Htc Breeze Test Sspl

So, guys, here is the first test SSPL for breeze. I have no breeze, so please report if it works.
extract to your device root!!!
start spl.lnk AND immediately press POWER and CAMERA buttons. (or try hust CAMERA)
if the screen shows sth like spl 1.01 DFR, then everything is ok - it is my spl
this version was intended to allow you to flash any CID rom update and unsigned nbh files. the next release will be based on the latest spl and include compatibility with new RUU of 1.34 rom updates and the feature to fix bad blocks.
EDIT - may 10, 2007 - SSPL V1 works successfully
CID check - disabled
NBH check - disabled
attached spl in nbh format for flashing - breeimg.zip

i now have the problem that i can't connect mtty to bootloader... mtty ends with error when producing the cmd command line... i just had this problem with hermes to... i have 2 mtty version on all the 2 the same error...
i will try it now on a other machine..

1) Rename the BREEZE_HTCEUR_1.34.251.1_SHIP.nbh file to BREEIMG.nbh
2) Copy to sd card

4) Phohe start in bootloader and flash new rom. (but no new radio)

Hi, i work on it!!
on afternoon/evening i will try to cook a rom with a few freeware tools bases on the actuell rom!!
i can begin working on wm6 rom recently when extract the excalibur content... because of the problem that breeze is a smartphone an hermes a ppc there would be some problems with coredll's of the system! because of that i need smartphone wm6 rom... befor that there is no wm6 on breeze possible!
....
can anyone else can try mtty with the sspl ?

this should work when you have a new spl installed - and you want to flash another cid rom!!
has nothing to do with unsigned code!!

i have cooked a rom now...
only small reg changes!!
i have flashed it with hermes RUUUpdaterV2
only a OS file!
Phone boots! now i have to check if the changes are taken over!!

I can also confirm that this SSPL truly works, but I am still unable to flash 1.38 radio over 1.29 currently installed with this SSPL version.
Any hints when could we expect SSPL based on some newer SPL release (like 1.09 or 1.10)?

just extract the radio rom what you want from an shipped rom ...
take it and re nbh's it with the nbgehn utility ... than put it in the custom ruu folder start ruuwrapper and flash it...

Tried that 3 times already. Doesn't work! Although process finishes whithout any glitches, System Info still says Radio ROM 1.29.00, and my phone still acts like crap...

.... i tried it too ... no problem... you should have done a mistake...
download an usb sniffer and let it run when updating... maybe then we can see the error...
but i had done it too... with sspl had no problems!!

I confirm this is also work on my dopod 595.
Now I need to search how to change the splash screen

This is what I did/have...
- I have installed Radio ROM 1.29.00.10 (with older 1.32.251.1 RUU)
- My MTeoR is CIDed QTEK_A07 - all available RUUs fail with INVALID VENDOR ID error
- If I use SSPL (linked in this thread), my MTeoR actually does start SuperCIDed and I can run any RUU or custom ROM, and although all of them complete with success Radio ROM DOES NOT CHANGE at all.
My theory is (based on posts in Hermes upgrading forum) that Radio ROM 1.29 installed Radio BL 0108 which in turn does not allow flashing Radio ROM when started SPL is pre-1.09 codebase. I presume that it flashes with 1.09, 1.10 or newer only (makes sense because HTC released new 1.34 RUU which first installs SPL 1.09, then the rest of ROM).
Can anyone concur with my assessment or am I completely wrong?

I have now read for weeks the Hermes/Trinity threads wondering if this would be possible for "simple" smartphones too - and you did it
So while it is possible for the MTeor, maybe your kind of patching the SPL would also work for the Excalibur/S620?
I would love to flash my O2 Cosmo, but want to have an original ROM Backup for warranty/fallback reasons.
I also found out that it is possible to extract and cook ROMs for it like the way for the Hermes - but I cannot flash because of this f****g need for signed .nbh.
May be you are able to do this MAGIC on a Excalibur SPL too?
I would try out on my phone if you want to take the challange - if it doesn't work I think I'll have to get a MTeor

Tried flashing with the provided files, but still same old issue, RUU stops @ 2% of update... doesn't seem to be superCID...
too bad, we'll wait for HTC...

