Evening all.
I've encountered a strange problem with my Vario III this evening, having installed iGo on my phone. Basically, if I put TTN6 on, the sound is a lot quieter than normal, and I can't change it. I've uninstalled iGo, but it hasn't sorted out the sound on TTN6. I've had this happen before, when I installed Skype on my phone...same thing...TTN6 loses volume (not totally, but noticeably). Uninstalling Skype sorted that out. However, this time I haven't been able to fix it by uninstalling the program. I'm using the original T-Mobile rom. I've removed two registry entries I could find for iGo, but it still hasn't solved the issue. Any help would be appreciated, as I prefer TTN6 to iGo.
One more thing - how do I get the annoying error message that keeps popping up now that I've uninstalled RSShub? (says something about being unable to execute windows\rsshubwakeup.exe).
Thanks in advance.
Anyone? Tried reinstalling TTN6, but to no avail. Still very quiet compared to how it usually is. I would assume it's a driver issue, but have no clue where to start looking. Another thing I've noticed is since installing iGo, my battery consumption has gone through the roof. Just now, my battery usage went up to 1400mWs for no reason other than to send an SMS. I have no other processes running. Before I put iGo on there, my phone rarely went above 400mWs, and idled at around 93mWs...it's now idling at 250mWs.
Don't worry about it. Hard reset my phone this morning and spent the rest of the day reinstalling everything. Not finished yet, either.
I want to completely remove windows live 10 from my HTC touch. I installed it, and it keeps suddenly causing my device to restart while logging in. I then tried reinstalling Version 8, but it still does it... how do i completely remove windows live from my phone... so that i can just give it a clean install again.
If it's not in the ROM, you can remove it via start>settings>system>remove programs.
I did this, rebooted the device, and looked in the Programs menu only to still see "Windows Live" there. I click it, and it still doesn't work. It's the version 10 that's still there, yet not showing up in "remove programs"... Please HELP!
Oh thank you for starting me off with a good start, I did however manage to figure it out. What I did was I realized that version 10 was still there, So I installed it again, basically just to add uninstall support, uninstalled it (thinking i would then have it all gone) only to be shocked to see it's still there... out of striking curiosity I run the program one last time and it finally connects without problem.
Hi guys,
New here as I just got a Diamond this week. All good until last night/today where all of a sudden I can no longer use the SMS function.
I think it all started last night. Strange thing happened when I got home from work and I plugged it into my PC to sync. At first it said it was unable to connect, so I tried disconnecting and reconnecting a couple times, still no connection. So I tried turning the phone off and back on, then reconnecting and this time it connected ok and synched up.
However, when I checked my phone after synching, it had somehow lost all of my favourite contacts list (although all my contacts were still there, thankfully) and even more worryingly, had deleted all of my SMS messages. Luckily I've only had the phone a few days so didn't lose any important messages.
At first I thought it had somehow hard reset itself because it has already done this once before, but all the other settings were still in place. Just my SMS messages and favourite contacts lise were lost.
That in itself wasn't too big a deal, but today it seems to have got worse. I recieved an SMS this morning, but I'm unable to open it (can read it in the preview), nor can I open the 'all messages' option. Even worse I can't write new messages. When I press on any of the options on the SMS front screen, nothing happens.
Also, several of the apps I've installed no longer run, they display the error "The file 'AdvancedConfig' cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate, or one of it's components cannot be found. If the problem persists, try reinstalling or restoring this file". That example is for Advanced Config. I also have Diamond Tweak and Diamond TF3D Config installed and they have the same problem now, too.
Up unil last night, everything was fine, I had turned on some of the tweaks within the above config tools (the battery life and performance tweaks mainly), but last night it all seems to have fallen apart.
I've tried soft resetting, uninstalling and reinstalling the Tweak apps above, all to no avail, so before I do a hard reset, I thought I'd see if any of you guys had any suggestions (as you seem to be a knowledgable lot ).
Thanks in advance.
I posted this in the wrong place a little while ago and can't figure out how to delete it. I am still not sure I am in the right place but here is my problem:
I have been using this program for a while now and really like it but today it is stuck and thinks it has vm when there is none. It reminds me every 3 minutes and I have tried clearing the data from the phone, rebooting the phone, taking the battery out and then replacing it and uninstalling and reinstalling the program and nothing is getting rid of the 3 minute warning. If its going to go on forever like this, I will have to uninstall and look for a program that is more reliable. Please help, hopefully now, because I can't wait 3 days for ran answer. This 3 minute thing is driving me crazy! I guess how to fix this means this is a question. I have uninstalled it for the time being to shut it up.
Good morning everyone. I have been a long time lurker. Thanks to the incredibly talented people on this forum, I was able to root my phone about 8 months ago. Now I hope that someone here can help me. About a month ago I experienced a screen glitch. I picked up my phone one day and it suddenly had a black bar across the screen along with scrambled pixels. I tried to reboot, got stuck in loop. So I booted into twrp and did a full restore. Everything was working fine for a fee days, then I started to notice things were wrong. I can no longer get Bluetooth or my mobile hotspot to turn on. I click the button in settings and the widgets on my homescreen. They will slide to on back be greyed out. They never turn on, in fact if unleavened one of the settings, the slider is off again when I return to it. App in my apk drawer all say app not installed when I try to uninstall them. Uninstalling them with lucky patcher, google play (for official apps) and the built in "Make more storage" in settings, is the only way to uninstall apps. The apps setting crashes when I try to uninstall through that. The only way to install 3rd party apk files is through lucky patcher. I have cleared cache files and data in apps that had it. Bluetooth widget app along with some other apps always show 0.00 data. When I try to open my data usage setting it informs me that there is no activity found for this action. Hardware test show that Bluetooth is fine, I am suspecting serious software failure. I have even tried a factory reset a few times to no avail. Thank you again for all of your hard work and I hope some of you will be able to guide me through at least some of my problem. Btw, I have not installed any custom roms. I had xposed a few weeks before my problems started. After realizing how much space it used up along with the tweaks, I decided to remove it. I am in no way saying that xposed is to blame, just stating that I had it installed at one point. One more thing, I have searched the forum and google, for solutions to individual issues. Tried all the things I read to do. I'm still on lollipop also. HTC sync doesn't recognize my phone as being connected either
