Windows Mobile 6.1 for HTC Touch Diamond

I have the HTC Touch Diamond with Windows 6.1 Mobile in Dutch (given to me by my employer). I would like to download Windows 6.1 Mobile in English and install it on my HTC.
Is this possible?

You can't download and install the OS as such. But you can flash another ROM with Windows 6.1 Mobile in English. Be it an official HTC ROM or any other ROM 'cooked' for the Diamond by forum members. Read this forum and this topic carefully about flashing Diamond ROM's. Good luck!

looking for 6.1 too
... will 6.1 be faster n more stable on my diamond ...
if so i wud like to know if its available ??
der are LOTs of 6.5 .... cudnt find 6.1

Try Memo 2.5.5.0, nice rom, WM 6.1 with manila sense 2.5

go to Diamond or Diamond rom development to look for roms, fitting your device. also the guys there can help you on how to upgrade the device.

guides to the process just pick up a 6.5 rom from the diamond rom forum and get at it

first you must to ready all the topics about this in ROM developement for diamond...
you will need to change the hardspl if you didnt do yet... and after that change de ROM...
so.. read.. read.. read about it... its a good beginning.

downgrade wm6.5 to 6.1

i m new to windows mobiles. i got and HTC diamond on which wm 6.5 is installed. window's interface and other options are very slow.
i want to downgrade wm6.5 to wm 6.1. can any1 plz guide me how can i do this by my self. i tried to search for how to downgrade wm but cant succeede.

you will need to reflash your diamond, and how to do that you have a s*it load of reading to do, if you never done it before

All you need to do is download your shipped rom and run the exe once you are synced with your pc.
