NO, you can not, you can however use a diamond based rom for the kaiser. There are plenty around to choose from.
Hallo All,
I have a touch diamond since thursday. Now i hae some questions.
The first thing, is it possible to put windows mobile 6.5 on my touch diamond?
Is it possible if i take a ROM with wm 6.5, put it on. En if i don't like it put it back to the htc rom it is now.
Greetings Paul
yes. go to the Rom development section of the Diamond forums on here.
be sure to read the sticked threads at the top of the page though or you can damage your device. also note that WM6.5 is in beta at the moment
i take no responsibility for any damage or loss of data that occurs through you following the procedures listed there. i take no responsibilty for anything that happes as a result of that either. do it at your own risk

I've got often problems with the current image. My Diamond looses frequently my gsm connection, hangs up and other problems with gps.
I think, that a new image, like the vodafone ones, fixing my problems.
Does the image works on my diamond?
yes it should but you could settle with just flashing the radiostack which is what control the gsm part the normal rom part is just wm os ting all reception differences is pure radiostack not rom
Hi, I wanted to ask if going to the MDA Compact IV load ROM from HTC Touch Diamond? There is not problem with the change keys?Thank you for answers
Hi guys,
Apologies if this has been asked and answered before (I have searched the forums but not found the answer).
The proper HTC Touch Diamond and T-Mobile MDA version have a different set-up with regards to the hardware key usage (which can be seen in the attached pictures.
As you hopefully can see, the call/home and end-call/return buttons are swapped around.
If I change the ROM on a T-mobile MDA to a non T-mobile ROM, do the buttons keep their function assignment or do the functions swap around to the same as they would on a normal HTC device?
Looking at the ROM update pages on this site, the answer to this isn't really obvious?
Answer is yes, the layout of the keys will be unchanged with other ROMs. I've used Hard SPL 1.37 Olinex and flashed different ROMS and is works perfectly.
