HELP

Hey I have a T-Mobile Vario with SPL 1.03 I tryed to just update the Radio Rom and I think I forgot to unlock CID !............
Now I can't get any connections anymore not even USB.............can anybody help me plz !!!
Also my keyboard doesnt work anymore ! when i restart it doesn'T even show the GSM or Radio Version anymore !!! Is there any hope !?
and it's slower than before............
Now, the next morning it won'T start at all ! only black screen ! sh***

I've the same problem. After flashing no radio work and all things are very slow. The next day it don't want to start up any more :-(
But I doesn't forget to unlock the CID.
What can I do now?

I don't know how but I got it back to start one more time but it crashed down after the Windows bootscreen and now it won't start again :-(

sometimes (after couple time of pressing reset, removing battery, ....) the device turns on and start to boot (or start bootloader when I press the button) but after a few sec. the screen is black again.

Ok, I found a solution in this forum.
The new ROM kills my battery but I got it back to live with the a 6V charger

cingular 8125 problems

i tried flashing my rom and then an active sync disconecting issue screwed me over . now it only boots to the rainbow screen ... how do i get the offical rom and get er going again

How about some details about your device? What is your current IPL / SPL at a minimum? Did you CID Unlock your device before trying to flash? What rom were you trying to flash?
If you want the stock Cingular, its on the HTC website. Or you can flash the TMobile 2.26 rom (if you are CID Unlocked) and it will work fine for you and give you a good stable base to then work with custom roms.

Go to http://www.america.htc.com/support/8125/software-downloads.html to get the official Cingular ROM.
If you have the rainbow screen, you are in bootloader mode, and when you connect via USB to your computer your 8125 should show "USB" in the lower left corner. Doesn't matter that you can't use Active Sync, in fact don't even try - ignore or cancel anything about Active Sync that pops up.
Just run the official Cingular ROM .exe file - it should have this title: RUU_Wizard_225111_22511102_022511_CWS_WWE_Ship.exe. Close all other programs on your computer first, and remove your SD card or dummy card in the SD card slot. Watch the progress bar for 10 minutes or so and you should finally get to 100% and it will reboot - it may pause for what seems like forever at various points on the way to 100%, but it WILL get there, so don't panic.
Once your 8125 reboots, follow the screen alignment and tutorial cut and paste, then it will do the "Customization in 3 seconds" deal where it loads all the Cingular stuff from the extended ROM, then it will reboot again.

by mistake I bricked 8125, no power up any more

It is a G3 device and not unlocked and I used something that probably was never meant to be used in a wizard.

lol no kidding it isnt meant for a wizard.. don't you see it says PRODIGY ..
Try taking your battery out for a little while..then put it back in and try booting into bootloader mode by holding the camera button for a couple seconds then press the power button while still holding the camera button... if you get a screen that has 3 colors flash the device with Wizard_Love or an official cingular ROM

I will try that, how long is little while? I will try leaving it for more that 5 min. In many sites prodigy is presented to be the same with wizard, so I probably [email protected]#$ it up..

I bricked my Hermes before and I left the batter out for about 10 seconds and put it back in and the power LED came on.

update:
took out the battery and then put the charger in.
three coreor creen came up with IPS/SPL versions and a RUU message in top right corner... Now?

is your phone CID unlocked?
go to www.htcamerica.net/support/8125/software-downloads.html and download that ROM and flash that to your device....
you can flash the above rom regardless if ur CID unlocked or not. it's the official ROM

it is not unlocked, I tried to update to the original version but it gives an error message and then it returns back to the 3 color screen.
What does the RUU mean in the top right corner? Now it does not power off. When I press power it shuts down and then comes up again in that screen. this happens only when I have the charger plugged in. Is there a chance that the battery is dead?

ok .. find wizard_love rom in this forum somewhere and try flashing that.. your phone isn't bricked it's saveable... first off, you CAN NOT flash a custom rom to your phone if it is NOT UNLOCKED.
Find Wizard_love rom and flash that.

now it is back to the original cingular 2.25 rom. After 2nd time it managed to install it. And I am back to my previous problematic situation...