Well since my device bricked anyway i'll mess around somewhat, let's see what this ROM's got thank you for sharing But too bad this does not flash SuperCID on the device, but requires it i'll wait for the official ROM

I bit the bullet and tried but got this error:
Error 294 INVALID VENDER ID
I guess my HTC P4350 is not CID unlocked.

I have just flashed this new OS from the official rom (what people call, HERA_WM6_FLASHER.rar) on my P4350. This rom is for German device, like Wing's OS. There is not big difference, this is really for Herald. The mistake is the same, there are some wrong letters on the keyboard.
You can flash the OS with Aserg' way easily. Your device does not need to be unlocked.

How did you flash? did you rename the os.nb0 to os.nb and followed azergs instructions as normal?

Well, I tried replacing the os.nb file in asergs wm6, it gave a error, but when i did a hard reset, it worked just fine btw I renamed the os.nb0 to os.nb,and then replaced asergs os.nb....
im now testing out thecabs extracted from the touch and up to now its great

I used the Hermes NBH tools for that (see http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=Hermes_NBH).
My problem si that rdmshflsh.pl does only extract files, not modules...
I'm trying to rebuild a ROM for the Wizard with this one, but if I don't get any modules, it is ok to have only files in the IMGFS?

i use this way to flash my c800
and ... unlucky it's bricked
i can go into the bootloader but i can't find one RUU-ROM for my c800
i try a lot of ROMS but they take a message"XXXXXXXXX ID" CID locking
my IPL/SPL all 1.09.0001
anybody knows how to unbirck it with another way?

Eluth, use scoter's kitchen to extract the modules. BTW, PM me if you need help with this. I've already got the OEM side of a T-Mobile wing running on my device. Runs like hell .

Did you try flashing a new radio ROM as well. Previously we could not flash anything other than the HTC Official ROMs including radios.

I just upgraded my Australian P3600i to Radio 1.50.08.11 successfully! WOOT!
Now all I need is a workable p3600i WM6.1 rom.....

I have an nbh from an existing rom, I want to change the 400 to 401 as referred to in other thread - can anyone offer context (where do i find the 400 specifically referred to?)
if I search, is it hex I am searching for, or ascii?

I have tried the Trinity_WM6.1.Black_Edition.OS_Version_CE_5.2.19701_Build_19701.1.0.2_by_Akeo rom - this reports as corrupt.
Also, RUU_TRINITY_WM6.1_WWE_ASIA_3.12.YK.Lite - this one complains that the rom is for 128, not 256 MB.

experiments in flashing
I modified the first instance i could find of 0x0400 the RUU_TRINITY_WM6.1_WWE_ASIA_3.12.YK.Lite rom to 0x0401 and got a different error message saying:
Error [226] : FLASH WRITE
Flash write error happened. please check your PDA phone.
now the phone is now stuck in SPL
changed it back, and re-flashed, flash failed with "type error (128 vs 256)" however the phone now boots again.

That seems strange as the basic ROM for D810 (Standard Trinity) is the same for P3600i.....you would think both phones should accept cooked ROMs (now we have Hard SPL).

sigh. problem is that none of the roms I try will load...
By changing first 0x0400 in mary nbh to 0x0401, it flashes as far as 11% and fails with communication error, then when booting changes the inital start screen of the phone, (flashed to phone) but no further. saying the rom is corrupt.

fully flashed the P3600i to WM6.1 - writing new thread to show how.

I had tried a few times one 2 mechine
one on winxp and one on win2k3
but both mechine show the same error when i do the step 1
the phone go to 3 color but in pc side it shows the ERROR [260] message
don't know how to do ><
after reset the phone
nothing happened

ok so i tried to do hard-spl. but i got a 260 error.. reset my phone, windows came back up.
this was from a xp sp2 machine :/
the crap thing is now i cant run any cab files on the wm device.. i've definately done something to do.

My Device boot loader shows :
DIAM100 64M
SPL-1.93.0000
MicroP-Diam (LED) v11
PSOC-Diam STAGE_PVT v0x30
I have tried all Hard-SPL Standard and Developers versions but I got the same result stopping at 0% including the RUU_Signed.nbh which is designed especially diamond came with 1.93 SPL originally

You have Hardspl installed already. You don't need to overwrite it again.

the upgrade stops on 0%

What you show is the shipped SPL - so you will only be able to use offfical (if branded) operator customised ROMs.

