Q-Tek 9090 Italian vs english rom

I have italian ROM in my PDA2k (Qtek-9090). I'd like to install english version because i do not understand anything!. but I couldn't 'couse install-progtram says its impossible to interchange italian rom to english one. What must I do?

change language on mteor from english to dutch?

how to change the english language on the mteor to dutch? i have a htc mteor, and i assume this one is cidlock free. i tried to download an dutch htc mteor rom from the website, but none of the links work on the htc website. so i cannot find a dutch rom. i only want to change the language (os) from english to dutch...
any help is appreciated.

what i meant (or should have written down), is that the os on my mteor is english. thus having a WWE rom on it. what i want, is the Dutch rom on it. so i need to flash it with the dutch rom. for that i need a dutch originally shipped mteor rom. at least, i believe that i can reflash it on my mteor without getting the wrong vendor id / country error (thus hoping that the mteor is cidlock free!!)

you are right!!! i assumed i had to reflash the os to get the dutch language like one has to do with the qtek 9100 etc. but you are right, in the preferences you can change the language...
thanx for your reply, as you might have guessed... this is my first smartphone in a line of many other smartphones like the mda compact 1 to 3, htc wizard, tytn.....
so i wasn't quite familiar with the option to change the language inside the european rom itself

i want my t-mobile wing in spanish what i can do cause it is in english and i want it in spanish

there are no custom roms in spanish but if one of the RUUs is in spanish you can diassemble it and flash it minus the spl.nb part using USPL

Question to translate a rom

It's preffered not to translate, you can run in to all kinds of problems but it is possible. If I where you I look up a french rom and one (same build als your french) WWE on the Rhodium Rom develoment board en extract both and putt them back to gether. There is only lots of reading for you to do before you can make this work but it is not that hard.

..I would like to have an WWE rom..BUT with DUTCH word-autocompletion for the soft keyboard. Is that possible? I have an WWE Energy custom rom and can choose French, German, Italian etc..but not Dutch. Can I add it myself?

Depends on what you use butt I got this working cab that worked with the default keyboard and autocompletion

Hi, thanks for the cab but it doesn't work. I use the default Touch Input for pocket PC from HTC. I have flashed NRGz28's ENERGY ROM win 6.5 / manilla 2.1.

No that doen't work than it is for the default windows keyboard. Have you tried search the board? Mostly it is just adding a file

If your ROM does not support multiple languages, you would have to flash to a different ROM.
For English you want a WWE (World Wide English) ROM.
I assume you are on a stock ROM and have not flashed HSPL.
If this is true, go here and learn how to flash your phone, then browse XDA for a WWE ROM of your choice.
