The HTC Tilt is going EOL (end of life) by the middle of December from the AT&T lineup. The latest Windows Mobile 6.1 update was just recently released adding new life to the device and is available for current owners on the HTC support site. The sucessor to the Tilt has not been announced but is expected in Q4 of this year.

Wonder what's going to replace it?
bye bye to the Tilt but I think AT&T will either get SE X1, or Raphael. Tilt is an awsome phone. Hang.tauh's Rom is great...big thx to him.

The Touch Pro being branded as the AT&T Fuze?
http://www.engadgetmobile.com/2008/09/05/atandt-page-confirms-htc-touch-pro-as-fuze/

so ive seen alot of people get att tilts when they did a warranty exchange from att 8525 because they didnt make them anymore..think thatl be the case this time? i sure would love for my tilt to have problems early next year when the touch pro is out and get a touch pro in return
i think the TILT has had a good run!
lately, i have come to the opinion that the TILT has had a really good run. as i can't find a branded Diamond or Touch Pro, its had almost a year of exclusivity, and with this community, it has been a truly enduring product. if it just had the drivers and a great camera.
but here is my question, i got this in early Oct, and I have had one exchange for a near-perfect refurb. that was in july. if this thing (externally) craps out in some way once the year manufacturers warranty is up, does this mean you HAVE to get insurance beyond the year if you want to be able to exchange (for upgrade if its all they have sure, but i am not entitled to that) once the warranty is up?
My problem with saying its had a good run is that even the next gen of HTC being released have very similar specs to the Kaiser. The only problem with it is the graphics drivers and HTC should get a swift kick in the balls for obviously EOL a device that for all intents and purposes is still a very good phone. If they would release the drivers for it I wouldnt be going to a goddamn android phone in 2 weeks. **** closed source I am all about writing my own drivers if I need them.
I don't think it is HTC that is EOL the device, AT&T is. With the new Fuze/Touch Pro/Raphael coming out sometime after October, it does not make business sense to continue to support the Tilt.

I don't know of anywhere that you can purchase insurance for it. Do you?
(AT&T doesn't sell it. I tried to purchase from my homeowners...they would'n't do it).
I've replaced mine 4 times .

AT&T does offer insurance (here) for $4.99 a month. It wasn't offered on the Tilt when it first came out, but it is now.
The deductible is $50 for now, goes up to $125 after Nov. 2.
The insurance works well, in my experience. I'd only had the phone a couple of weeks when the dog ate it. No hassles, they had me a brand-new phone the next day.
There is a limit of two insurance claims per year.
i have the same option for insurance near me (NYC). i didn't mean of course that the phone was outdated. i won't have an early upgrade possibility until at least january, and i totally expect there to be the Pro-killer by March or latest June of 2009. my tilt will definitely hold up well in comparison over the next year.
overall though, as its exclusivity and sitting atop the WM market for a year, it has had a good run by those standards.
now give me my f-in drivers!

This is my first post here, but I come here all the time. But I just got some great info from AT&T. First off let me tell you, I got a 8525 about 2 months ago, and I love it, 2 weeks later I find out about the 8925 coming out. So for the last 2 months I have been doing the 30 day trial of a phone. After 30 days I trade in for a new 8525 so I can keep doing that and get the full value of the phone once the 8925 comes in. Every time I ask about the 8925, with no luck. Well today came around and its time for me to trade in again. I asked about it again and I found out great info. I know we have all seen the reports of the Sep 3rd date. But I now heard it with my own ears. This is what I am told.
First shipment of the 8925 is Sep 3rd 3,200 will be shipped in. then for the next 3 weeks 4,480, 3,200, 3,200 will be shipped into stock.
I hope this info makes you as happy as I am. Oh and I was told in her system it was the HTC 8925, she did not have it called the "tilt"

