After flashing miris wm 6.5 rom onto my blackstone the screen has gone multicoloured, mainly blue until i press the top button which turns off the screen. It also freezes really often which then become unresponsive other than when you touch the volume or standby buttons . It also wont connect to my sim card either.
I have tried installing different roms but i get the same thing for all of them.
Can anyone help me.

Very common problem, gets asked every few days.

I flashed my Tilt for the first time lastnight to "Dutty's Official WM6.1 5.2.19199 UC RTM" and for some reason now my external speaker doesn't work at all... That means no clicks or chimes when I am operating my Tilt.... but worst of all that means no ringtones -_- I can't tell when people call me!
Am I missing some newbie setting?

Ugh... I was flashing a new radio file to try to fix my speaker issue, and it locked up at 95%... apon reboot I have the tri colored screen... and I had to use the Whitescreen fix to get it to flash to 95%.... Now that I am stuck at the tri color screen I can't seem to get it to work again (since I can't get in to run the white screen fix program on my Tilt).
Any suggestions?

do you have hard spl already installed ?
or is the original bootloader on the phone ?
you have first to install the bootrom to flas another radio or another rom than the original htc .
if your bootrom is already working there would be no problem and you can flash again .
press and hold camera and on button and force a reset with the stylus , press both buttons until the three coloured screen comes up , then you can gave the flas another try .

You really must read more. There are warnings posted in the ROM thread about using the correct radio.
There have been several threads posted about why sound has suddenly stopped working.
This thread is now redundant. In fact a quick search would have avoided the need to create it and you would have had your answer sooner

HI , friends i been trying to sim unlock my new tytn2 which is in uk orange network now.
I tried to install hard spl, i m new to this technical worlds like cooked rom, new hard spl etc ,.any one please tell me how to do this step by step,
When i tried to install hard spl, there comes a tricolor screen first white screen with progress bar 0% , and after some time it stucks and in pc shows error message. tried with jump spl method described by some one, in the kaiser section, what is the meaning of wm6 and wm6.1

WM6 and WM6.1 are Versions of Windows Mobile, see Settings, About on your phone.
Looking at the Radio version, you are a WM6.0 user still.

Try SSPL First, then JumpSPL 1.56, then JumpSPL 1.93. one should work.

Hy Guys,
I just hard spld my HTC Touch HD and all the colors of the screen look
oil smudged every time i boot up the device.
The htc logo , the wm6.1 screen have this problem
and after i refresh the screen (sleep button) it comes back to normal.
and everytime i reset the phone its the same thing until I refresh the screen
can anyone help me out ??

I suggest you read the Dummies Guide to see if you flashed correctly.
Then you can follow the steps to get your Blackstone normal again

1) download Hard-SPL package from attachment, use 1.56 HSPL (HSPLWrapper_Blackstone_156OliNex.zip ) if you want to use new 1.5x ROMs. then extract to an empty folder.
NOTE: 1.14 HSPL (the original Unsigned_HardSPL_for_Blackstone_OliNex.zip) is good for only older ROMs, 1.56 HSPL (HSPLWrapper_Blackstone_156OliNex.zip) is good for newer ROMs. 1.56 is not backwards compatible with old ROMs. the incompatible ROM will still boot but screen is going to look funny which is a temporary issue but uncomfortable.

You flashed a 1.56+ ROM without having the 1.54 SPL! As suggested, use the Dummies Guide to flash HSPL. Or if you want to use USPL flash an official 1.56+ ROM first! (Then reflash this one.)

hey.....
i just flashed my Blackstone....and but a cooked ROM....
the problem is every ROM i but...i tried alot of 6.1 and 6.5 ROMS...
and it's doesn't work correctly...
when i start my phone the smart mobility text changes color to blue and the colors are mixed....
i have to turn the back light off then on to get normal colors...
and that's not the only problem....
it takes forever to start....and it's very laggy.....and sometimes i have to remove the battery to shut it down cuz it froze
what should i do...what did i do wrong....?
No biggie, you just need to get your rom version updated...follow Digital Outcast's guide and you should be fine...http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=505377
You have the incorrect SPL version. As Sean3 pointed out, read Digital Outcasts thread and decide whether you want to go the USPL or HSPL routes.
Once you follow guide indicated above your problems should be fixed. If not, post further queries in that thread

I used Unsigned_HardSPL_for_Blackstone_OliNex 1.56 then i used
RUU_BlackStone_HTC_TUR_1.56.468.0_Radio_52.62.25.34_1.13.25.24_Ship
to change it to turkish.
It seem to all go well but,
Now when i start the phone the colors are all wrong as if it is running @ a very low resolution.
I have attaced a few pictures to show the situation.
Also if you look @ the last picture you can see that when i power off then power back on the resolution is correct but the screen seems
very unresponsive.
I have tried to Restore_Stock_SPL_113 but not actually sure if it was the same one.
I have also tried USPL GUI v 2.5 (no difference)
I have tried HD_WM65__V63__B23053COM3__D091809
And i have finally tried Miri_WM65_23017_Premium_Manila_2.5_REV7.1
I dont no what else to do i have searched and read various posts regarding what i actually wanted to do and how to retify this problem but i cant find a solution.
If anyone has any answers i would really appriciate it.

just install the newest stock rom from the htc website and then the rom of your choice.
then the colors will look normal again
It looks like your spl is wrong for the rom, the colour problem is typical of this situation.
You mention that you tried hspl - 1.56.Olinex. Are you sure it installed successfully? If you go into bootloader mode, does it show 1.56.Olinex on screen? Any one of the roms you mention should work perfectly with 1.56. Please take any other queries to the Dummies Guide thread as the mods will close this one down.
As above, it looks like your SPL is incorrect and HSPL 1.56 has not been successful. Check your SPL in bootloader and post further queries in the dummies guide thread.
