Add music store - Touch Diamond, MDA Compact IV General

Might be a stupid question, but I could not find a answer.
I still have no clue about this "bought music" tag in the Manila player:
is there a way to define it? A way to set a special store? or anything else.?

voice Command-> Podcasts?

Note: I have never messed with podcasts up to this point, so I will easily look like I don't know anything on this
There is a lot of stuff to find here related to what RSS reader to use, etc, and I can explore that...but...
I have MS Voice command, and hope to be able to call up podcasts with it. What I'm not sure if is if MS Voice Command requires MS Media Player to operate for playing music. I assumed so, so I thought I woudl download podcast mp3 files, and create a playlist called Podcasts.
But, I find for some reason that when I try to import the downloaded MP3 into the library that it will not come in.
So, I"m left wondering, what is best method to do podcasts on the Tilt, and be able to call them up with MS Voice Command?
Any thoughts based on that? (In meantime, I"ll be reading the multitude of threads on RSS Readers, etc.)
Thanks!
I am gathering from the lack of response that it must not be possible to use MS voice command to play any downloaded MP3s (podcasts).
Yes you can. However, you will need to sync it through desktop WMP. Before you sync it you must fix it's properties though. You must give it a title & Artist name, Genre, Album Name, etc... In MSVC you can only launch media by these types of commands, i.e. Play news, play podcast play "artist name". Read the MSVC help file regarding media selections.
Also depending what you mark the MP3 format as being hanled by (File Asosciation) you can have it play in most popular media players. I prefer TCPMP.
Before you sync it you must fix it's properties though

That must be my problem. I'll see if I can figure that out. Thanks for the input. Sounds kinda painful though, as I'd have to manually input properties on every one I download to get it to load in WMP.
I've been thinking of looking into the TCPMP. Will MS Voice command work with that application?
[EDIT]
Hmmm...actually, my problme is that WMP won't even pull the file in for me to then add the necessary information to synch it. I'll have to figure that one out.

Music stops

I use LCG Jukebox and s2p to play music with my Kaiser. If I reseive a phonecall during listening the music, the music should pause and when phonecall is over music should continue?
Both of these fine players stop playing music at all, until I do a soft reset. What can I do to correct this problem?
So, was my question some stupid newbie question, that has already been answered many times before? (I didn't find the answer with forums built-in search) Or is this just so new problem, that nobody knows what to do?
LCG Jukebox and s2p - never heard of them
I'd love to help answer your question but I just use Windows Pocket Mediaplayer 10.3 that’s built in to play my music. It seems to do the job ok right out of the box (at least in terms of going quiet during calls and starting again at the end) so it behaves exactly as you are wanting... which begs the question, why not use it? I know it has problems not displaying some album art but there's a 100% reliable workaround to fix that (renaming the jpg to 'Folder.jpg').
If you insist on continuing to use what you have for whatever reason, then perhaps an email to that software publisher wouldn't go amiss. Perhaps they've released a newer version than what you have, that has addressed this issue?

Audio Manager Question

Hi. How do you add songs to Audio Manager? Is there a default directory it takes the songs from? If so, which directory is it? and can it be changed?
Thanks.
for heaven's sake, adam, you're a senior member with 100 posts! Stop making a thread for every problem and compound them into one or just search a bit!
now to answer your question- audio manager searches your entire phone for id3 tag information. You can put your music anywhere you would like and it will detect it as long as it tagged.

Thanks. Is there a way to delete id3 tag information so the mp3 won't show up in the Audio Manager? For example, I don't want the mp3 ringtones I made showing up. I tried loading them in iTunes and deleting all the information, but they still load.. When you look at their info in iTunes it says "None" under id3.
Thanks.
When I play mp3s that run fine on Audio Manager, Windows Media Player will play them for 5-10 seconds before skipping to the next one, only to do the same thing to that mp3, and the next one, etc.. Has anyone run into this problem before? How do you fix it?
Thanks.

Music Player with Genre support?

I'm relatively new to the scene, but loving my Nexus One. Unfortunately, there's one thing that I am having trouble finding - a music player app that lets me browse by genre tags.
I use MediaMonkey to organize my music collection and sync it over to my N1 - this works awesome. However, when I listen to my music, I listen like you would an FM radio, i.e. 'I'm in the mood for Country music', rather than a specific artist or album. Annoyingly, I have yet to find a music player that lets me do this.
Has anyone found one? I know the HTC Sense UI music player lets you browse by genre, but I really don't feel like junking up my N1 just to get this small feature.
Not really a solutions, but what I did was create playlists for each genre I have. Then I can just use random shuffle on said playlist that I am in the mood for.
Mixzing........
Check out Meridian player. You can play by Genre in that app.

Brilliant. I don't know why I hadn't checked Mixzing out before - I'd read about it, but someone said it was something else maybe. Who knows - either way, it works. Thanks!

[Q] Need a music player that stops after one song

Hi all. I'm in need of a music player for my N6 that stops after playing when the song I choose is over. Play Music automatically goes to the next song on the album and I can't have that at work. I can't find a setting to change it. Is it buried somewhere?
I'd prefer free but I'd pay a couple bucks for something that does what I need it to.
Anyone know of a player that will stop at the end of the chosen song?
Use a file manager to find the song you wish to play, I prefer es file
explorer. Tap to select and choose a player, either es built in or google play
This will only play that track.
Playerpro has this feature.
Clear your queue, tap 3 dots to right of song you want, select add to queue, profit!
Thanks for the suggestions guys.
I use Astro as my file manager and it will play most .mp3's natively. It's kind of a pain though, as I music scattered around.
I'll check out Playerpro, thanks!
I must be doing it wrong Paul. It still goes right to the next song on the album.

It's a setting you need to enable, I haven't used it for a while but it used to mention something about being handy for musicians and teachers.
Have a dig through the settings menu and you should find it.