Hmmm....I hope you are right. I don't care what they name the device as long as it is released soon 'cause the wait is killing me!
say......who did you talk to? att customer relations? or customer service? because i might call and try to digg to information myself.......and see if this info can be confirmed a second time......
Woot
Nice, I'll be purchasing one from ATT if they don't remove the front video camera and/or the price is as low as the $499 rumored.
It was someone in sales. They had no more 8525 for me to swap with. But she was able to tell me when the next shipment was in on the 27th. At that point I asked her when the 8925 would be shipped in, and thats when she told me sept the 3rd. I hope this help you get the info too.
nope nada......got nothing...the rep said he can't find any info....was talkin bout maybe it was an hp or nokia that i heard about....so obviously he has no clue or could even find any info on this information..........so i guess we'll just wait and see.....hope when the day comes its not too much of a disspointment
Incorrect Information
HTC representatives are demonstrating the AT&T 8925 to Customer Service within AT&T this week.
The Device will be called AT&T 8925, but it is still commonly referred to the Tilt.
Sadly, the device is will not be coming out on Sept 3rd. The device is however scheduled to be release by the end of September.
I just spoke with Customer Service who went up to the HTC rep in regards to the 8925, and the conversation went like this (litterly):
AT&T Rep: Can you tell me when the 8925 is due to be released?
HTC Rep: The phone does not have a solid release date, but it will be released at the end of the month
AT&T Rep: The customer I have on the phone says he has read on the itnernet that the phone will be released on Sept 3rd.
*HTC rep turns her screen around to show the AT&T Rep*
HTC Rep: That is not gonna happen. *laughs* It will be out by towards the end of September.
Well there you go, a short story of how it happened.
Sadly it was also noted that the AT&T 8925 WILL NOT have the front VGA camera for video calling.

Great info, thanks for posting that.
Hmm.. so do I want the front camera to spend more and get the htc version.. or wait for ATT version. The simple answer is to wait for both to be released and compare!
I don't know, the rep I talked to read me the sipping report from her PC. Maybe they are getting a few shipments in before they release it. But its just odd the first date I was given was the 3rd. We will just have to see.
Ok here is an update. I called back and spoke with this really awesome rep.
She checked her system, and at first glance her system showed that the phone would not be released until "mid-late sept". Then she checked her warehouse inventory, and it showed they are in fact gonna receive the phones on Sept 3rd.
She was then sort of confused and figured that they might be getting the phones early, but not actually start selling them until a later date.
I for one am very excited for sept 3rd because after continuing to talk to her, they will be sending me a free 8925 (tilt) with free shipping and taxes waived. I have been having multipul problems with my phone, and she got it approved to be sent out to me as soon as the warehouse gets em.
Wow that is nice. And its great to get confirmation on what I was told.

Friends, I have the same situation..exchanged 8525 3 times already due to bad quality, lock-ups while charging etc. etc. I called AT&T Customer Service and after many transfers to all places including data exchange department, I was told people who are posting that they'll get 8925 is NOT accurate. I am NOT trying to imply here anything at all except expressing my frustration with 8525 and AT&T. Those who succeeded..did you call any specifc tel no. spoke to any particular department? any pointers will be appreciated. The people I spoke to including their supervisors had NO clue about AT&T Tilt/8925 ..frusrtated user...
I called today. First time, no record of that unit in the computer. Second time, same thing, but at least they had heard about it. Third time... third person...no dice... didn't hear about the phone, don't know when its due in, no way to check the record of what may or may be in a warehouse.
Went down to the store, following a post made in the hermes forum. Talked to the manager. Manager was a phone geek. Knew about the phone, liked the fact that I had the kaiser home plug in on my 8525. But, he couldn't confirm or deny when the phone was going to be in, as he said it simply wasn't in his system yet. I told him some of the things that have been posted here "my friend said they are on a list for shipping when it comes out" yadda yadda yadda.
End result, some total of 3 hours later, nothing.
So, as sharmahw above said "Got any pointers or anything"?