i need some serious help im desperate at this stage.
ive basically got a htc tytn ii on uk orange
i update the rom to htc standard one which sim locked it
i followed the instruction on how to get it like i got it from orange
which i believe was sucessful. but because it was still sim locked i
thought the hardspl was relocked so i ran that again which failed and ended up on the tri colour screen after which i tought it may still be hardspl locked
so i tried to flash it with the rom again it got to 17% then crashed
now my phone will only boot to the tricolour screen it wont load activesync and if i try a flash it with anyrom it either stays at 0% gets stuck or gets to 1% then the phone restarts.
ive buggered the phone up proper i need some help if there is any for this mess

when i try a rom upload it says error [294]: invalid vender id
this update utility cannot be used for your pda phoe please check your update utility

Did you install Hard SPL?

See if you can install that and then try to reinstall your rom.

this required activesync to be green mine will respond to usb but not activesynce so i cant go any further with the hardspl unlock im stuck on the tricolour screen. and flashing will only go to 1% then restart and the message come up again.

i have the same problem and i can only get to 1% . i have tried to flash it with several roms using diferent utilities and none seem to work i used hard spl the first time when it failed. HELP PLEASE !!!!!!!

found solution
got mine working here is what i did
run mtty select usb after disabling it in activesync
press enter and you should see cmd>
type boot and when your device restarts it should start in your old rom
run hardspl again
then you need to reinstall your rom
although a word of warning my phone became sim locked after this

worked a treat many thanks it is sim locked just have to wait for the sim unlock for it now

yeah no worries, i was affraid when i locked mine i might have to return it and get anothe orange version but i used some company online and got my code in about 3 days.
oh yeah you will probably need to enter the code in twice, mine said simlocked and then network locked but it was the same code

HELP! Unable to connect after flashing

Hello, Im sure that there is a thread somewhere with the answer to this question but i have searched and searched and cannot find it anywhere. I was trying to flash the new version of EnergyROM on my Tilt 2. I ran Task29 and now im at the bootloader and it shows USB on the phone but my computer is not recognizing my phone. I accidently left my SIM card and MicroSD card in when i did this. Can someone please help me.

i went out and bought a card reader and got my ROM on the card and plugged it into the phone and turned it on and it didnt do anything and now im stuck at a black screen with the red light on. the phone wont turn on wont reset wont do anything i just bought this phone 2 weeks ago and i hope i didnt completely screw it up.

first of all is your phone hard spl'ed ?
running task29 completely wipes the entire os of the phone which is why your phone won't boot all the way
all you have to do is put phone into bootloader mode by holding down volume button while pressing the power button at the bottom of your phone screen it should say serial
now plug phone into computer it now should say usb at the bottom of your phone screen
from here flash whatever rom you are trying to flash & you should be good to go

yes its hard SPLed. activesync doesnt recognize my phone as connected to the PC. I have since been able to somewhat get it off the black screen and back to bootloader and it starts the process of flashing the new rom but then goes back to a black screen.

since you task29'ed activesync is not going to recognize your phone until you flash a rom to it
1.task29
2.flash stock rom
3.task29 again
4.flash new rom

alright now im just stuck with a black screen everytime it starts to flash the new rom it will get about 20-25% and then go back to the black screen. im wondering if my battery isnt charged enough to flash the new rom on there but it doesnt seem to want to charge

well i was making progress until the phone wont stay on long enough to complete the install, it will load the bootloader screen and start to update the new ROM and then before it starts it will go right back to the black screen...any ideas on why?

alright sorry to keep blowing up this post but now i have the ROM flashed but when i turn on the phone, it gets to the ATT boot up screen where the RGB things are and then goes right back to the black screen now what is wrong?

Is the rom you downloaded and attempted to flash CDMA or GSM? If am not mistaken, AT&T is GSM and if you got the rom here chances are you got a GSM one. However, I would double check to see if that's the problem

i got the GSM version it was working until i tried to update from the Dec 27 version to the Jan 6 version of the ROM. im pretty sure ive bricked the phone it just keeps restarting itself itll boot up then get to the BRGD screen and act like it wants to start up but then just shuts back off

is there a GSM and CDMA version of Task29? i dont know what ive done wrong but i really truely hope i havent bricked my phone but im pretty sure i have.
