Hey guys, installed the latest rom from Dutty a few days ago and today at the gym i noticed that my music was playing from my speaker and my wired headset at the same time. It never was like this before on my previous roms i had installed.
Is there a fix for this? Tried a search couldn't find anything related to this.
Thanks for the help.

hahaha, how long did you have it going for? People must of been looking at you like you were a nut.
A similar thing happened to me once. I forgot i set my alarm to a time I would be at the university. I was listening to my Ipod and on my Kaiser "the eye of the tiger" must of been playing for like 30 mins without me knowing. Everyone was looking at me like i was a weirdo.

Never had this issue (at least I think ). But when a ringtone is ringing and u have a headset the ringtone is playing too from both the headset and speaker. But I cant imagine how this could be related.
ya...i don't know what is going on...it didn't matter which app i used either to play the music.
I also flashed a new radio when i installed dutty's rom, i doubt that has anything to do with it....but u never know i guess.

Hi there, just got the phone last week. Forgive me if this question has been asked and answered before, but I did a search, and as far as I can tell this one:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=307787
Is the only one I see, and its not really the problem I am having so far as I can tell. My problem is that when listening to music the sound cuts off for a couple seconds (sometimes much longer) and then starts again. The music doesn't stop playing, the headphones just seem like they turn off and then back on again. I've updated to the Feb AT&T Rom from the HTC website thinking that the reported bluethooth improvement might fix it. Its still doing it.
Is there something out there that I am missing, do I need to do the headphone firmware upgrade as stated in the linked topic, or something thats not set up right with my phone? Do these bluetooth headphone just not work right with it?
Thanks in advance for any help.
Hello, I have a problem since a few days on my french Diamond.
When I listen to music, watch movies, and things that have sounds, through the headphone, I don't have the basses. It's extremly horrible to listen to.
I can only hear the high-pitched sounds. But when I listen to the radio, the sound is normal.
It was normal before, when I bought the phone, and when I hard reseted the phone, but after some time, the sound became horrible to listen to.
Does anyone have this problem???
Any one has a solution???
If I upgrade my ROM to a new official ROM, will it fix???
Thx
i would look around the media settings for an equalizer

Yes, that is a known problem. Don't worry, update to the new ROM like me.
RUU_Diamond_HTC_FRA_1.93.406.1_Radio_Signed_Diamond_52.29.25.12_1.00.25.05_Ship
I was having the same problem.
I found that if i went into the audio booster and checked the tick box and then changed the volume using the side buttons it came good again for some reason.
not sure if the check box had to be checked or unchecked but it did come good again after a couple of goes.
I've just upgraded my rom so hopefully this won't be a problem anymore for me.
Hello
I have recently experienced quite unpleasant problem with my G1 - basically, every time I receive a phone call or text message while listening to the music, the music player shuts itself down and when I open it again, it doesn't seem to play any music (even tho it looks like the song is actually playing, you cant hear anything).
Can anyone advise what could cause it? I've tried 3 different music players, every one of them appear to be subject of the same problem ;/
most likely because you've activated a sound notification on sms and call..ringtone obviously
Hmm, it happens in both silent mode and normal mode, if that's what you meant.
Any audiomods?
Hmm, none that I'm aware of, I've only even installed JesusFreke rom and that was it.
I'm fine with the music being paused when a call comes in, but it really bugs be that it stops (and then resumes) for everything: SMS, Calendar, E-Mail, general notifications, etc.
I guess Android simply can't handle multiple audio streams at the same time. We need PulseAudio for Android
Have you guys tried meridian from the market? Its all i've used since i got my g1 so cant comment on other music players, but when im listening to music and i get a call it stops, but as soon as i hang up it picks back up right where i left off... as far as text messeges and the such goes, the notifaction sounds right over the music and it never stops playing.
Im currently on soulife roger, but ive had jf when it was 1.0, dudecake, dude roger, cyanogen, and so on it they all reacted the same way. Ive also had stock and audio mods and all still same as far as this issue...

I use DoggCatcher to listen to my netcasts, there's no other app like that on the market. Though if you say it might be app's problem, I'll ask the dev about it.
Has anyone gotten this problem using HTC Music?

I've tried it with default music app, and it does not have that problem. So I guess it's app specific. I already got in touch with the developer of DoggCatcher.
Quick update:
I have just found out that it only happens when the headphones are plugged in. ANy idea why? :<

Hi,
Since a few weeks my Diamond lost its audio. It won't play any sound at all, although it plays the startup sounds and sometimes the ringtones. But whenever I answer a call or anything else, the sound is gone again.
Tried multiple hard resets and radio swaps, but no succes.
So, last week I installed GenY's android ROM, to try if the sound worked in android. And it did. Too bad android is not for every day use yet, so i NEED help
It surely is a software issue...
Got no warranty btw.
Anyone else suffering this problem?
Thanks
Hello,
I am new to this community so please don't be to harsh on me if somebody allready asked this question (Didn't find anything using the search though).
I own a 2015 P8 lite, using the Basic 608 Rom right now, but had the same issue with all other custom and stock roms that I've tried.
I am using my phone as a music player while jogging or exercising and i have some connectivity/bandwidth issues.
I keep losing the data connection to my headphones while listening tu some MP3. It seems that the BT connection between the devices is still online,
but no data is going through. This seems to be related to the distance between phone and headset,
but the direction the P8 lite faces and the angle seem to matter as well.
That wouldnt be much of an issue, if this would not happen at close range, (I'd even say closest range).
For example, i hold my phone in my right hand and the music would stop playing every time my arm swings back ,
where the distance is less than a yard... Quite annoying...
So here is the question...
Does anybody else have this or a similar problem? How did you solve this?
Or am I probably just facing the fact that my devices Bluetooth is broken?
is maybe even my music player (WinAmp) the reason for this?
(can't be the headset, because it happend with other sets as well while the set work perfectly on other devices)
This is one of the most used functions on my device, I'd appreciate some help here...

Bluetooth isn't made for motion transmitting, that's why almost everyone just put down their phones and send files via Bluetooth. As you may know, Bluetooth is an old thing, and it has alot of disadvantages. Try using another music player, like poweramp, or install viper4android. You didn't said whenever your Bluetooth speaker is a box with speaker or eardrums. The devices Bluetooth capabilities is the same as Galaxy S6 etc use, so that's not a problem. Maybe your speaker receiver is bad, or you bought something cheap with improvised Bluetooth. For now, just change the music player, try the sound whitout moving and than give us another feedback. Little to no chances that p8 lite is the fault here.
I did a little testing yesterday. I used 4 different music players, they all showed the same behaviour, so I guess it is not connected to them. All had these "dropouts" like the bandwith is minimized. I found out that this is not a motion issue but connected to position ans maybe angle. sometimes all I have to do is turn my head a little an the music would stop. It comes back when I move my head back to old position. if I weren't at very close range to the phone it say it is a distance thing, but it seems more like some kind of shielding... I guess i have to lend my wifeys phone and try whats going on then.. Oh, and I am speaking of In-Ear-Headphones

Than, the only remaining solution is to try your eardrums with another phone or p8lite with another eardrums. I don't really believe the phone is the problem here.

So i did a little testing with the MotoG3 and the HTC One M7. Both connected to my headset and showed the same behaviour.
Seems like I need a new headset, the issue is not caused by the smartphone(s)
Thanks for your help...

Told you... Before you buy, check with the P8 lite if the new headset is working how it should.
facing the same problem, BUT the headset work as a charm with different android phones!
In my case it was definitely the headset itself, bougth me a new, different one and everything ist fine now.
