I followed these instructions here for the Treo: http://discussion.treocentral.com/sh...31&postcount=1 to get youtube and flash vids to work on my Tilt. I got the youtube working, but when I try to play flash vids, it tells me I have no flash player installed. Does this software just not support flash for the Tilt yet or did I miss something. I installed the Flash cab on the device with the TCPMP program. The instructions said something about a "soft reset" after installation. How do I do that? I just powered it down and back up.

You will need a recompiled version of tcpmp

Thanks!! got it to work again.
Hi all,
I've got a problem, I have installed a demo version of a language learn app which is on a flash basis, at least it says on the homepage that the Flash player 6 or 7 is required.
Now my problem is that when I open the app (an .exe file) it appears to be too big for the diamond screen, there is now way one can zoom out or do any fit to screen settings, I have tried every setting the flash player offers.
I have read the flash wiki and spent about 2 hours googling and searching the forum, usually this solved all my problems but I just dont seem to find any solution for this specific problem.
I have no idea if this is flash / Diamond or software related. Would one of you please have a look at the app and check if he/she has the same problem?
The homepage is: http://pda.hantrainerpro.com/normal_index.htm and I have downloaded the file for wm5 devices.
I have tried FP6, then FP7 after uninstalling FP6 before installing, installing FP7 before uninstalling FP6 (as described on the page above) and FP7 plus smartFlash but nothing helped.
I use a stock German ROM 1.37 and have not "installed" and Hard SPL version.
Thanks for your comments!
bump
sorry to bump this, but this evolved to a major problem and I cant find a solution...
BTW, can anyone open .swf files?
when trying with opera mobile it always asks if I want to download that .swf file but I belive it should rather start running, right?
Thanks in advance for any comment!
Hi Guys..
First of, im sorry if this has been answered elsewhere, i searched both forum, and google but couldnt get a clear answer.
I've been trying out different roms over the past few weeks.. a couple of days ago i tried flashing Cyano's 5.0.7.1 update.. but i think i might have gotten the wrong version.. at one point it started flashing radio, wich, i really don't have much experience with and therefore try to stear clear off.. after the radio update my n1 launched with an image of an android, and an arrow out of a box.. and it wouldnt do anything else.. efter 15 minutes with me sweating like a pig.. i booted.. i did nothing.. but was happy that i hadn't bricked my phone.. did a nand restore and decided to give the flashing a rest..
Yesterday however i wanted to view some mp4 video but no. apparently no player out there works for me.. sometimes it says cannot play this video (no matter which player i use) other times it starts playing but the screen is black, and only audio works.. i tried playing files that have previous been working for me with no luck.
So while googling i found this: forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=687704
Wich explains that "the new" radio does stuff to mp4 playback... but i am unsure which radio version is "the new" if i am on the new radio, i guess that would be a fix for me right?
Details:
Current radio version: 4.06.00.12_7
Current rom: CyanogenMod-5.0.7_N1 -test2
Build number: EPE54B
Players ive tried: Meridian (all three versions)
mvideoplayer
Build in player
some other players i cant remember now.
if you have installed froyo at all in the past then your radio was updated to the newest one, which breaks video when you go back to old 2.1 ROMs. so roll back your radio to the previous version.
I havent.
Wich radio v. does froyo upgrade to?
Yes the radio version 4.06 you have is a Froyo version, you have to downgrade to 4.03/4.04. Then you're video will work OK again.
My tilt 2 can't open video and can't play streaming radio. now it act like the flash lite is not working . it was working good before . how can check if the flash is ok?
I hard reset and nothing , I reinstall the soft upgrade and nothing , what wrong ?
Hi all, I have followed the steps on this post, but still no luck getting flash media to play on my Sprint HTC One. Are there any other tricks?
