I flashed my Tilt for the first time lastnight to "Dutty's Official WM6.1 5.2.19199 UC RTM" and for some reason now my external speaker doesn't work at all... That means no clicks or chimes when I am operating my Tilt.... but worst of all that means no ringtones -_- I can't tell when people call me!
Am I missing some newbie setting?

Ugh... I was flashing a new radio file to try to fix my speaker issue, and it locked up at 95%... apon reboot I have the tri colored screen... and I had to use the Whitescreen fix to get it to flash to 95%.... Now that I am stuck at the tri color screen I can't seem to get it to work again (since I can't get in to run the white screen fix program on my Tilt).
Any suggestions?

do you have hard spl already installed ?
or is the original bootloader on the phone ?
you have first to install the bootrom to flas another radio or another rom than the original htc .
if your bootrom is already working there would be no problem and you can flash again .
press and hold camera and on button and force a reset with the stylus , press both buttons until the three coloured screen comes up , then you can gave the flas another try .

You really must read more. There are warnings posted in the ROM thread about using the correct radio.
There have been several threads posted about why sound has suddenly stopped working.
This thread is now redundant. In fact a quick search would have avoided the need to create it and you would have had your answer sooner

Ok i have done all the following steps from jocky forum guide and now i unlocked the CID whichever you call it. now i went thru all to test it out its still the same but i do see the word... inex which mean its already flashed anyways i press the camera buttons and the camera showns plain black screen and can i asked why? or its not done developing yet till i put in the cooking rom? i dont know how this work but to tell you that the camera is showing just plain black screen of course the album and others are there but when trying to take a picture its just plain black i even moved around toward the light and still black.... so any idea of helping me out here? and also is there a way to reset the tilt back to normal instead of doing the clear storage setting... please help and i would greatly appericated it.
Hard to understand what you're trying to say, but... If you flashed a custom ROM, you might not have the correct radio version for it. Each ROM will require certain radio versions to work properly, and the radio isn't always included with it so you need to read, find what radio version is needed, and flash it yourself.
Sounds like you have the wrong Radio.
Radio's need to be matched to the ROM you are running. Some of the unlockers flash special patch radio's. You need to re-flash a normal one.

After flashing miris wm 6.5 rom onto my blackstone the screen has gone multicoloured, mainly blue until i press the top button which turns off the screen. It also freezes really often which then become unresponsive other than when you touch the volume or standby buttons . It also wont connect to my sim card either.
I have tried installing different roms but i get the same thing for all of them.
Can anyone help me.

Good Morning all,
Hope everyone is well. I realise that I am probably repeating a post somewhere and apologise profusely for that.
However my request is quite urgent. I have my phone flashed with Dutty's 4.1 using the step by step guide to update radio and ROM etc etc.
My touchscreen has now started playing silly buggars and as such tomorrow it gets picked up by UPS UK to disappear off to be looked at. Obviously I do not think they will take it to well if it still has duttys on there
So just so I make sure I get eveything right.... can someone just drop me a link to the correct files for a stock flash back to the way things should be.

To add an update, the boot loader screen shows:

SPL-1.56.OliNex
Micro-Blackstone (LED) v6

I Think u need the original rom... or a htc one from the website?? ... can it not be downloaded from the htc website?? i may be wrong
I do but also need to make sure I do an original spl and radio as well
first off go to htc.com and download the romupgrade thats on that side (ive non is on the side check the wiki for youre countryrom)
then flash that one and se ive radio comes with it
ive not flash radio 13.**.**.**
then from the hard spl thread there a tut how t make youre spl stock again and youre finished

Ok, thanks for all your assistance. Just qiuck one, Once I have done all this how can I check it has all worked. Obviously the boot loader shows the SPL, and the ROM is whatever installed. Where will it display the current radio so I can check that too?

At boot it shows, just restart your device and look at the red text in the bottom right corner, there it will show your current radio version.
Could also see it in device info when the device is on but dunno if you still can considering you need to return it.

Thanks to all help, radio is now reading stock as is the 1.56 spl all installed from latest ROM from HTC so also stock.
UPS collect tomorrow and with any luck they will return a working touchscreen and I can continue where I left off
anyone noticed lots of these requests....? where they flash then the touch screen stops working?

I noticed these threads after the 1.17 radio but some users haven't upgraded to that radio and it happend to them.
i'm looking to stay on my rom until something more is found out about this.....

I also have read a couple of these help requests and the same problem, but what could it be, is it the windows mobile 6.5 builds that are doing this (not blaming the chef's in anyway), or some conflict with the spl... have to investigate this more...

I have also noticed the very same, after changing the rom people are having screen problems! Why is that?

i've had the problem with a cooked french rom (Pyrana V17C). My screen started to freeze for a few seconds. During that time, when I put the finger on the screen and slide, the screen follows the move but it comes back to where it first was, ant the move is finally not taken in consideration ... it looks like the screen is an elastic...
So it did it sometimes and it lasted a few seconds first, and then, a couple af days later, it was more often, and I had to soft reset everytime, and yesterday, I finally had to hard reset to take back the hand, and the bug came back more quickly. So I installed the latest release of this rom this morning and everything seems to be stable since a couple of hour. If it comes back I'll try another rom, but if someone can find a way to set this, that would be perfect ...

I've tried some roms that i download from here and i had a lot of problem with all of them.
problem in graphics problem with the phone the get stuck a lot even the phone doesnt work.....
WIFI and BL working but phone is not.
Anyone know how can i put this operation system without probs?

Installing new ROMS, make sure you hard reset right after the phone reboots from a fresh ROM Load. People have noted here that problems almost always surface without the Hard Reset on a fresh ROM.

Hi ladies and gentlemen!
I have tried and tried and tried to flash mi tilt, and no luck. I've followed the intructions(let me guess well if you followed the instructions then you shouldn't be having a problem? save it.) It's not working! :[[[[[[[[ It keeps giving me the error 262 update error. I did what the solution said to do which was to soft reset and enter bootloader, and i did that but still no luck. I 'flashed' wm6.1 i think well installed it from htc's website and it worked and stuff, but i hate it! It is so laggy when i text and it keeps going into sleep mode after 10 seconds or the backlight goes dim after 10 seconds i've tried fixing it with what htc says to do but it still does it after 10 seconds. AND kaisertweak wont work it says the file is corrupt; i've tried re-installing it so many times i threw my phone!!!! ;[ It still works but it has a dent on the side. It doesn't bug me Anyway, someone has to have a solution for all this! PLEASE!!! AND THANK YOU in advance. I also followed the instructions on 'flashing for newbs' and still no luck. If you need info on my phone here it is: WM6.1, (when entering bootloader with the power+camera+SR) 3.56, THE PHONE IS UNLOCKED(as in i can use t-mobile, verizon, etc.), and that's all i can remember lol. Oh yeah one more thing, i can't seem to get rid of the 'bloatware' :'[ I've tried many so-called 'solutions. :'[ no luck. HELP!

So stop starting new threads here. Your last one was locked, and so will this one. This is not the I'm a noob , help me section. If you are having a problem post it in the flashing for noobs thread. There is no problem that you are having hat hasn't already been addressed in that thread.
Have you flashed hardspl yet ? Which one 3.34, 3.56. 3.29. 3.29 cmonex ? Have you tried flashing from an SD card ? 262 is a usb error. Have you tried reloading activsync ? Have you Disabled anti virus and firewalls. Saying I've tried everything tells people nothing.

You figured wrong, twice apparently, so Mr. Denco was showing you your failures in figuring. You got the "attitude" for posting in the wrong section TWICE.. When a mod closes or moves the thread, they explain why..
