can I modify according to Rididioro guide for use in g4? Anybody?
Probably I haven't learned enough lessons yet!

ROM flash gone wronge! help!

I was upgrading my t-mobile 8150(?) the k-jam with the new windows mobile 6 and in the middle of it my comp crashed!! now i am stuck at the bootloader mode (3 colored screen) and when i try to redo it i get to 99% and get a 302 error message. i follow the instructions given but keeps going in circles. its a G3 so is my phone bricked or is there a way to save it? i've been looking at this site all day but am now just more confused. lol thanks for your help!

No your phone isn't bricked. As long as you can get into the bootloader screen you should be ok. What you need to do is flash an official carrier rom either tmobile 2.26 or wizard love rom after you that than you can reflash to wm6. look at the stickies in the wizard forums that is where you can find these roms.

Thanks for the info but seems my techno curse continues. I tried the wizard love rom but it was in a different language and whem i tried the tmobile 2.26 i got "error 274 connection." Any more suggestions? Again thanks soo much for an issue I'm sure has been posted here a thouand times.

This happens to me all the time. I always use the Cingular 2.25 rom, it works perfectly and I have an I-mate K-JAM. Then, do the WM6 upgrade, but ensure all of your Norton and Antivirus and background running apps are shut down. Good luck.

yes also take out your mini sd card if you have one. even though its in another language it will work. "AVANTI means next. so just keep hitting that and you will be fine.

hi all. one more little thing. after adding the new rom to get it back to life, now the numbers don't match so i can't upgrade to wm6. i have ipl 1.01 spl 2.26. advice?

flash to the tmo 2.26 or cingular 2.25...that will give you an IPL/SPL of 2.xx
then, you can flash to WM6

there's any other way to flash without usb cable?? sorry to bug in this thread but i lost my usb connection somehow and did a hard reset and still doesn't work. my phone charges. and no is not my computer cuz my wifes phone same as mine does sync i have a tmobile mda also known as the cingular 8125.

keep reflashing buttons rom until both ipl/spl are the same number. if they are different, then the flash didn't complete correctly. (it happens often, so it's kinda normal). just keep reflashing. after both ipl/spl are the same, then CID unlock and then update to an official carrier...then flash a wm6.

Check if "USB" displayed when in bootloader mode (Camera+reset) with Wizard connected to PC.
If so, you may try to flash another ROM through bootloader.

it does shows but how can i flash?? it still won't connect o my pc. my pc doesn't recognize it. but it does recognize my wifes phone.

Try to run RUU straight with Wizard connected and running in bootloader mode

Problem Flashing My Imate K-jam to WM6

I tried reflashing my IMATE KJAM to WM6
The process went till 35% and then got disconnected.
Now its stcuk on the Bootloader Screen(Three colors screen)
Tried the Hard Reset(comm mann+voice button+reset)
It doesnt do a hard reset, the same screen flashes back again.
Tried reflashing i get the Error 300
The previous ROm was crossbow underground edition.
Please help and let me know whats next that i can do.

You know what the totally histerical thing about this is? This is the exact same reason I made my first post. LOL.
Alright I'm gonna try to help you seeing as how it doesn't look like too many others are looking here.
I have several questions first before I can help you.
1. Who is your wireless service provider? IE: T-Mobile, Cingular, Etc...
2. What Is your IPL/SPL?
Answer these 2 questions for me and I will be able to better help you.

Now the irony is i am here in nepal and i use the phone as a simple mobile phone, but as far as i know i remember flashing a T-Mobile ROM while upgrading to WM6, the IPL and SPL both are 2.26, i unlocked the device while upgrading..

ok lets c if I may be of some help here,if u r in bootloader screen than try to reflash again T-mobile 2.26 rom and if it goes alright than go on to flash any other wm6 cooked roms.
or
if it doesnt flash than i wud suggest u reflash back the buttons 105 rom to get back to ipl/spl 1.05,than again use lokiwiz tool to unlock cid & reflash T-Mobile to gain ipl.spl 2.26
hope it works out.it happened once with me also, I did the same & now I'am running wm6 XM6r3 Rom,Secondly u can use the WST TOOL by Mestrini to verify ur device status, u can even Cid unlock ur device with it, Goodluck

Wizard Brick after Flashing the ROM

Hi!
I have a T-mobile MDA and I flashed its ROM using SOFTSPL to WM6.1. It worked fine. It showed IPL and SPL 2.xx or so. I flashed it again using SOFTSPL and when I reset the phone, it never come up again. The battery was charged over 70%. The phone does not switch on now nor it shows any symptoms of any life. Can't put the phone in Bootloader mode.
Hope anybody of you can help me out of this. Awaiting anxiously for the support.

"2.xx or so"? A big first step would be to know if you have a G3 or G4 device and what ROM you flashed to it.

If you had already flashed it to WM6, why did you flash it again? What software did you use, sounds like you've used the G3 software on your G4 wizard though..

in first you must to download official ROM (see on xda-developers ftp). Enter in bootloader mode ( press "power on" + "camera" and reset), connect to PC and run downloaded file.
And read other posts to indificate G3 or G4 lock.

I think that it was G4 and I accidently flashed it with a G3 Rom update.

Actually, I was testing different cooked versions to determine what is good for me. I flashed the phone a couple of times and finally did flashed with some ROM which resulted in the current situation.
Now, I am not even able to switch the mobile on. No response when I connect it with PC.
I don't know what to do now. Any guidance on this issue.

Oh my god. Few posts above is what to do! Can you read? Can you search? If you are in bootloader you can flash your wizard. But first you should know if your device is G3 or G4 because the procedures are a bit different. Second for both you need to download your stock ROM. Third if you know which type of device you have, you can flash following and understanding the tutorials for each device...
