Unable to flash Dutty's TouchFlo Final Rom 2 - Tilt, TyTN II, MDA Vario III Themes and Apps

When I try to flash my Tilt it hangs at the progress bar. It stays at 0% for about 30 seconds before it kicks out to the recovery mode. I remove the battery and then put it back in and all is well.
Anyone having the same issue or know what is wrong?
I am running Vista if that makes a difference.
Thanks.

Speaker issue

I flashed my Tilt for the first time lastnight to "Dutty's Official WM6.1 5.2.19199 UC RTM" and for some reason now my external speaker doesn't work at all... That means no clicks or chimes when I am operating my Tilt.... but worst of all that means no ringtones -_- I can't tell when people call me!
Am I missing some newbie setting?
you have to install a windows mobile 6.1. compatible radio ... like the radio rom in this unlocking package . http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=375583
Ugh... I was flashing a new radio file to try to fix my speaker issue, and it locked up at 95%... apon reboot I have the tri colored screen... and I had to use the Whitescreen fix to get it to flash to 95%.... Now that I am stuck at the tri color screen I can't seem to get it to work again (since I can't get in to run the white screen fix program on my Tilt).
Any suggestions?
MOD EDIT: This is a cross post and unrelated to the original thread question. - Cross posting breaches our rules.
You have started a new thread duplicating this post!!
do you have hard spl already installed ?
or is the original bootloader on the phone ?
you have first to install the bootrom to flas another radio or another rom than the original htc .
if your bootrom is already working there would be no problem and you can flash again .
press and hold camera and on button and force a reset with the stylus , press both buttons until the three coloured screen comes up , then you can gave the flas another try .
MOD EDIT: Sorry, the thread creator is confusing us all by posting the same question in two different threads and I have closed this one!!. But thanks for trying to help.
You really must read more. There are warnings posted in the ROM thread about using the correct radio.
There have been several threads posted about why sound has suddenly stopped working.
This thread is now redundant. In fact a quick search would have avoided the need to create it and you would have had your answer sooner

ATT Tilt 6.1 to 6.5 issues

I have been trying to upgrade to 6.5 for last five hours now but every single flash I tried it always go up to the 0% screen and fails. Does anyone know how can I fix this?
I just did mine this morning
I quickly found you have to unlock the phone 1st. I found software on here called "kaiser-HardSPLv1". I flashed my Tilt with that first, which I guess unlocked it and then flashed the 6.5 update.
It worked perfectly. I sure hope you have the same results.

Try reading the "flashing your first ROM" thread first. Then read it again. Then read it again.
You have to unlock the phone first, change SPLs, then you can flash a new ROM. If going to 6.5, make sure you flash a stock HTC ROM first (go to their website to download).
There's several threads and Wikis that explain everything. Half the threads on the board wouldn't be here if people would read!
kaiser SPL does it
I had some similar issues related to connectivity. kaiser-HardSPLv1 is def the way to go and reading all the instructions thoroughly is very much required; especially the one where it asks if you're phone is connected.
I did my recent flashing via Windows 7 RC 1, which I thought would be an issue. I had to reboot my computer after each flash step to regain connectivity. Using Windows Mobile Center, I simply waited for the check mark, or you can open "My Computer" and find your device there. Worked great! Love it!!
Another alternative step is to sync it up with a fresh copy of Win XP, on a spare laptop, if you have one.

LAGGY

hey.....
i just flashed my Blackstone....and but a cooked ROM....
the problem is every ROM i but...i tried alot of 6.1 and 6.5 ROMS...
and it's doesn't work correctly...
when i start my phone the smart mobility text changes color to blue and the colors are mixed....
i have to turn the back light off then on to get normal colors...
and that's not the only problem....
it takes forever to start....and it's very laggy.....and sometimes i have to remove the battery to shut it down cuz it froze
what should i do...what did i do wrong....?
No biggie, you just need to get your rom version updated...follow Digital Outcast's guide and you should be fine...http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=505377
You have the incorrect SPL version. As Sean3 pointed out, read Digital Outcasts thread and decide whether you want to go the USPL or HSPL routes.
Once you follow guide indicated above your problems should be fixed. If not, post further queries in that thread

Help! My Tilt2 froze halfway through a ROM flash...

