Hi,
Does anyone know why the network service options to show callerid to my contacts only works with some roms and not others? When some of the ROM's the option to show callerid to contacts only works no different that do not show my outgoing caller id.
For example -
It did not work with the stock 6.0 ROM from AT&T
It did work with the Kaiser 6.1 WWE ROM
It did work with the 26 v9 ROM
It is not working with the sleuth 3.0 6.1 ROM
Is it radio dependent? Why do some ROM's work and not others? Anyone? I did a search and did not find anything for outgoing caller id.
thanks!
Ali

Hello,
I know some devices have a 1.20 version of IA Caller ID, that allow different ringtones for contacts or groups.
I already use IA Caller ID 1.17 to attach a photo to contacts, and I'd like to define a ringtone also. I'm not sure an english version should be accepted by my device...
Does anyone have a link for a french 1.20 version ?
Thanks a lot.
with the old rom when i dial a number it shows me possible names while i am dialing but after upgrading to BA_TMNL_14200_119_11300_Ship it doesnt do it any more.
i tried to install caller id but it gives me an error "file.. is in use"

i just flashed a dutty rom last week but i dont remeber which one is was.it had a talking caller id that would say the number over your selected ringtone. if anyone knows what im talking about is there a cab for this so that i could add it to other roms. or can someone make one? thanks in advance
Sounds like a feature from MS VoiceCommand.
Yes...what you seek is Microsoft Voice Command.
I've been Googling a bit to see why the person's name doesn't show up when they call me-- only their number shows up.
I use Rogers Wireless here in Canada.
Some places said the name comes up if you call in to DISABLE the Name Display option of Caller ID, so I tried that but it still doesn't work.
now I came across some thread in 2007 saying that the Rogers Hermes ROM supports it for Windows Mobile........
Can anyone cook up a little app or find out how to get it to work? I doubt it's because I'm using an X1i in North America is it? (X1a ROM installed). For cellular Caller ID it's a universal standard right? I know that for landlines the transmitted Caller ID data is not a universal standard.
try to use Yota Dialer + Contacts

I had the same problem with latest EnergyROM LEO 2.5. It wouldn't send or receive MMS like you describe. It wouldn't even try to send. And when receiving you just get a message stub saying unable to receive message.
I'm on O2 UK carrier.
However, withTouch-IT LEO v4.2... MMS works just fine (for me).

now if we could just get the Win mo client to work in its place for MMS/SMS this would be better

Hello.
I've successfully used Zenkinz's package to disable HTC Messaging and use poutlook as the client for NRG's EnergyROM build 23016 with Manila 2.5. Now SMS and MMS working good. You can get the cab at
