I'm looking for larger dialpad buttons? I've seen a lot of crap all over the place which is more of a piece together and there is always SOMEONE posting with bad news... such as "can't uninstall it" or "smart dial doesn't work" etc...
Is there a fully functioning (even if I have to pay money) keypad (dial screen buttons) with big buttons on it?
Thanks in advance!
try netcom smart dialer 2.5 - not free
There is another called reTOUCHed_Dialer2. This has much bigger buttons and easier than the built-in layout.
I am hoping somebody will have one with a different skin, though. The straight black keys are not my thing.

The reTOUCHed Dialer can be "skinned" (and I've seen a few). If you look at Dutty's planned no. 7 rom that dialer will be in it, and it will have blue/green buttons. I think Schaps' has it with purple.
Basically the dialer mainly consists of graphics for the backgrounds and buttons. You just need to edit all of them in an grapics program and you can modify it to how you want it.
Here's the cab for the standard Touch looking one.
Anyone here know where to get a custom dial skin/pad for my tilt? Preferably something with bigger buttons maybe? thanks you
Try this one
Buttons are a little bigger.....After install of cab...soft reset.....tap green phone button to see your new skin
the 8525 keys were backlit in BLUE. Made the keys real easy to read.
The TILT/8925 uses a white keyboard back light. This makes reading the "number" keys very difficult.
I suspect the color can not be changed due to the LED used but I would sure like to hear someone say different.
I prefer white. Blame AT&T though because they choose a different colour scheme for the Tilt's keypad. The TyTN II is all black. I suppose you could find a way to swap the keypad if you wanted to.
Hi, I am bored of the key lock screen and was wondering if there is a way to skin it or a alternative bit of software to use. http://forum.xda-developers.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif
This is probably the kind of thing you're looking for.

yeh, it looks pretty good, i kind of want the pin lock though. Even if there was a way to have a black background instead of the white. funny, no matter how cool the phone and how much stuff it can do theres always somthing you want different
I agree, that pin code lock thing is terrible-looking...like the default calculator. The windows mobile interface gets a complete overhaul, and these 2 things get left behind in 2003!
Hi everyone, i'm a physical keyboard diehard fan. I'm using the keyboard case and it's great. However, I'm having issues with the space bar, which sometimes does not get pressed. In fact, it does not work at all with the tempered glass cover (the space bar, the other keys work).
Peeking under the keyboard i realized the on screen keyboard layout below the physical add on has a really tiny space bar.
This seems to be baked into the touchwiz standard theme, the keyboard is not compatible with other themes. Is there any way I can make this on secreen space bar larger so it gets always pressed? Can I add some material right under the space bar so it omproves "touchability"/contact with the screen?
Thanks

I think its becuase of the tempered glass screen protector. Becuase the glass screen protector has no adhesive on the screen area there is an air gap which is why the keyboard case doesn't work properly, it's what happend to me. I took the tempered glass screen protector off and put a normal tpu based screen protector on and the keyboard case work perfectly now, no skips in the keys which I press. Ohh and for the theme issue which you are talking about, that is none existent for me, I have used many themes on my s7 edge and the keyboard case works perfectly with them. The themes do not change the layout of the onscreen keyboard they just make it look different that's all.
Also if your keyboard isn't at its biggest size you can hold the button on your keyboard the one on the right of the symbol button, after holding it for a second or two it should bring up a popup this is where you click the settings button once you have clicked that you should be in the onscreen keyboard setting, scroll down until you find the keyboard size option and from there you can make the keyboard bigger or smaller according to your preference.

Great! thank you so much. let's make this the (weirdos!) keyboard users thread...
1-themes: you cannot DOWNLOAD the themes with the keyboard attached, but you can download them and use them if you doanload them with the cover removed... however, once I apply the theme (material design flat for instance) and attach the keyboard, i get the message:
KEYBOARD COVER ATTACHED. UNABLE TO APPLY DOWNLOADED THEMES WHILE THE KEYBOARD COVER IS ATTACHED. THE DEFAULT THEME WILL BE APPLIED
so no luck for me.
2-i use a tpu but I had to go through a few, some also made it unable to recognize the lower row (space bar) of the keyboard. I will experiment with the tempered glass plus some paper or something to facilitate its use and will report back.
3-sometimes when the phone comes back from sleep with the keyboard attached in enters a kind of multi window loop which I can only stop by briefly removing the keyboard, has that happened to you?
thanks!
g.
I have not had any of the issue you're experiencing other than the tempered glass one where it would not register the keyboards buttons. But other than that I've just tried the material design theme (normal and dark version) and they work fine I don't get no notifications or information toasts telling me that the theme is uncompatible.
Ohh and by the way this is the screen protector I use: http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01CH5RJT0/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_udp_apa_DiADxbW8E784N

My Keyboard cover just arrived from korea and my screen doesn't automatically adjust. It''s off by a row. If I have the Keyboard cover on when I launch the phone I can't access the swipe code to open feature. It's a great idea but can't figure out how to make it work.

Did you change the DPI/resolution in the display settings? That could be the reason why (although using it with different display settings seemed to work on custom ROMs based on the official one).