If your phone shows this info after you flash hard-spl in your device, you dont have hard-spl in your device at all, so flash that first
you should seen 1.93Olinex forexample if u have flashed the 1,93unsigned hard-spl

My device is not branded....
Do u mean that it will never accept upgrading to coocked ROMs ?
DO u think that there is no method yet ? or we will find new methods in the future ?

No I am not saying that - If you dont have either OliNex or Jockeys HARDSPL then you could only use offical ROMs....etc etc...
So you really need to sort this issue out then you will be free to load any cooked ROM depending on your region
Remember that OliNex's SPLs have protection in them so that you can only update while you machine is connected via activesync.
When you try and Run the olinex SPL then you should get a popup on you devices screen asking you to confirm you want to run this application. Do you get this far?

Never had to this before - but I've never had any issues flashing Hard SPL to devices - over 50 different handsets

What do you meen? I have olinex1.93 and never use Active sync to flash a rom (or start AC), I put my phone in bootloader manualy and flash. Or is Ac startup even is this situation?

I was trying to explain that don't try flash (another) SPL using HardSPL as olinex one has overwrite protection.
Flashing ROMs this way is no problem - but not recommended

I found that this new version of devices is HardCoded with original HTC-SPL
So its seems that upgrading to unofficial ROMs is not possible yet ...

I have Olinex 1.30 and have previously upgraded from ROM 1.34 to 1.93. However, I have tried upgrading the ROM to 2.03.831 but it doesn't work.
Do I need to upgrade the Hard SPL to 1.93 signed? Where can i get the file?

try the "RUU_Signed_1_93OliNex_HSPL_UnsignedEdition.zip" from THIS thread as this was the only one that worked for me. I recently flashed a O2 branded Diamond and was also about to give up...it was my last try/chance and eventually I succseeded in flashing any Diamond ROM until 100%.

and this: RUU_Signed_1_93OliNex_HSPL_UnsignedEdition.zip (you can choose another developer version such as HardSPL_Olinex137_Unsigned.zip)
Now copy the file RUU_Signed.nbh of seconde archive to replace the one in the first archive. Then run the ROMUpdateUtility.exe of the 1st archive. As the moment the percentage bar appears, run the SSPL-Manual.exe of the 1st archive from your PDA (of course, this file must be copied to PDA before via ActiveSync).
Just run again ROMUpdateUtility.exe if you have a phone not responding error.
Then there you go...

Ok now, I got the same situation as described above, but the phone's software won't boot. I can just put it in the bootloader mode. I cannot put the SSPL Manual file on the device. How do I reflash it then? USPL said that this version is not supported. Any ideas? Thanks for any input.

I currently have the original ROM Version: 1.19.61.1 WWE and i am trying to update the SPL to a HSPL so that i can use cooked ROMs, can someone tell me why this isnt working? I used the HSPL from the sticky thread on this forum yet it hasn't changed anything......do I have to hard reset my blackstone after doing this? I am getting the error [240]:FILE OPEN telling me to update utility.

Should make it easier as you don't need to update vista drivers as you're using XP.
Have you followed cRaCKwHoRe's guide to get HSPL or USPL onto your device. Follow link to his guide in my signature.
ERROR [240] - When this error message appears, check whether the downloaded image is placed in the directory of RUU. If, for some unknown reason, you find that the ROM image is not located in the RUU folder, you have to download the RUU and retry again. Check that the contents of the folder is a CustomRUU.exe file and an .nbh file. If you put the os-new.nb file in by mistake instead of the .nbh, this is the error that shows up.

just downloaded again and now im sorted ive got SPL-1.56 OliNex coming up in bootloader mode however my screen is all wierd colours which im hoping will fix once i flash a new ROM, which 6.5 ROM would you suggest? And also do the radio version have match?

well browse the threads of some roms n u can know the best rom for u..
ya once u fash a 6.5 rom all screen problems will be sorted out.
for radio version, they usually are not included on cooked roms

Ok thanks! Its just im looking at downloading dutty's rom however this has a radio code on it does this matter do you think?

well ya it has the radio n well no probs cos its the 1.14 radio..
