Hi fellow 2020i owners!
I'm looking for the maximum SD card size supported by the 2020i.
Could someone point me to the right location for finding the answer?
Thank you VERY much in advance for your help!
Kindest regards,
Piet
4GB, the ones above that use a different architecture, I've heard some success stories but its iffy . A simple forum search will show that.
remember to only format it as a fat or fat16. NOT FAT32 OR NTFS!!!
hi guys
im a mega newbie so please bear with me
I have an old o2 xda II which came with tomtom nav 5 on an SD card and also the gps receiver etc - brand new so still allowed to transfer to new phone which i understand all i need to do is email tomtom and they will sort
can someone guide me through what i need to do (and if it is possible) to transfer it onto my xda stella please
obviously first step is to buy a micro sd card but if anybody has done this before then please get in touch
I put my phone in airplane mode then pulled the battery and got access by doing and shell loop and entering recovery on the phone. I had tried all of the other methods and usb drivers and saw someone say something about the radio and turning on WiFi and bluetooth so I thought I would turn it all off. Let me know if this works for anyone else.
no workie for me
Do we really need more new threads with this kind of information?
So far it seems like it's mostly based on the SD card. There are 2 cards I believe we know of that work almost 100% of the time. The Kingston 4GB Class 4 card and the ADATA 16GB class 6 card.
I personally have the Kingston 4GB Class 4 card and it really doesn't matter what method I use, they all work. Even just doing a normal "adb reboot recovery" works perfectly fine for me.
Most likely the reason that these different methods are working for other people is luck... I know some will disagree but I still believe that they've just managed to get lucky and their SD card did what it had to do to get ADB running.

Whats your deal? If you don't have anything to contribute why say anything?

What, you didn't like my joke? Too soon? I have a lot to contribute, but I think turning off the radio to root is just as silly as navigating in your car before trying to root. This forum is filled with circumstantial evidence, and I truly believe it needs to be consolidated--don't take it personally, I just don't believe this needed to be in a new thread.

Don't know if you can't read or are just stupid but it is proven that the radio has to to with how well your phone ID's itself to the computer. But the Unrevoked team wouldn't know anything about that because they are just as stupid as I am......right? You really shouldn't drink while posting because you sound stupid.

There needs to be a formal age verification system on these forums.

I think he's charged others with drinking because they disagreed with him before.
Nothing worked for me. Tried all methods with lots of cards.
Stock SanDisk 2gb C4
Lexar 8gb C4
Lexar 8gb C6
DaneElec 4gb C4 (same as PNY 4/4 and Kingston 4/4)
As I was about to put my Inc for sale on Ebay. NiX threw out a suggestion on IRC. I tried it w/ the DaneElec and it worked.
It worked first try and every try since. Tried it with the stock sandisk 2/2 and no go. Haven't tried the Lexars.
Give it a shot. Good luck.
loop shell / Vol- + Power. / Hboot / wait for 4secs / insert card / highlight recovery / hit power + count to 3 or 5 and insert usb / wait till 10secs after /!\
Ugh. Another thread filled with sarcasm and flaming. The people who spend time hating on others threads take up more space than the creators. I actually appreciate people taking the time to post what has worked for them. Even if many of the threads turn out to be based upon luck, brainstorming and trial/error certainly enhance the ability to prove/disprove theories. Even the unrevoked team openly admits that they don't fully understand the process and recommend altering one's setup if someone is having no luck achieving root. And since I've sunk $120 into new cards of various sizes/qualities/makes (including the Kingston), downloaded multiple drivers, and tried multiple methods, and still had no luck, I will try any new idea.
Good afternoon,
Was wondering if this memory card will work on my HTC HD7.

And already now here is the full list of cards if any of the cards for my htc.

To answer your question yes that SanDisk 32gb card should work just fine for you. Pretty much any newly manufactured SDHC Micro SD card of a good quality brand like SanDisk or PNY will work just fine in your device.
A lot of questions about Getting the N4 in 16GB or in 8GB are being asked and many are hating on Google for not providing an expandable memory slot.
I was just browsing and i read this somewhere : http://www.indiegogo.com/microsdtomicrousb
Would something like this work? If it does then it would be awesome.
So guys please when you get your Nexus 4 Device then please try this or a setup like http://www.amazon.com/USB-Female-Mini-Male-Adapter/sim/B0016RNX2I/2 into a Tiny flash drive or a pendrive if necessary
Hope that link helps us N4 lovers :cyclops:
