i got i iPaq 216 and it has WM6 installed and i need to downgrade it to WM5 because it doesn't detect my Modem Compact Flash Card do you know how i can do this?

As far as I know this will not work. Before the update starts, your iPAQ will verify actual ROM and ROM update versions. This actually means that you cannot install update for iPAQ6515b (unlocked version) on iPAQ6515a (Cingular version). Sad but true...
You can load the 6515d rom image on your6515a first, then won't be a problem after all...

i have the K-JAM G2 version with SPL/IPL 2.16 OS 2.16.9.1 (if it makes any difference).
i want to upgrade to WM6. i was wondering if i at all should. it has a 200mhz processor..
also i was wondering if WM6 can at all be installed on this device since most the roms i stumbled into were for G3/G4 phones.
also, if i try to install WM6 and it doesn't work and i can't load my phone again, how will i be able to flash it back to WM5?

But before i flash it to WM6 i want to know, if its possible to flash then back to WM2003 with my Shipped Romversion of T-Mobile??
I found nothing about that...
And have i to CID-Unlock the device, before flashing to WM6??? (like the other devices???)
Or can i only flash any WM6 ROM here in Himalaya-Forum (and then hard-reset and format the chip in the bootloadermenu?)

never heard about cid locking or unlocking for himalaya
only thing locked on some himalays are sim
i would asume that whatever actions was don to flash the device to wm6
5 or anything will work just fine flashing it back to 2003
just with a 2003 nbf file rather then a wm5 or 6 nbf file