LOL!!!! 8525 release anyone? Heck, 8125 release anyone?
(Both phones went through this same multi-month experience of "It's gonna ship on MMMM, DD!!! - I heard it from the CEO/President/Brother-In-Law/etc")
I'd love to be wrong, but I'm not holding my breath for any sort of confirmation!
Richard
I talked with 2 reps today, both in-store. One, from Cornelius, NC, said to check phonescoop.com. Yeah, I thought the same thing as you upon hearing that.
The second rep, from Charlotte, NC, knew of the phone, and was pretty much just repeating that she'd heard the 3rd of September, but only from websites, and not from anyone within the company.
Kind of funny, but, eh, wouldn't the reps be demoed the phones no shorter than a week before they hit market? Some regions may be demoing them, but the NC stores have no clue.
I did see a thread about this somewhere on here but can't find it now.
I called O2s XDA team who said that Stellar (?) will be released on the 15th. Can anyone confirm this as I (meaning Google) can't find any reference to O2 releasing a new XDA on the internet or shall I just move over to T-Mobile?
Spoke to a mate of mine at O2 today, he told me that they won't get this anytime soon. After that I went to the O2 Store, and told them that I'd have to switch providers unless they could tell me that this phone (or any other exciting smart phone...ie HTC Omni,...) would be released on O2 before the end of this year. The guy told me not to hold my breath. ;-)
So now I'm with T-Mobile, and I have to say the phone looks much better than I thought (usually the silver t-mobile finish is quite ugly). Good deal as well.
Hope this helps ;-)
H.
It's definitely coming to O2
Hi,
It's definitely coming to O2 soon. I know someone in the device testing team and they've had several in test for well over a month now.
Only thing I've heard is that in the O2 ROM there's no HTC Home ... so you need to install your own.
Brian
I spoke to the XDA line at O2 on Friday, and they said sometime before christmas...
Sooo waiting until the 15th, then getting a bluetooth GPS and sticking with my Uni (XDA Exec) if a more firm date isn't available!
I've just been on the phone to O2 about cancelling my contract with my O2 XDA Mini S, which runs out in a month. They asked about why I was cancelling it, and I said about moving to T-Mobile for the Vario III. I half expected them to say "well, we're releasing a very similar product in xxx time" since my contract isn't fully up yet, but all the guy said was to check the website for other phones and touted the XDA Trion (TyTN) as a phone to look at.
Unless he's just not a very clever salesperson, I wouldn't expect anything new on the O2 XDA scene for quite a while, or he would've probably tried to get me to stay and wait for it. Plus, they have a certain other phone they may be trying to push to the "smartphone" market coming out in a few weeks...

I don't mean to be funny but the Apple iPhone is far from a smartphone its an ipod with phone guts. Its about as good as the LG Prada phone which feels ****tier than a bush walkman from the 80's.

Totally agree, there is nothing "smart" about the iPhone. It is, as stated, an Ipod with a phone attached. No push contacts, tasks, calendar or email. there are lots of nice animations on it that make it look pretty but as with most mac products actually make it slower to use.
Anyway this is way off topic, any news on the Kaiser on ot. I suppose the day will come when the thread title is actually true
I totally agree about the iPhone, about unfortunately it seems everyone jumps on bandwagons rather quick these days, and I reckon O2 will try and push the iPhone as something that it isn't. They'll be telling everyone to buy that instead of an XDA, and keeping back new XDAs so they can milk the iPhone to unsuspecting public.
But I like to think the people on this forum, especially, are wise to their ways, and anyone still on O2 will be swiftly signing up to T-Mobile anyway! Just like me
Anyone else have any updates ?
ok it seems like everytime i exchange my device something goes wrong with the next one as im sure all of you can attest (on my forth exchange). The last time i brought it in they offered me a different device and of course i turned it down because tilts are the top..but now the fuze is out..how long do you think till they have refurbs avaialble..as soon as the 30 days after it was released is up? (for new device exchanges) or longer because i read in some other posts that people did warranty exchanges on their 8525's and got tilts so just wondering.
i just turned in my old tilt for a new one and asked the tech about the fuze... he said he didn't know the release date but they'll have them a month after the release. not sure on how accurate that is, but hope it helps. cheers
I would say keep your eye on the ATT website...when the Tilt is no longer available they will probably upgrade it then .
sounds right I figured it was probably a month..just hope when I exchange it I don't regret switching.. well hopedully I can test drive it in that grace period they give you with exchange by mail
When I was having problems with my Blackjack after the 4th time they gave me a Tilt.
YEAH JUST A UPDATE U CAN BUY THE ATT FUZE RIGHT NOW. ITS BEEN ON THE WEBSITE. $299 with 2year contract n after $50 MIR
I don't think they'll be handing out Fuzes anytime soon. I am sure they still have plenty of refurbed Tilts left. By the time they are offering upgrades, the 1-yr warranty on the Tilt will most likely be up.
Although I suppose that's not quite as relevant now that you can actually insure any* device on AT&T now.
* Except iPhone
When they stop offering the Tilt, they'll offer the Fuze as an upgrade from a defective item. I had an 8525 that broke 5 times. Everytime they said I had to stick to the 8525. Then on the last time, the CSR said they stopped offering the 8525 so I can upgrade for free to the Tilt.
On a side note, I played with one today and I do not like the phone. All of the features are great, but it feels like a "Klunker". Smaller screen, thick, have to pull the battery cover to get to the SD card. Don't think I'll drop 3 bens on that phone anytime soon. If I am going to spend that much, I'll spend a little more and get a better HTC item. My opinion anyways.
my friends brother told me that i could upgrade to a different phone like the blackberry bold when it got released...but i think my one year is up allready...dammit
god, i thought i was the only one calling into warranty repair every month! lol i felt like such a jackass!
i think i am on my 10th tilt? im out of warranty now but they did me a huge favor sending me another one...and im having a problem with my hardware keyboard and d-pad locking up randomly but rarely..hoping its just the custom ROM and not a hardware issue! haha
as for the fuze being a warranty replacement, dont hold your breath.

