[Q] Video calling over wi-fi, is there a way? - Touch Diamond, MDA Compact IV General

Besides the in-built 3G video calling feature, is there a way to make video calls over wi-fi?
I've installed Skype and the WM version doesn't seem to have the video calling feature.
Any ideas,
Thanks,
Mike

Skype Video Problem

I have video enabled under setting but when I try making a video Cal, it drps the video just before startup call continues, only webcam disconnects.
Even more troubling is the fact that my MT4G running CM7 does the exact same thing.
I am very embarrassed borrowing my cousin's I pad to make Skype video calls. Anybody have similar issues?
I have the latest Skype update
works fine for me connecting to iPhone, Linux and HP touchpad.
the problem is on android side. Webcam shuts down. I have no idea why you are posting about all other OS except android
have the person video call you, and you pick up selecting answer with video, and that should work fine.

I can make video calls to another SGS, but only audio calls to a computer.
Is that the way it is supposed to be?

[Q] ok google while recording video

Just wondering if anyone is able to activate ok google while recording video. Only reason this is an issue for myself is I run sygic and the dashcam while driving, this recording of course also means I am driving, and ideally I like to be able to have hands free options since getting a ticket and demerits would suck.
Does anyone have a potential work around or am I the only person experiencing this?
Any help would be appreciated ladies and gents of XDA.
further refining the problem, ok google works while recording video only with the audio off. So I can record video but would do so without sound.
Is there a way to record video with sound while still having ok google enabled
