I would like to know will ring volume auto adjust when headphone is plugged?
When I am listening mp3 by using the TouchFLO player, someone phoned in, the speaker & headphone will both sound. Since the volume of ringer is tuned to Max, it hurt my ear. So, I need to tune ring volume each time when I plug or unplug the headphone.
Is there anyway to auto tune the volume level when headphone plugged or unplugged? Or, ring tone won't play in headphone even headphone is plugged?
Thanks.

Is there a setting (that I can't seem to find so far) or an app that lowers the ring volume when I have earphones plugged in?
Right now when I'm listening to music with earphones and then some one calls the phone blasts the ringtone into my ears causing quite a bit of shock
i shall bump...
... Bump again because my ears have been blasted
Hi~~
I like to listen to music with my X1 by earplugs, the music volume is just fine coz it's controlled by the software. But if there is a call or SMS coming,my ear will blow off...(in order to hear the ring when don't use earplugs, I set the sys and ring volume about 7/10)
It seems that the SMS notify ring level belongs to sys volume. So everytime I want to enjoy the music I have to lower all the 3 volum level(sys, ring and in-call),terrible
Is there any software can lower those volumes automatically when I pull in the eraplugs and change the vloumes to high level after pulling out the earplugs ???
I am using the N1 car dock only as a charger/holder for the phone. I am not connecting the N1 to the dock, but rather to the A2DP compliant stereo in my car which I am using for both media and calls.
For some reason when the phone is docked changing the BT in-call volume or media volume does NOTHING. However, when I am not docked but still connected to the stereo, at least lowering the BT media volume lowers the output through the speakers (the in-call volume still doesn't change anything).
This is a problem for me because the in-call volume is quite low compared to the media volume so I always have to pump up the volume to hear properly. The kicker is that upon call disconnection the media starts up again at a MUCH louder volume because I raised it to hear the caller.
1) Does anyone know why the dock disables access to the BT volumes and if there's a way to disable that?
2) Is there another kernel I could flash compatible with the CM7 nightlies to boost the in-call volume?
Thanks a ton!
My phone sometime auto switch from speaker to headset but I didn't plug any headset so I can't talk to anyone, can't play music via speaker but if I go to set I can make selection of ring tone it has sound out via speaker but no sound for phone call need to plug headset to talk
When I hold the phone up to my ear and listen to voice messages in Whatsapp, it correctly play audio through the ear speaker. But the volume is just too loud and I've found no way to adjust it down. It's ok with normal phone call though, where I can adjust it using the volume buttons while in call.
Any advice?
It's fixed in firmware 30.12.112.22