how soon was the tilt released when they offered the switch? i guess i mean how soon do you thin the tilt will take to stop being offered?
Im sure this thread should be in general but I dont see the tilt being discontinued anytime soon Rep says its still has its own uniqueness it will be around for sometime
Agree with AT&T for once
I have to agree that the tilt has that certain "je nai se quoi" for unique-ness. I also played with the fuze and it is uber thick with a seamingly tiny screen (just felt odd in my hands). I think the tilt is at a good point functionally that it has earned a place with AT&T.
Tilt is discontinued after december i heard? (maybe here?)
And simple way around this is have 2 phones and keep one contract a year off. Once i decide on what i want, the wifey gets the old tilt.
My wife has a Palm from ATT that drops calls. We have exchanged it 3 times now. The last time I exchanged it I asked if it was a problem phone. I was told that it wasn't but ATT has a policy that they will not continually make you exchange a problem phone. After 3 or 4 exchanges you can exchange your problematic phone "for a comparable phone". I was told that I could do it the next time if this new phone acted up. You can ask about this policy the next time you have to exchange a defective phone.
I was not told of any restriction on it having to be a refurbished phone. I am sure they only want to send a refurbished phone, but will send you a new one if you truly have problems. I am always polite and jovial when I call and I have not had one problem getting what I want from customer service in 3 years.
I can contest that you can get a NEW one from warranty this is how i got my Tilt I had a defective Palm end of last year after i got it replaced 3 times and continued to have problems i asked if it was possible to get a different phone that would have the problem. The lady said yes i could get and she suggested the Tilt, They wouldnt let me get the I phone (glad now i didnt) and when i got it brand new in the box a day later.
Another jacka$$ who has had about 8 replacement tilts. Twice had defective back-to-back refurbs. CS offered me a comparable, of which there was none at the time. Recently, I asked about the Fuze and they had no refurbs in warranty exchange. They also told me that an "upgrade" would require extending my contract.
very interesting...i did not know they did this...I am currently on my 4th tilt...and my warranty goes up in late December...hopefully they might do the exchange b4 then if not ill wait for something like the HD with a keyboard...
i just called warranty 15 mins ago..they didnt have the fuze but i got the blackberry bold
I spoke w/ a rep Tuesday night. 5th tilt. Two exchanges last week alone. At the time the Bold was not available. However the Bold released when, two weeks ago? Didnt take too long for warranty to offer that phone. For what its worth a warranty rep informed me that when an upgrade is available in the warranty dept they would offer it to an individual after multi. exchanges. Someone call next week and keep us posted (or maybe something else strange will happen to mine, again).
Hey, Sorry to spam with a general question.
My current phone is on it's death bed (SE P900). I want to upgrade to an X1a (via rogers in canada) but i'm a little worried if I should or wait it out for an X2. I'm over all very keen on getting either an X1 or X2 (due to an actual keyboard and a stylus based touch screen, I just can't use an iphone touch screen at all, plus the OS pisses me off). I'm also looking to maybe do some xperia panel programming on the side (mostly making some small simple games with some simple use of 3d).
I think I could wait it out for an X2 but i'm worried it's going to be a long 6-8 months+ before it's available in canada. Not to mention I expect the price to be a little too high for a while. Yet if I get an X1a now, my wife is not going to let me upgrade again for another 2-3 years. =)
So should I wait or just go a head and get an X1 now?
if you want to wait i suggest you hold out for a snapdragon powered device that you prefer. If you dont want to wait just get the X1. The X1 and X2 share the same hardware apart from certain differences, so your not really losing anything hugely important
Not sure what price your getting from rogers, but i got my x1a just awile ago for $1 signing a 3 year contract so i pretty much had nothing to lose upgrading. I usually do a hardware upgrade every 1-2 years and sign a new contract with a better plan each time. I highly suggest talking with customer relations as only they can give you better deals than whats advertised.
How much is Rogers letting you upgrade the phone for? I think I'm getting ripped off through customer relations...
PsychoAssassin: When did you sign the 3 year contract? I did mine last week and it was absolutely nowhere near $1...
PsychoAssasin,
What is your current plan? I'm kind of happy with my plan that I got 6 years ago.

