Hi guys,
I just installed gsen to my diamond. But there are some programs which i want to be excluded from the auto rotation.
I understand that in order to exclude the programs i have to use '#window(***)'
But there are some programs which i do not know what they are called.
So here's the few things i wish to exclude,
Phone, Message, Contacts.
Hope someone could point me in the right direction.
Thanks
Hm seems to found a way to exclude them from the auto rotation. thats by keepin them at background and exclude them by choosing the 'window names'
There is a thread dedicated to GSen. Please ask your questions there, instead of opening a redundant new one.

Hey all,
This is an issue that most TyTn2/Kaiser users probably face when starting up the device at first.
I have double contacts appearing on the Contact list - 1 "Outlook Contact" & 1 "SIM Contact".
I would like to use only the "Outlook contacts" - but I have no idea of how to make things tidy at this point - having about 100 double entries.
I guess i'd want the contacts on my SIM card too - to be on the safe side, but I don't want the SIM entries to appear on my contact list and make a mess with the Outlook contacts.
Another thing about contacts - is having them arranged by the Lastname. I'm used to seaching by Firstname, and changing them one by one is really frustrating!
Any suggestions?
Thank you all!
Noam.

Click to collapse
Read my forum notes on it, and what ROM are you using? Next version, I'll package some notes, and have it auto-start.
KaiserSimFix is for ROMs that keep resetting the registry value, and will adjust the registry to hide after every soft-reset because:
IT'S a PROGRAM. I bet you guys aren't used to seeing programs that are < 5K.
So it works better than Advanced Config or KaiserTweak for these roms. For other less anal ROMs such as Dutty's, either of the former are super-fat but work too.
Hi all,
I just wanted to know if there is an application (preferably freeware but not essential), that will block SMS's from certain numbers.
I honestly do not have the time to search the forums for this, so if someone is prepared to help, I thank you immensely in advance.
Regards,
MAC
You can try these programs:
http://www.mobiion.com/magicall.html
http://www.logic-unlimited.com/callfirewall.php
Soooo what your saying is that you have time to type out this topic and start a new thread, but you don't have time to hit
search at the top right
type in "block sms messages"
and then click, what would have been the first link?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/archive/index.php/t-360379.html
sounds less time consuming then making a thread
use the above links to use programs to configure whitelists and blacklists. i never could get those programs to work on stock or custom rom so good luck!
Thank you all so much for your input I have gone with Call Firewall for now.
Is it possible to change the assosiated Programs of the Softbuttons in TouchFlo2D?
I´d like to use iContacts in the People Widget instead of the default Outlook-Contacts. It´s ugly to use with my thik fingers.
You should probably ask this in the TouchFlo2D thread, instead of the device specific threads. They will know more than us.
You´re right! My mistake.
Would someone be so kind to move this thread into the right subforum?
Thanks!
Hi All,
I hope someone is able to help or point me in the direction of a hack or some software to help.
Basically i use windows mobile task manager alot and any task i create i make a reminder, what i want to know is if anyone knows if their is a way i can sort the display of the tasks so that they are ordered by the reminder time.
I have played around with Due Date but if there is multiple tasks on one date they are sorted alphabetically.
I hope some can help i think i have OCD as this little thing bothers me
Hi,
my answer will be a bit off-topic as I do not answer your question, but have you ever tried the freeware SponnDo (same creator as SponnAlarm). This soft covers the normal WinMo tasks manager interface and makes it finger friendlier and so on.
I do not recall if such an option as you're looking for was available but worth the try.
thanks for the reply, i will check it out
Hi to all
I realise this is not a specific ROM type question, but if anyone was to know it would be you guys....
(I posted this in General with no responses)
Essentially, i am looking for a tweak that will make the 'Notes' program scrollable (kinetic..) with your finger. I have fiddled with a few Beta programs but all seem to conflict or have other issues, so no joy.
I am thinking there must be a reg tweak or something that will enable it or add it to a list or something (like the g-sensor whitelist) to make it finger scrollable - it seems odd on a stock 6.5 (SEA) ROM that this feature is not already available on this most basic program...
Any advice really appreciated (It's driving me nuts - and i don't have far to [email protected]!).
Cheers
Jabberoo
I would also like to know how to do this, but for RSS Hub's article view. I searched the registry and don't see anything. It seems stuck in "make selection" mode.
Actually, I know FTouchSL (www.ftouchsl.com) works but my problem is that it messes with all sorts of other apps on my phone (including HTC's stuff). I'd like to use it for just a few apps but it works by an exclusion principle ("blacklist": ignoring apps you don't want it to apply to) rather than inclusion ("whitelist": applying only to specific apps). Of course, I'm interested in the latter. The problem is, you have to go through the tedious process of excluding EVERY SINGLE APP you don't want it to work with!
I've emailed support at ftouchsl regarding a whitelist so we'll see if something turns up.
But if someone comes up w/ something to be able to finger scroll in Notes, I'd be VERY interested!
BTW, I have a GSM Raphael.
Wrong section, and a double post.
Closed.
