So, when I upgraded to WM5 I lost MediaNet.
This would have been in Start >> Settings >> Connection Tab >> Conection Icon. Then one of the Drop Downs along with My Work Network and My ISP.
I have no clue how to setup - of cource.
Edit: I think this is it below but I can not connect....
Code:
Tap on Advance tab > Select Networks
Select the drop down to My ISP and click on Edit... > New…
Enter a name for these settings : My GPRS
Select a modem: Cellular Line (GPRS)
Tap on Next
Access point name: wap.cingular or isp.cingular depending upon the plan you are entitled to use. (if not sure of the plan, try wap.cingular)
Username: [email][email protected][/email] or [email][email protected][/email] (depending upon the plan you have as above)
Password: CINGULAR1 (password is case sensitive)
Tap on FINISH > OK > OK > OK >X
here is a link to them all..

Hi can anyone help me ?..... I have a 02 xda mini s, but im using a vodafone UK contract chip, I need the mms settings. I belive there is a cab file out there someware, if so could you please tell me were i can download it, or could you please email me it.. thanks for your help in advance Dave......
This worked for me
I set up the MMS settings according to the following and then ran the cab below which made the folder visible in Messaging. Don't know if it would work the other way round or if the cab does anything without doing the settings but, like I say, it worked for me -- if it ain't broke...
Settings/Connections tab/Connections/Tasks tab/Work (or whatever you call the 2nd section):
Add a new modem connection...
Name: Vodafone Live!
modem type: Cellular Line (GPRS)
Access Point Name: wap.vodafone.co.uk
User name: wap
Password: wap
Domain: blank
No extra settings under Advanced
Finish
Proxy Settings tab: Both boxes ticked
Proxy server: blank
Advanced: choose WAP
Server: 212.183.137.12
Port: 9201
User name: wap
Password: wap
Domain: blank
OK
Messaging app/Menu/MMS Configuration/Servers tab/New:
Server name: Vodafone MMS
Gateway: 212.183.137.12
Port number: 9201
Server address: http://mms.vodafone.co.uk/servlets/mms
Connect via: Vodafone Live!
Sending size limit: 200K (your choice)
WAP version: WAP 1.2
OK
Then run cab to create additional folder under Messaging. Good luck!
I am having problems setting up the US T-Mobile data settings. I have done search after search and come up with three .cab's that say they contain the settings:
1. T-Mobile_Network_Customizations - does not install
2. t-mobile_network_customizations_335 - does not install
3. T-MobileUStPPC - installs, but does not seem to make any changes after resetting
I even found a few threads that talk about using T-Zones for all of your connections to reduce your monthly bill.
The problem that I am having is that everything that is referenced in the phone settings does not match what I see.
When I goto:
Start / Settings / Connections ... Connections tab
I see:
My ISP
Add a new modem connection
My Work Network
Add a new modem connection
Add a new VPN server connection
Set up my proxy server
What am I missing?
Thanks for the help / flames in advance.
go over to howardforums. they have a thread all about this. You'll findit by searching.

Give it a name (T-Mobile)
Select Cellular Line (GPRS)
Next
APN = internet2.voicestream.com (whichever you like)
Next

Finish
Be sure to leave username, password, domain, etc... all blank

Using just this will work sometimes.
You need to also add wap.voicestream.com and an auto picker will install and based on what you're doing, the proper data connection will be used.

This is strange I never had to use the internet2 apn. I just use the wap.voicestream.com and it works fine. Is anyone that is using both noticing any type of difference in connection?
@Peraltah
You can use either APN.
I always leave everything blank and The Edge/GPRS works all the time.