I have done hundreds of ROM flashes and never seen this happen before. I have HardSPL installed and have already flashed this puppy several times. I am upgrading via MicroSD to EnergyROM Nov.9 21864 w/ Manila 2.5. It's stuck about halfway through the upgrade and I don't know what to do next in fear of bricking the phone or is it already too late? Should I remove the SD card and load a stock ROM onto it then try to enter bootloader mode again and flash? Please help!
Nevermind, I got tired of waiting for an answer so I went ahead and followed my own steps as above. It worked, I was able to get into bootloader and flash a new ROM. All is well.
You beat me in resolving the issue! I left my post below anyway
I would try flashing from your PC when the device is in Bootloader Mode. To get to the Bootloader mode if you don't know: press the power button while holding down the Volume Down button (do this from an off state). If you see what is mostly refered to as the tri-colour screen you are almost ready to flash from your PC. Plug in your USB data cable and wait for the driver to load and the screen text to go from Serial to USB on your device. Now run the .RUU file from the ROM you want to flash.
This method should work... if not, look on the Rhodium wiki. There may be some other methods listed that I don't know of to revive the device.
yeah, problem is there is NO 9 nov energy ROM for the GSM.......... it was an ut-oh............. but, just doing what you did with the good ROM and the SD, all fixed, look on NRG's "photon" and you'll see it happened to a couple of us.
Thanks for responding anyway. I flashed with the microSD card again, not with my PC, and it worked fine. Looks like I won't need to bring my Kaiser out of retirement after all.

Actually there is a Nov 9 Manila 2.5, but last I checked he hadn't updated the Changelog or the title of the thread yet. Click on the download link and you'll see it there.
Anyway, I suppose this thread no longer serves much purpose so feel free mods to kill it or just let it die a slow painful death.

I hate to say this but..... HELP!!!

I've been lurking with the XDA forum for quite sometime now and its my very first posting and I'm having difficulties finding answers on search box I just simply give up looking for appropriate answer to my question. Since I like to use the good old Winmo 6.1 rom (Davideuck_V-7_MSVC to be exact)my bad is I forgot to SPL to earlier version 1.15 so got a green kinda thing on my screen, so I apply Restore_Stock_SPL_115 and everything went fine. (I know I'm stupid ) Unfortunately after I update the Time and Date it suddenly appear " This concludes the beta test for this software release....... blah, blah,.... guess what? its a time bomb can't do anything on screen but to reset. So I decide to re-flash it again but I got stuck at 0% on bootloader mode and got Error 262, I tried to understand whats the meaning of it and I did, but never got any solution how? I tried to flash it with HSPLWrapper_Blackstone_156OliNex to restore Winmo 6.5 but I got stuck again on 0%. something unusual I tried to reflash more roms and it didn't work. All the Roms I've wont reach 1% Even flashing on SD card trick wont load. And my spl ver 1.15 can't flash anything. So I that's why I need your help desperately...
Near enough the exact same situation as me! I think that 1.15 file may have issues.

If you are getting an Error 262, you need to run manual sspl in order to resolve this. Read this post for the steps (post #2) and sspl tool (post #1) - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=505377. You can also get all of the steps needed to successfully flash. if you have questions, please post them in that thread.
It seems when I restart my phone normally, I noticed that the message about " This concludes the beta test for this software release....... blah, blah" the manila interface was behind it when I press the task manager and the volume buttons it responses means its not bricked (hope so) maybe the reason why I cant flash anything? Or whatever...Well that's my observation..... Please guys I needed my phone badly tomorrow
Did you not read my post . You can flash another rom, error 262 is common. You just need to use sspl before flashing to hspl 1.56.
if ur stuck with hspl and cant flash that than try uspl or try stock rom.... they get installed without hspl or uspl installed.... its available in the blackstone wiki section
and with stock rom get through tomorrow . than try hspl or uspl with custom rom later on when u have free time
Upgrade the ROM with latest official HTC release it upgrades the bootloader to ver 1.54 as well. Then you can install the newest version of HSPL or just use USPL to flash whatever cooked ROM you want.
Apologies on replying again here instead of posting on the designated thread , but forgive my innocence the thread says "" launch SSPL-Manual.exe from attachment, run it, wait until 1.07.OliNex tricolour screen says "USB" on it, then run the HardSPLWrapper_Blackstone.exe on the PC. "" how exactly that's going to be done? Currently I got the tri-color screen saying SPL-1.15.0000 and a USB on the bottom and when I flash either hspl or uspl I always end up on gray screen with a 0% that doesn't move at all, how can I manually apply SSPL? I cant access Manila interface because of time bomb message? My life's getting complicated!
If possible try flashing from an XP box, Vista/7 might give you some additional trouble if you don't use the right drivers. But if you get to the 0% screen, the issue shouldn't be with the SPL... so don't worry, I doubt the phone is bricked
So: try XP and/or using the drivers provided in the Flashing-thread

Did you downloaded the ROM from the HTC site? If the ROM is from the official site try again using USPL.
I seach the wiki page and found the latest version which is "Blackstone_WWE_1.56.405.1" and I can't find it on the official site, it should be "WWE" not specifying on certain countries, so I manage to download it from Rapidshare link. and for the SSPL I don't think I can do that coz I can't access my phone coz it has tim bomb probably the main culprit here.
Any flashing problems should be posted in Dummies Guide thread.
