Synchronization with Outlook express

Dear friends I will be thankful if some one can help me regarding free-wares 3rd party software for synchronization of I-mate PDA2k to MS outlook Express. Thanks a lot.
to my knowledge, OE does NOT sync with Pocket PC's. You're out of luck. However, you should be able to install Outlook via the CD that came with your PDA2k and import all of your mail, contacts and e-mail account information into Outlook so that you have everything there that you have in Outlook Express.
I know Outlook is different than Outlook Express, and takes a lot more of a PC to push it, but you may not have a choice...
If someone else knows of something that can sync with OE, I'd love to know what it is...
Looking for the same tool, I found this :

PIM management (Agenda One?) + sync with Google Calendar / Gmail

Dear all,
I have my new TyTN II since a few hours, and I'm already looking for a better PIM software than the default WM2006 apps. I need to manage my schedule (w/ several sub calendars such as work, personal, etc..), my tasks, and my contacts. I absolutely need to sync my schedule with Google Calendar. Syncing my contacts with my GMail address book would also be nice.
So, here comes my two questions:
1. I found Agenda One, which has a very positive feedback on most forums. Is there another comparable PIM suite that I should take into account ? If any, what are the main differences and your own preference/experience ?
2. I heard about OggSync, syncmycal, pocketgcal, gcalendarsync and Goosync and GMobileSync to sync with google calendar. I don't know if there are others, and I don't know which one is the best. Do you have some advices ?
Thanks in advance for your replies
Aurélien.
PS: Paying for licence is not a problem as long as the software is working well

No Outlook - What to Do?

I am thinking about buying a Tytn II (Kaiser). I run Windows XP Pro but I do not run MS Office or Outlook (which are not even installed on my PC) or Internet Explorer (which is). Instead I use OpenOffice (open source freeware), Thunderbird (ditto) and Firefox (ditto). I refuse to pay for MS Office or Outlook. How may I sync my Kaiser to my PC - address book, documents, bookmarks etc. ?
Seems a shame that such a wonderful sounding machine is tied to Outlook and MS Office

Hmmm...Windows Mobile=Microsoft
MS Office/Outlook=Microsoft
ERGO...you're stuck!
As mentioned already Microsoft's synching solutions Activesync or WMDC are for Microsoft apps only (although it baffles me that it won't even synch to native Windows apps such as address book or Outlook Express). There is some releief in that not having a recent version of Outlook installed doesn't grey out Favourites, Files or Media so you should still be able to sync these fine. There are third party products around that offer a greater amount of synching compatibility. Perhaps others who are using the apps you mentioned have experience or can name names. Additionally, perhaps those application suppliers can advise on solutions, if they're aware of any....
I was in a similar situation but I use Thunderbird only for storing my emails.
I saw in another post a link to:
www.goosync.com
I found the Google-calendar quite useful (can be opened in Thunderbird). With Goosync you can free-of-charge sync your Google-calendar (with restrictions). For some money you can also sync tasks and the address-book.
Have a look. Maybe it's something for you. Maybe not.
bye,

I sync my contacts directly to my hotmail account without the use of outlook but then again hotmail - microsoft.

Sync calendar to Google Calendar

Is there a good app anyone can recommend for syncing the diamond with google calendar?
I am new here and thanks to all for the hard work on the diamond. Cant wait to get mine later this week!
Oggsync.

For manual sync it's free, and works perfect.
Try ActiveGsync (http://www.freewarepocketpc.net/ppc-download-activegcsync-v1-0.html)
Haven't tried it personally but I hear positive stuff about this app. It has auto-sync as well and is freeware
goosync.com has a free manual two way sync program that I use

I tested many google calendar sync programs. You may have a look at my blog entry here:
http://diamondstouch.blogspot.com/2008/07/google-calendar.html
However I finally gave up and paid for the professional goosync account. The non-commercial programs either don't work, sync only one calendar or work one-way. Since I installed goosync everything works without any hickups: multiple calendars, two-way sync, automatically scheduled. If this is really worth 20 English Pounds (for one year) is another question ...

Activegcsync for Google Calendar (multiple calendars)
Try Activegcsync by Gil Milow. Unlike other software I have tried (eg. GMobileSync), it works very well for multiple calendars (and contacts). It is available free.

easy as easyness
ty for the other replys
I use Outlook and I also move from WinMo6.5 to Android. I used to sync my HTC to Outlook too.
But usually I also sync my Outlook to a online service (Hotmail, Google). Which service do you use Outlook with? Because Android can sync directly to most of the services and you won't need Outlook "in the middle".
Cheers.
Export contacts from outlook to Google via .csv. works like a charm.
Sent from my HTC Supersonic. Made by HTC tuned by cyanogen.

Downloaded it and tried it and did not like it at all so I removed it after just one go.
Perhaps I did something wrong but it made me run the program to get access to my contacts.
Did the google way instead and that worked well although now google knows even more about me.
Patrick
I use Android-sync.
Small free program which syncs with Outlook!