Back durring christmas, if you signed a 3 year contract they were giving away a X1 for only $1.
personally I would get x10 or the newer android models
as wm7 is likely to be closed land for other wm devices
and wm6.X is a dead platform
I renewed my contract and chose the $50/month plan with a couple of freebies on top. They're charging me $149 + $35 administration for the X1 with a $50 "hardware upgrade" mail-in rebate. The site says the phone is only $99 for a 3yr term, so what's the deal? Does the hardware upgrade rebate take off the $50 I was supposed to be saving to begin with? Something doesn't sound right, but the lady I spoke to told me that was the price that was showing up for her. I'm defnitely going to call back to see if there's anything I can do, since I like this phone. I'm still under the 15 days grace period.
PSmonkey64: How much are they charging you for the X1? I definitely want to get a better price for mine.
hardware upgrade prices can and will most often differ from new contract prices. But recently Rogers has changed their hardware upgrade policy to now say that all clients are eligible for new customer pricing after 2 years. So Rydock if it has been 2 years you are eligible to get the X1a for $99 + $35 admin fee. On top of that you can use the $50 mail in rebate to effectively bring the cost down to $49.99 + $35 admin fee. This policy doesnt apply to corporate customers, which is why I had to pay about $300 (without signing up for data) for it about 2 months after it came out on the rogers network
regarding the grace period, remember its 15 days or 30 mins of talktime whichever comes first.
PSmonkey64,
if you are dead set on getting a sony ericsson Xperia, Rogers will be getting the X10 in Q2. If you were to wait for an xperia let that be the model of choice
Yeah, I've been with Rogers for over 3 years, and they were asking for $149. I'll give them a call tomorrow to sort this out.
I haven't put my sim in the X1 yet because I've just been playing around with it to see if I liked it. I've decided to keep it, so I'm just trying to figure a way to get all my contacts from my razr to my X1. Also, I want to use the new sim since my old card is all beat up and scratched. How do I go about doing this, or do I have to call Rogers?
To the OP, sorry for the thread hijack. I'd say the X1 would be totally worth it because of the low price and supposed slightly stronger units. Also, there is tons of support here.

Also, there is tons of support here.

yea the rogers xperia has a slightly new build which helps prevent cracks, but i did manage to develop one right beside the power bottom, but i would blame myself from the numerous times i dropped it.
your best bet for contact transfer would be to use the moto software to sync contacts with outlook and then sync your x1 with outlook.
for the sim card, call rogers, they will/will not deal with it as im not sure on their policy towards that.

personally I would get x10 or the newer android models
as wm7 is likely to be closed land for other wm devices
and wm6.X is a dead platform

Hmm, why so negative?
I just feel that as it is looking right now
android is a safer bet then wm
wm7 seem to be more a evolution of zuneHD then old wm
and don't think the classic app store from ms will improve too much with more focus being put on wm7

Well, I kind of disagree on that...
I mean we can only guess but I don't imagine
WM beeing really not open in some way and competitive.
My feeling is that MS will drastically cut the price of WM 6.X to manufacturers, so that there will continue to be a big base. I think we'll continue to see no-frills but nice hardware phones like the LG Expo start to come in at the $400 price range and below. The WP 7 phones will get all the press and be the headline phones for the carriers and cost $600-$800 unsubsidized. I think MS will just gradually improve the finger friendliness and look of WM 6.X with a few more releases. As processors and hardware improve, it should become a fast and lightweight OS. Not a bad outlook, in my opinion.
Well just to note an update.
I end up coughing up the extra $$$ (and convincing the wife) and buying an X2. The reason being I saw one on ebay being sold by a person only 10 mins away that was barely used.
So far i'm loving it. I do have a question for anybody who might know, How do I get the X2 to auto connect to my home's wifi when i'm home? Messing/configuring the phone i've had to restart it a few times and every time it starts with wifi turned off.
Now to figure out how the hell to setup the xperia sdk (the emu isn't properly running, also it seems I can't debug opengl ES with it?).
take a Toshiba TG01. it's much cheaper.
Both X1 and X2 use legacy CPU... I think you may consider other alternatives...
Too... late.
If only people would read newer post.
=/
So I was all pumped about getting an HD 7 and thought since WP 7is brand new to market, they would be opening up upgrade pricing to anyone. But, have come to find out, that's not happening. They can do it with iPhone releases and its just OS updates as WP 7 is. Someone tell me I'm not going to have to pay full price, especially since I got my HD 2 about 8-9 mths ago and was the only reason I switched to T-mobile.
Sent from my HTC HD2 using XDA App
Anyone?.....
I called Tmobile and they said they dont have any info until later this week. Cant wait! I hate my Samsung Vibrant
the hd7 is on O2 not t-mobile, this could be one reason they wont offer an upgrade to it.
You can buy it on pay as you go for £380 (really good price) or do what i did and sell your phone and use the cash to buy out the contract then get a new one (my dad bought my desire and I paid off my contract and still had some cash left to buy my wife some jeans and shoes).

Yeah, I called them too and they seemed pretty firm on not budging on allowing any kind of early upgrade for me (said to wait 6 mths and I started service with them in Mar. getting my HD2) at release time. They said I'll just have to wait until it comes out and could see what happens with them selling it for a lower\non-contract price.

It's on Tmobile here in the USA exclusively. I thought about selling my HD2, but I really want to keep that phone forever. I've sold every other one (sometimes not needing to) and everyone now and then I regret it. So, I promised I would never give up the HD2. It was the beginning of an era and the best thing winmo ever ran on.
Oh oops my bad i keep forgetting that there is a world outside of this tiny island lol

LOL! No, I totally understand and maybe $500 or so will be worth it. It's just the uncertainty of WP7 (although I'm sure I'll love it) missing some of the things I've become accustomed to.
The only time Tmo budges on upgrades is if a customer has been with em for more then 2 years or/and is over 14 months since their last upgrade and with that said all that depends on the rep/sup you talk too...only reason is tmo is coming out with so many new phones between now and Q2 due to the new hspa+ network....and if they continue to hand out early upgrades each time a new phone comes out we are losing a lot of money...also with it being around Christmas all tenure customers are calling in wanting full discounts....and when customers are wanting a full discount on a $550 phone before thier commitment time that difference comes out of tmo pocket....Tmo sells the phones not make em...
Remember you're not dealing with ATT or apple here so u cant really compare it to the iphone release....maybe u can call HTC and see if they'll switch it out for you lol im just saying...You made a choice of signing a 2 year contract 8-9 months ago to get a discount on the HD2....Tmo is out to make thier customers happy but everytime a new phone comes out we cant continue to hand out cause YOU feel its the right thing to do since u switch from a diff provider...They still have to run a company
And just so you know the only reason ATT offered the upgrade early for the iPhone 4 is because June 1st they increased their ETF to $375 so they were getting thier customers under this new contract policy by giving out early upgrades when the Iphone 4 released on July 27th
Sooo with all that said good Luck on getting that full discount...u might talk to the right rep and they will work it out for u

Man, you must work for them for sure Especially with the "we" references. lol and JK. But, I understand your point and I'm sure tmob makes that difference up in the price I pay for service Or else they would never offer or upgrade people early. And besides that, I don't even care if they update my contract and extend 2 yrs from the day they give me the discount. So, increasing my contract every time I do that would benefit them, I would imagine? And I don't want to change phones every time one comes out. ONLY a great one from HTC, which at most may be every year, as slow as we get things here in the US. lol. Didn't know the stuff about ATT and the iPhone upgrade, so thanks for that piece of knowledge. All I'm saying is, I can disconnect a line and add a line at Wal-Mart, for cheaper (don't really care what phone number I have), so Tmob might as well put that money in their pocket and save the hassle. I have 3 lines (all ready to buy a new phone) and still have 2 lines with ATT. So, it's no joke with my service and ATT learned the hard way about not keeping up with device releases as they lost a lot of people for simply not carrying and providing what their customer's asked.
